Lovely night out, great food, fragrant baltis, extremely tasty lamb sagarana, onion bhajees, samoas, prawn on puri. Great service and lovely ambience.

Eaten at Shensha many times over the years. Waiters have always been pretty miserable but this time they were downright rude! Every time they were spoken to, they completely ignored us. No greeting on arrival. Requested popadoms - no response. Requested water for the table - water came in a pint glass - no extra glasses. When our meal was finished, we ordered a meal to take home for our unwell son, told the waiter all of this and he completely blanked us. He went away, returned very quickly with the takeaway order, plonked it on the table, said nothing and did not give us the bill. We waited for about 10 attempting to ask for the bill. Eventually got up and paid on our way out. Unbelievable behaviour - will not return!

Good food and service at a very good price. Don't forget it's a 'bring your own'.

Food was late and they implied on the app it has been delivered in time and it still hadn't been delivered. So i would advise if you dont want to wait a ages for cold food don't use shensha. I would give zero stars if possible.

Worse food I’ve ever had. The lamb was really tough and tasted like it was week old. The rice was undercooked. It was disgraceful. What a waste of money.

Amazing food and lots of options, wonderful staff and great environment.

The delivery driver from the restaurant dumped my food behind the desk a reception and left without telling me he had delivered it. I had a phone call asking me why I wasn't in reception waiting to collect the food. In the end, my food was collected late and cold because they failed to follow the delivery instructions which was to call me when they arrived.

Had a terrific meal here. Dined at this place many times previously and always happy with it. Service and food really good. Pretty good value too although prices have (like everywhere else) jumped up a bit recently. Overall a great place and highly recommended.

Probably the worst Indian food I have ever had and that includes microwave ready meals Rude staff food bland Wish I had took my own alcohol drink with me as it would have been the best part of the meal.

The food was average but the problem I had was with the service. Although the place was almost empty, my friend and I were squashed onto a tiny table for 2 with no room to move. There was absolutely no reason not to give us a bigger table. The main course was served before we had finished our popadoms and pickle and there was nowhere to put anything. The waiter, for some reason, took against us and was sarcastic to the point of rudeness. We were not offered the dessert menu or coffee. All in all a very, very odd experience.

Most staff were rude, obnoxious and pushy. We were not offered poppadoms and rushed to make our order. We waited a long time for food and it was ‘ok’, nothing special. Will not be returning.

We ordered from this restaurant as a takeaway, food was good Bombay potatoes were delicious but the tikka masala in our opinion needed a little more in portion size and some more sweetness or spice something it was a little flavourless everything else was delicious.

Tasty and plentiful, will use again. Recommended.

I had the opportunity to have some food at Shensha with a group of friends recently. It was the first time I had been there in some time. Despite the large number at the table, the staff looked after our every need and made sure that everyone had what they needed. The menu is quite broad but there were enough options to satisfy most appetites and spice levels. I went for one of the specials and was not disappointed by the results. The portions are very good, resulting in me feeling really rather full by the end of the meal. In terms of drinks this is a BYO (Bring your own) alcoholic drinks restaurant and they do sell soft drinks if needed. The staff were attentive and kept themselves busy even though the restaurant was only half full. (We went on a weekday). I would happily go there again when the next opportunity arises. As a special note, parking is available at the restaurant but behind it. However, you MUST register the vehicle registration at the reception desk. The staff are really helpful regarding questions about this. Overall a great experience and the food was excellent for the price point.

No idea how this place gets the ratings it does? Saag Balti had a sort of creamy texture that has left me feeling so bloated. The kebab starter had 3 kebabs, 2 quite average for spice and one where it blew your head off. Bombay potato was really bland. Pilau rice was OK. Won’t be ordering again, I am afraid.

Went as a family of 4 on a Friday (2 adults / 2 kids). The food had minimum taste and the chicken was of very poor quality. Really disappointed

The food was really lovely and was delivered hot. The delivery person was really friendly too. The naan bread is massive which was a fun surprise!

Third time from ordering here as bee great but so disappointed. Only part of order they got right was naan bread and curry cocktail! Did not order mushroom rice or samosas and what we got did not add up to anywhere near what we paid. Very disappointed as thought we had found our “go to” Indian takeaway

Was disappointed with my visit tonight with my friend from Brazil. I took her there 4 years ago and was so impressed we went again. Food was not upto the same standard. Korma was bland and the sauce was watery. Makhani not quite so bad. Chicken tasted nasty. Not all members of staff were polite. To top it all we had to bag up our pwn leftovers to take home. Unbelievable, never been to an Indian Restaurant where we had to do that! Won't be going back

Overall was really nice. Didn't like the lamb tikka at all though, they've changed it for some reason, it was incredibly dry, brown, bland and had a weird texture. Was let down by this.

I ordered food from this restaurant on Uber eats; I ordered chicken biryani, saag paneer and aloo gobi paneer. The chicken biryani was just dry stale boiled rice with cubes of something really rubbery, I think it’s supposed to be chicken. It would be pushing it to say it was a pulao, let alone a biryani! Both saag paneer and aloo gobi paneer, had no paneer in it! Instead they added mozzarella cheese and it was disgusting! All the dishes were soo oily and disgusting that I ended up binning it all and not eating it! I think this is the worst Indian food I have ever ate! Also, I think I got food poisoning from whatever little bits I tried.

Great service and great food. I ordered not realising there was an hour wait as we were going out. I spoke to them and they delivered half hour earlier. Highly recommend.

Food overall was really good. Unfortunately, the Tika Masala had too many onions and stringy herbs in it, first time it's been like that though, but won't be buying it again.

Usually the food is incredible, but unfortunately they dropped the ball tonight. The chicken tika masala was incredibly oily and the chicken didn't taste overly fresh/was too firm. Chicken tika starter also didn't taste as it usually does. It happens, but unfortunately it happened on a night where I really needed some feelgood food.

Both curries too spicy. Raita and onions mixed together which was weird. Not the best curry at all

I used to love getting takeaways fron the Shensha. The flavours in my favourite dishes were always consitent from one month to the next. However, I don't know if something's changed behind the scenes but it's now a lottery. I'm going to have to start looking elsewhere. Sorry Shensha, it was nice while it lasted.

Chicken briyani with minimal tiny chicken cubes in it. Dishes really bland. Portions really small. Will never order again!

Nice indian restaurant with good quality of food. Don't forget to order prawns puri. They don't serve liquor but you can bring your own.

Best Indian takeaway in Aylesbury!

Curries absolutely swimming in oil, like half sauce half oil floating on top, looked so rank couldn't eat it, ended up having some toast and crisp.

An absolutely amazing curry! Food arrived piping hot within the time allocated. All the dishes ordered were delicious and flavourful. The delivery driver was a very happy, friendly man who helped to start the beginning of a beautiful curry night at home. Will definitely order from here again.
