Our first takeaway from Mint Room but definitely not our last! The quality of the chicken was first class, the flavours were delicious and the portion sizes were perfect. We'll be back soon! Thank youšŸ‘Œ

Such a shame that Charlie is giving up. Have enjoyed his food for 30 years in harpenden then Aston Clinton. It has always been good. I understand Charlie's brother may continue in the kitchen for a while, as a handover to the new owner. I hope the new restaurant will be supported as good chinese restaurants are far and few between.

This has always been a favourite so when having family from abroad and Scotland come to stay it was a no brainer to order from here. Collected the order, was a bit skeptical as for a Ā£115 order we expected it to be packed different rather than a small box. Took it the two minute drive home and wow was that box rammed with every item. What an absolute mess. Extremely disappointing and a bit embarrassing when we have just raved how great they usually are. All squashed on top of each other to the point the dishes were bursting the dishes underneath and the packets containing the nan breads were saturated. Unfortunately we wonā€™t be in a hurry to use them again. The bottom of the box was just a mix of all the different curryā€™s sloshing around. Didnā€™t expect a clean up before we had actually eaten.

Haworth Tandoori is always a lovely experience from the meal to the friendly reception. Excellent value. I have never been anything less than a happy customer for over 14 years. Thank you Haworth Tandoori for being great.

We got food from Ivory Tusk on a weekday night and it was spot on. We phoned ahead with our order and received good service on the phone. Parking is a bit tricky, but we managed ok. We went into the restaurant and were greeted by the staff, who asked us to sit in their waiting area. We paid and within a few mins they brought our food out. It was hot, the portions were generous and it tasted good. We will use them again.

Gave 2 stars overall not because the food is not nice... it was as was the service, but the price, is the issue as the portions were absolutely miniscule...Bombay Aloo came on a small saucer, and the main consisted of 4 tiny pieces of lamb (all sauce !) in a tiny dish ! I understand now that when you ask for a couple of poppadoms between 2 people they give you four just to fill you..oh and by the way they charged us for four too !

My friends regularly pass the So India to and from visits to their holiday accommodation in Bridport. But they pass the door too early for the restaurant to be open or too late and it is closed. each time they vow to go in. A recent visit to Sussex allowed my wife and I to host an evening at the So India. My friend's had arrived a few minutes before us but the management had made them welcome and on our arrival we moved to our table. Even though this was a Friday Evening the restaurant was not totally rammed and its location means that the 'Friday Night OAF element' rarely find their was to the door. We chose a slightly cramped corner table but once we had settled the restricted space was not an issue. My friend was delighted to find an item on the menu that he had never seen in any other Indian Restaurant and he and his lady travel to and from London and acrosss europe regularly so it was a bit plus point to find something that is not provided elsewhere. So India has a comprehensive Menu which in reduced form is available as a take away either from the Restaurant direct or from the various carry-out curry houses on the Sussex coastal strip which are all part of the chain. I have eaten at this restaurant several times and found the meals to be wonderfully tasty and nourishing not just a hot spicey sauce with meat and rice which can be the case with many other restaurants. In conversation my friends and I agreed that the SoIndia is worthy of several other visits in future and my friend was also going to recommend it to his wider circle of friends and relatives. Service was attentive and friendly and helped make the evening a pleasure. We will be back again for another sampling of the menu.

The food wasnā€™t delivered at all, and we ended up going to collect it, as weā€™d waited 90 minutes and were starving hungry. Donā€™t bother with this restaurant or JustEat.

if i could eat one thing for the rest of my life it would be the chicken tikka masala. (with 3 naans šŸ˜‰ ) The food here is honestly the best thing iā€™ve ever eaten. Iā€™ve always ordered but i never left a review and i think itā€™s about time. The staff aswell are always positive. If anyone sees this review make sure to come and try the food!!!!

Highly recommended...A beautiful meal. Onion bhaji to start. Succulent and crispy. Delicious. I had king Prawn bhuna.my wife had chicken tikka rogan josh. We asked for both to be 'madras hot' they were both very spicy and superbly delicious. Plus 2 pilau rice, a bombay potatoes and a peshawar naan... A bottle of wine, less than Ā£16. The restaurant was clean and the service first rate. Altogether a lovely experience. The bill was Ā£68.45.. Inc wine. Excellent value.

Just enjoyed an excellent mixed veg curry from the Raj and my husband had a mixed meat curry. Very tasty with a good mix of veg in the veggy curry. The meat curry included prawns and mixed meat, We had it as a takeaway which was cooked spot on time and still hot when we arrived home with it. We will definitely be returning.

All curries taste almost the same, 95% of time any kind of meet is dry and hard, at least day old. Is was to hot inside and smells badly.
