The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

One of the best Indian restaurants around. The food was absolutely lovely, the service was also spot on. It was the mother inlaws 84th birthday and already wanting to go back. Would recommend to anyone who lives local or just visiting, for takeaway or to eat in.

This restaurant is nothing but constantly excellent. We have been coming to this restaurant for over 15 years. It’s is our favourite Indian. The service is friendly, welcoming and the prices are very affordable. The staff are amazing, very attentive and polite. I would recommend this restaurant time and time again. We have never had a bad experience here.

Mo was very nice guy in Germany we say ice fuzzi! The service was great and the food was very delightful. We also enjoyed the different wall designs! Would come again

We visited on Sunday evening with over 30 members of our Aglionby Village Curry Club. As always, our welcome was lovely, and Anwar, Tamina and their family, provide exceptional service. The village group inevitably create a special ambience and the atmosphere was buzzing. The food is always excellent, but last night I could only describe my meal as outstanding. Five star, food service and value.

Excellent restaurant quality food,always hot and never gives me indigestion unlike other places… our go to place for Indian food.

Dhaba 49 es uno de nuestros lugares favoritos en la ciudad - el personal es hospitalario, amable y eficiente, la comida es absolutamente deliciosa y los precios son fantásticos para los estándares de Londres. Ordered online. Delivered in less than a hour. Phone me ten minutes before it was delivered to reception at caravan park. Great food, well cooked, good price. Shour out for delivery driver, she was spot on with timing.

Great Restaurant and always good honest food , we use it on a regular basis and never had reason to go elsewhere . Give it a go you won’t be disappointed.

This restaurant is not welcoming for Indians I guess, he asked us come into the kitchen and cook for ourselves just bcoz we asked questions about which dish is what and what kind of curry spicy or medium which felt insulting. Please think twice before entering here. 😖

1st takeaway from the Tamarind Tree. Really excellent food! King prawn shaslick….v tasty, cooked very well. King prawn tamarind…..super tasty not over salty as most places. Everything else great and two free poppadoms …thanks. Will be coming again. Good parking outside.

It's one of My Wife and I's favorite places to go. The smell of spices and food that comes from the kitchen instantly put me in a very relaxed mood. The food is delicious and very flavorful.
