This was our first visit and certainly won't be our last excellent food,service and polite friendly staff

Went in here tonight for a meal lovely little place. The staff were very friendly very welcoming on arrival the food was very nice. Didn’t feel rushed at all the service was excellent couldn’t fault it. Would highly recommend this place if you are in the area. We would definitely go back if we were in the area again.

This is, especially coming from London and having been to India, one of the best Indian meals I and my wife have ever had. The ambiance was friendly the staff were very helpful and attentive without being in your face, the menu was comprehensive and service quick and efficient. But the food; simply amazing, so fresh tender and flavourful. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough, it is a must use for all dedicated Indian food enthusiasts.

The Rani is our local, and gosh aren’t we lucky! Great staff, fantastic food - whether eat in, or take out. We like the modern feel of the restaurant space, and they’re always so accommodating. Great with the children too. Was originally recommended by an acquaintance, and am really glad we went local instead of our previous fave in Norwich.

My partners birthday and after hearing mixed reviews about a newly opened establishment in Watton our home town i opted to book here for a evening meal. We were not disappointed spacious restaurant service very quick food excellent and above all very good value for money. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Had yet another fabulous meal here this evening. Staff were attentive, meal was lovely - full of flavour and just as expected from the dishes chosen. Excellent value for money.

Absolutely amazing meal, service was very attentive, we didn’t have to wait long for anything. Highly recommended if you’re in the area. We were staying locally in our caravan and found Ranis on Google maps. Easy to find and good parking out the back. Very clean and comfortable chairs too. We will definitely go again.

I’ve had a lot of Indian food over the years but this is the worst. Order was wrong and was truly so bland. Honestly Tescos Indian is in a different league to Rani’s. Worst of all they were empty so no excuse of being busy. Makes sense why they were empty. You must have no shame. How hard is it to get the order right? Do you take any pride in your food?

Just fancied an Indian tonight and looked at delivery to Shipdham. Rani’s came up and it was such an easy to use ordering website and payment method. The choices were great. Once ordered and paid quickly received confirmation email and phone call from very pleasant staff. The food was very quick to come, it was hot and amazing in taste. I would definitely recommend this Indian and will be using them again soon. Thank you Rani’s

Funny little place very easy to just drive past, when you arrive doesn't look much from the outside, but inside is amazing, greeted by friendly staff and the food is just incredible. Definitely going to visit again.

Beware of delivery charge being increased between ordering and delivery ! Placed an order online, price confirmed, including delivery charge. Food arrived and he gave us a printed receipt which had been manually altered to increase delivery charge. Restaurant called immediately after placing the order to confirm the order and delivery time, no mention of increase in delivery charge. First time in many deliveries that the food arrived not cold, so they've let themselves down by upping their delivery charge after confirming order. Shame on you Rani's.

Went there on Saturday with 5 other people. Food and service was brilliant but the best bit was the fact that I left my purse there by mistake and didn't notice till Sunday evening. Phoned to see if I'd left it there and they had kept it for me, safe n sound. Thank you so much to all the staff. We will definitely be back for another delicious meal.

Food is very good which is reflected in the price, if you want good food you will pay a bit extra. Good service too. Highly reccomend for a dine in experience

Most tasty Indian I've ever had. They do a deal on Sundays, you'll leave feeling so full, so make sure you go hungry!!

Waited over 2 hours for a delivery. Everytime we called up, it was 'it's 10 mins away' and then 'driver delivered to wrong address' The food was bland. No flavour. The poppadoms was soggy. Chicken was dry and chewy. Could squeeze the oil out of onion bhaji. Very disappointing. Definitely sticking to spice fusion

Excellent meal at Ranis. Curries were very good as were rices and naan bread. One of the party was gluton free and they were well catered. At the time the restaurant had no drinks licence but assume that may now have been rectified. Had previously had a takeaway on a previous visit which was equally good.

We came for an early dinner on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was already busy which indicates its popularity. You will definitely need to book for a weekend visit. The service was very good, attentive but not overly so. The dishes we chose were excellent. Definitely one of the best Indian meals we've had in quite a while.

Had several takeaways from here. Not the best we have had but kept using as we didn't think anyone else would deliver, onve realised another indian in Dereham would deliver, we tried them, and they were much better. One of my big issues with this takeaway is that the ring you after ordering to tell you there will be a delivery charge payable to the driver, sometimes this was £2, sometimes £4!!! It's annoying when one night i placed an order for nearly £100 and they quibble about £2 or is it £4????

We've eaten Rani's food many times for many years, both eat-in and takeaway, and we've always been very happy with the taste and quality, apart from this time. Unfortunately, our takeaway this time was, well, bland. We ordered a Pasanda and Rogon Josh so weren't expecting blow-your-head-off heat, but aside from a bit of shallow spice, there was very little in the way of flavour, and not the usual rich, deep flavours we've come to expect. It's not the cheapest place to eat, but has always been good value for money and we love it as a treat, but it didn't feel like a treat this time. I really hope this was just a blip as it'd be a shame to lose such a great restaurant. We'll give them another try, but not for a while.

Super quick delivery, nice delivery driver and tasty food.

We have been here twice. The second time to give it another chance. 4 of us dined and food and service was dreadful each time. I would advise the chef comes to Birmingham to find out how to cook decent food from Sylett !!!

we visited this restaurant under recommendations by two individuals. We were not disappointed. Food and service was excellent, we will definitely be returning and will become regulars. Staff were very attentive and friendly without being intrusive. It was my father’s 65th birthday which was mentioned upon arrival and without asking they produced a birthday ice cream with a candle and sang happy birthday. Lovely people and great place! Would highly recommend!

We often get a takeaway from Rani's and I can genuinely say it is the best Indian food we have ever had. Cannot rate highly enough. Every meal is perfect and everyone is very nice :) we collected a takeaway last week and the restaurant is lovely, we will definitely eat in at some point!

Lovely food. Service was amazing.

Everything about this place was excellent from the moment we arrive to the moment we left. Service was efficient and friendly without being intrusive. All food was top drawer, chat starter was really good and the Dhansak was one of the best I've had, hot and sour with the right amount of kick. All others meals very enjoyable too. Definitely recommend it and will be back again next time we are visiting our friends nearby.

Went there tonight with two Indian colleagues who have been in uk for 3 month's and say that Rani's is the most authentic Indian food they have had since they have been in the UK.

Wonderful Indian discovered sone months back

A very nice place with some amazing customer service. Me and my friends decided to dine here one night and we were not disappointed. Food is all really good, the service is amazing and the place is very welcoming. My friend wasn’t too keen on one of his dishes and the manager took it off our bill which was ever so thoughtful and kind. Highly recommend this place !

We were camping near Shipdham and decided on an Indian meal. Rani's was the nearest and what a great choice! The food was tasty and well cooked and the service was friendly and efficient. They have a large carpark and the restaurant is roomy. We went on a Friday and booked online which was very easy and glad we did as it got quite busy. Definitely recommended.

Myself and my husband booked a table online from the place that we were staying at next door for our 30th wedding anniversary, from the moment we walked in to the moment that we left was definitely worth it. The service and food was excellent,all the staff were welcoming,helpful and outstanding service, the decor and atmosphere was lovely and we would definitely come back the next time that we are in the area.

Awful customer service. Was asked if we booked a table and when we said no the waiter gave us a death stare. The plates they served us was dirty so had to get the changed. During us ordering the telephone rang and the waiter literally stopped our order to take the phone call. The food itself wasn’t too bad but after having to ask for the bill three times I was definitely shocked to have to be paying £5 for three popadoms. We definitely would not be returning

Not sure about the food here. It was bland, not spiced enough and everything seemed to taste the same. My partner said that the bill was expensive at £67 for two and we didn't have desserts. Nice staff though.

After searching indian restaurants near the hotel I was at, Ranis was well rated and close. Was surprised how busy the restaurant was for a Monday night. Ordered my usual, chicken madras and keema rice. The curry was very tasty with just enough heat. Great service in a relaxed environment. Will return.

Was so looking forward to this, had tried previously some time ago and was disappointed but decided to give it another go having seen the recent good reviews. Various items ordered and regrettably not one of them in our view was good. Only one of the items was eaten the rest were thrown. Whilst they offered to re-deliver it would have only been more of the same. Won’t be trying for a third time.

Reet tasty. Good quality of food and an excellent level of service as always. Ask for the lamb tikka arcash (not on the normal menu) it’s a bit of a signature dish for Ranis and is quite frankly, amazing, I have it most times I go and it’s always been top notch.

Ordered a take away whilst in staying in the area. The food was quick and of a good quality but the medium curries lacked any heat at all and were very mild. I would recommend ordering hotter curries if you like spice.

We drove from Mundesley to eat at Rani's yesterday to meet our son for a meal based on his recommendation. He was not wrong and worth the 50 minutes drive. We had the set menu and still can't believe the amazing value for money, excellent quality of food and wow what fantastic service. I would urge everyone to go to Rani's, I guarantee you wouldn't be disappointed.

I love Rani's. I've been here many times now with my partner and our baby (parents note - they provide high chairs) and the food is delicious, piping hot and well presented. The staff are really friendly and knowledgeable and give good recommendations if you're not sure what to try. The menu is extensive so there's something for everyone. In my opinion this is the finest Indian restaurant in the region and I'll come back here again and again.
