MaCh Restaurant in West Lindsey

Booked a table two days ago to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary & my first time out of the house after having hip surgery three weeks ago. Shown to our table as soon as we arrived & although we were made aware of a large party being there it was indeed noisey as we were seated. No problem as it was a wedding party & lovely to see everyone enjoying this superb restaurant. We ordered drinks which came swiftly served by a very friendly waiter. Ordered our starters & main meals which followed about 15 minutes later. Large tasty portions of Chicken Jalfrezi & Chicken Shashlik served with Mushroom Rice & Peshwari Nan…beautifully presented & served by the waiter. My husband wished the bride & groom best wishes for the future & they very kindly sent over wedding cake for us both….lovely gesture & even lovelier cake! The restaurant was very full & although the waiters were busy they were friendly & courteous throughout their interactions with diners. A thoroughly enjoyable dining experience & would highly recommend Mach to anyone who loves Indian Cuisine at a very reasonable price. We will return!

Lovely food. Friendly and efficient staff. Probably once of the nicest Indian restaurants we've eaten in. Excellent nan bread. Delicious dishes.

As it was a bank holiday it was difficult finding a restaurant open on a Sunday evening. We had friends staying over so we really wanted to dine out. We had last visited some 3 years ago and wow it is still as good. Perhaps even better with excellent food at a reasonable price. We would certainly feel confident in taking friends here again.

We regularly visit Mach for family events as the choice of food is excellent for all tastes. Service as always from friendly, helpful and attentive. Food was cooked to perfection, fresh and extremely tasty. Portion sizes are generous and everyone in our party was pleased with their meals. Good selection for vegetarians in our party too.

We went Saturday night, booked in for 8.15, got there at 7.30 and took us straight to our table, restaurant was full, waiters very friendly and drinks came quickly, good choice of meals, food came and all meals were excellent, £35 head including drinks, very reasonably priced, definitely recommend best book as very busy

Very good quality food, served at the correct temperature, and fast service. Clearly a popular place, and for good reason.

Was Ok, not the best in the area but was acceptable. It's one of those places where it's not bad enough to complain , but not great enough to rush back. Food was pretty standard nothing exceptional. Service was abrupt and sullen , no desire to interact with customer.

Always a pleasure whether we dine in or takeaway. Absolutely fantastic atmosphere in the restaurant and the food is always top quality at a very reasonable price. Food is absolutely gorgeous, staff is always ever so polite and the atmosphere is cosy, and intimate. We have both visited and also ordered a take away and its alwayd been a pleasure. Best takeaway in town for sure.

This is the best restraunt for Indian cusine in Lincoln. The food the service and the staff are all fabulous. Coupled with a nice modern relaxed atmosphere. We have been going for a few years now both to dine in and to takeaway. Cannot fault the place.

First visit here and was impressed with the quality of the food and menu choices. It is a large venue which has been fitted out well with the seating so it looks inviting rather than having a "canteen" feel. A mix of couples, small and large groups, various ages too. Serving team friendly. Large bar area with seating. Parking on site.

We love Indian food and are so often let down by the UK offerings ... NOT THIS TIME! MaCh is a modern, fresh, immaculately clean restaurant that caterers well to the Lincoln market . Staff were attentive and welcoming and atmosphere was gently buzzing - calm and relaxed . Food was delicious, with great flavours that represented the different dishes that we had . We will go back and will tell everyone we know to visit .

Great food, varied menu, attentive staff and good value. We are lucky enough that it is our local Indian restaurant but we’d travel to get there if it wasn’t.

Thought we’d try it as it is now local to us. First impression on entering were very good. Staff were friendly and the decor and layout looked warm and clean and modern. After poppadoms, I had a Prawn Poori for starter and my wife had the lamb chops. Both were very well presented and tasty. For main we had Chicken Rogon and a Lamb Biryani with a Peshwari Nan Bread and Pilau Rice. Lots of meat in both, and we thought both were really good. Their rice is also excellent, not stodgy like some places. We had a doggy bag as we couldn’t eat it all. We were in and out in hour and a half which suited us on the night. But a later sitting would suit you if you wanted to be in there for a few hours. With four pints of Lager from the well stocked bar, the tally was £75. We will definitely be going back.

We visited Lincoln for a few days and made a reservation to Mach based on excellent reviews. We weren't disappointed. The restaurant was an easy drive, 10 minutes from the centre of Lincoln, and there was with ample parking. We were greeted warmly on arrival and the service was excellent throughout. The food was incredible. It's easy to see why the reviews are great. Highly recommend MaCH.

Really good and really tasty food. Went at 8:30 on a Friday and it was packed. Friendly staff and workers. All meat is halal certified, needs to be advertised as they’re missing out on all the Muslim costumers they can get in.

We booked a table fairly last minute fir my wife, our son (7) and I for 6.30pm on New Years Eve. The restaurant had a lovely relaxed atmosphere as soon as we walked in, we were shown to our table and knew instantly we were going to have a good time.We all dined from the NYE Set menu which was full of choices, my sons lamb tikka starter was incredible and I had to stop myself from pinching it!!! Really good choices on the set menu and the food was simply superb. We were all stuffed after the three courses. The Indian draught lager was also very very nice.We will be returning very soon and have discussed making Mach our preferred choice for future NYE celebrations.

We visited this restaurant a number of times and found it to be the best Indian restaurant in the area of Lincoln. The food was to die for and the service superb. Unfortunately for us we have since moved away and can no longer visit as we are now 6hrs away. We have yet to find an Indian anywhere near to meet Machs'superb food. We do miss our evenings dining at Mach I would not hesitate to recommend Mach to anyone either living or visiting the area. You will not be disappointed.. we will definitely make a point of visiting the restaurant when we are next in the area

we arrived for a 3 course New Years Eve meal and it was brilliant. great food, great beer and good service couldn't fault it. we have takeaways from here quite regularly but nice to be waited on and No washing up. Well worth a visit.

Three of us visited the restaurant just before Christmas. The building looked nice and the interior very pleasant but that was as good as it got. We ordered two chicken Korma and one chicken balti, all with peshwari nans. The chicken was dry and not very tender. The Korma lacked any real flavour. The balti was OK (not the best) and the nan good. The draught "lager" was average at best. The staff were not very friendly. They need a manager or maitre d to welcome customers and make them feel at home. No one came to ask how the meal was either during the meal, when we ordered the bill or when the bill was produced. Only when we paid the bill were we asked about the meal and then the waiter thought we were joking when we said it was not very good. Probably the worst Indian meal we have had for years. I cannot recommend Mach Restuarant.

Went for a lovely meal here tonight, friends booked and didn't realise there was a Michael Buble tribute act on, he was amazing, food was a set meal and that was lovely access into the restaurant is easy enough, service was excellent, parking is always full here, but still enough of it.

Where do I start, granted it was a busy night but it took 15mins to take our drink order and a further 20mins to get them delivered. We ordered a starter each and our mains; 15 minutes later the starters arrived and although everyone else enjoyed the starters I found the king prawn butterfly dry and over cooked in the breadcrumbs. Not only that the only other item on the plate was a very small amount of salad, with a small dab of some sort of sauce.However, we then waited another 25minutes until our main course arrived ! However, for my main dinner I ordered off menu, which was Butter Chicken and this was very tasty indeed, along with a cheese naan, both lovely. One of our party had to wait until half way through her meal before she got her naan though and she requested a small bowl of masala sauce when ordering and it came out as butter chicken sauce - again if she wanted to change it it would probably have taken another half an hour so she used it instead and she remarked it was rather bland for her taste.All in all this was okay food but the service was amazingly slow and we had three different waiters ‍♀️ I personally think they should have dedicated waiters for each section as it seems rather unorganised. I'm sorry guys but not the greatest and service for the most part .

Beautiful place to eat, car parking is great, loads of access to the building and large enough if wheelchair user, not crammed in together, table space for 2 isn't loads tho as you would imagine, think if we ordered a few dishes we would struggle to put it all on and have room to move them about if we was sharing dishes, but service and food is delicious, they have a monthly special which hubby had and was beautifully made but can't recall what it was called, and I had a chicken harialli, (chicken and spinach dish) and we shared a pilau rice & a peswari naan, had gulag desert, semolina balls with ice cream, perfectly sweet light and finished the meal of perfectly.Great food in lovely setting

Went there for my anniversary.ambience is good .food average would rate 5/10 chicken very chewy.we had asked two different left over portions to packed,and the guy brought both the dishes in the same container mixing both the dishes.when we asked,he just smiled and walked away.We called him and asked the portions to be separated and packed,he just looked unhappy,took them and packed it separately.We had to again ask for a bag to take the packed left over.I am still to get over the attitude of that guy.would never go back.

Does exactly what you want from a curry house. Group booking for 8 on a Thursday night, great customer service, great curry and loads of space compared to other curry houses. Will attend again.

A welcome return to this excellent restaurant with superb food, friendly attentive staff and a smart open plan dining area. We noticed a very helpful change to the menu, with certain items labelled vegan, as are all the side dishes, except one. The brinjal bhaji, chana masala and the classic tarka dal were all absolutely delicious. Let's face it, when it comes to such cuisine, animal flesh is just a bit player in this culinary performance where the lead roles are the garlic, ginger, onions chillies and the wonderfully aromatic, satisfying and mouthwatering variety of fresh herbs and spices. Enjoyed spending a little more time with one of the waiters and the charming, personable owners.

We went to MaCh for our first family EAT OUT since forever and it was brilliant. Literally something for everyone. Me and Ben like spicy and enjoyed the ghost Chaka the girls destroyed the shashlik and biriyani. Naan? Amazing. We all were so well taken care of and felt safe and happy and chill.

Our last visit, September 2020 wasn’t as fab as usual, but we put this down to covid, just reopened, and lack of staff etc….Today’s visit, was even worse ☹️Everything was so sweet….. we are trying to be constructive, but I was told my mild to medium Harialli was medium only by how creamy it was! It was nothing like any other Harialli I’ve ever had before. It was so mild and sickly, I could have given it to a weaning baby. It was inedible. The waiter didn’t didn’t seem bothered by my comment that I left my meal.My partner had jalfrezi, again, so very sweet!The perswari naan, was nothing but sugar overdose, yet again, inedible. Really not impressed, such a shame, but we won’t be back.We used to love MaCh but no more. We will go to Castle View…. So very friendly, good food, and the service is impeccable.

Visited this restaurant after a recommendation and we were not disappointed. A lovely spacious setting which, although busy for a Tuesday, had plenty of space between diners as well as enough staff to keep everyone happy. The menu offered a wide range of choice and was exceptional (My partner always has a korma and said it was as good as she's every had).
