What a great find in Shifnal. On a weekend visit and found this delightful eatery. Very friendly staff, excellent service in a relaxed atmosphere. Excellent Aloo Puri (spiced potato) starter, crunchy and crispy poppadoms and fresh pickles. Delicious Shashlik Lamb Bhuna ( very tender lamb); and Tandori King Prawn Masala was very tasty. Topped with lovely Tarka Dhal. We highly recommend a visit.

Headed here for a special treat. There were only three other tables dining so not rushed off their feet yet food took a lengthy time to arrive. One chicken dish only had 4 meat pieces in so not great value for money. Portions are much smaller than previous visits. Caution service charge added automatically even for small tables.

After a walk around the town we decided to have a sit in meal here last night. When we went in and the place was empty alarm bells should have rung! The service was way below par, the waiters need to learn some customer skills severely. The food was way below standard too and not of good quality. The tandoori chicken in my wife’s dish was so old and overcooked the bones were black! The tikka in my main meal was about the size of a postage stamp and about 2mm thick. The sauces were very strange in consistency and taste too. After walking back to our motorhome we both spent the rest of the night feeling sick. Not a good experience for us I’m afraid and definitely not returning.

With the economic climate the way it is, you'd think that everyone would up their game so they can survive and prosper. Not this place. 4th rate Indian food that is bland, poorly made and not authentic in any way. Coupled with the staggeringly rude staff that stare at you as if you're somehow interrupting their evening. Put these two things together and you get 'Aroma'. Appalling, simply appalling.

Had a takeaway from here on Saturday. First time we have used the railway spice and the food was simply amazing. Will be coming again!
