The best restaurants serving Indian food in South East

We used Deliveroo and Uber Eats over Christmas. The food from Ali Baba’s on both occasions was absolutely delicious. No-one could find a fault with either of the meals.

If you are looking for an Indian takeaway, this is the place! The quality of the food is really good. The portions are decent, and tasty! As an added bonus, have a great choice of dishes with Amrita's warm hospitality. You should definitely try tandoori chicken, butter chicken and rajma chawal if you are unsure what to try. I have been visiting Taste of India for 2 years now.

Food is very tasty, and good for price My daughter had vegetable samosa and really enjoyed them and with that they gave her complimentary poppadoms and chutneys (her fav) she was over the moon

First time I've chanced upon this franchise, & I was impressed. It offers a variety of intriguing options. I was slightly miffed that I wasn't able to swap out the fries for mini poppadoms (which seemed odd to me, given that the pricing for both items is the same); but I'm actually glad I tried the massala fries - as they were pretty delicious (as a taste reference - my wife likened them to Nik Naks). My only complaint really was that £7.50 seems slightly steep to me for a wrap, chips & a can - I can get a curry meal with rice for that at my local curry house! But I enjoyed it nonetheless, so won't put too much weight into the price.

Was staying in Gravesend just for the one night and the Sharla was suggested as a possible place to eat. Great choice. Food was outstanding, service excellent and the ambience was pretty cool as well. My Lamb Chop starter was unbelievable, so much flavour. My wife reckoned it was the best Indian meal she has had for years. Nice bottle of Shiraz to wash it all down followed by a complementary glass of Port. Price was ok and they deserved the good tip I left.

Absolutely gutted as we have ordered regularly lately for this place. Not only were they quite abrupt and rushing us off the phone (First time calling, 20 mins late, 2nd time 35 mins late) but the food was also cold when it arrived. Real shame.

Absolutely shocking. Ordered at 6:58 & was delivered at 9:30. To wait that long and it was just.. alright. Food wasn’t that hot and at 9:30 at night, didn’t really fancy it. The food was OKAY. Nothing too special. Really was not worth the wait. No communication at all, even when I called they were dismissive.

This restaurant used to be my local over 12 years ago and was great then. Returned recently whilst visiting family and it still lives up to its previous standard. Food and service were superb. Extremely friendly and a great atmosphere enhance the overall dining experience. First class flavours make this a great curry house. Hope to visit again soon.

Beautiful curry. Our favourite. Hard to find a good one nowadays where we live but this is tatsy, fresh, not dry and delicious.

Food was okay. Although was very sweet for my taste. I kind of expected more, but sadly wasn't anything special and I feel wasn't worth the money I had paid. That said, it wasn't awful, just my personal taste and preference.

The bombay potatoes and onion bhajis were amazing. The massalla sauce is always a favourite with us. I would highly recommend this indian. My boyfriend had the chicken passanda and he said it was amazing and would definitely eat here again. Friendly staff, brilliant atmosphere.

Good food, uniquely designed flavors in different dishes. Out of the dishes we liked the prawn the best. Atmosphere is a bit loud. If you are expecting spicy curry, this would not be the place for spicy food lovers. Service was great! Very knowledgeable server and fast.

Very fast service and very tasty

Food is always delicious and delivered in a timely manner so still lovely and hot. The only Indian takeaway I will order from.
