Take away and cash only if paying at the place - probably most order online. Superb - had the Vegetable Thali and Onion Bahji. Thali was huge, tasty, fresh and excellent value for money and the bahji was so tasty. Thoroughly recommend.

We had a take away for ten people. I made a complaint about a few of the dishes and promptly and politely it was dealt with by the management.I was impressed and will continue to order from Joy.Their standards are high.

The food was horrible , the onion Bhaji was undercooked, the chicken of the chicken tikka masala was dry and old, sauce very sweet, the garlic nan was undercooked, doughy and also wet, the lamb was swimming in grease but palatable. We had to wait over an hour and a half for the delivery. What a disappointment to receive awful food . We have ordered from here before 6 months ago and it was nice. This is a real shame and I would like a refund seeing as most of it is going to the neighbourhood fox who doesn’t mind a bad curry. Please see videos . Thanks won’t be ordering again. Claiming to have been established since 1985, I was looking forwards to reliving the food nostalgia of my childhood. A local Indian restaurant I thought that might be able to deliver on flavour and tasty curries whilst still being affordable and homely. What I got was sweet, insipid and rather ugly tasting food. The worst dish positioned as a "specialty of the house" I think it was the Sagoti I ordered, tasted like a whole load of processed mint/ yogurt dip that you sometimes get with poppadums (should be made fresh but these days rarely is) had been warmed up and smothered over lamb. One word for how this dish tasted is "Yuk". The other dish ordered was Chicken Tikka Masala, and whilst I accept that there is an inherent sweetness to this dish, every mouthful shouldn't taste like I'm ingesting a spoonful of sickly sweet syrup. The sweetness was so overwhelming that I could have been eating anything, infact at that point I wished I was eating anything else but that horrible mess. Would I go here again, absolutely not. This is the second Indian restaurant I've had dreadful food at in Surbiton, so I'm starting to lose faith that any of them will serve up anything decent, and do justice to a cuisine I love.

I ordered food from Haweli. Big mistake! The staff member who delivered my order was extremely aggressive from the moment he arrived. Instead of taking a picture of the order being delivered to my door, he started taking pictures of me and filming me on his phone. After asking him to stop on numerous occasions, he made an excuse about needing to collate evidence of the delivery. He continued to record my voice and film me and not the delivery itself! . He made me extremely uncomfortable as he continued with his aggressive nature. . My neighbour heard the commotion and stepped out to help me and offered to call the police. At that point he ran off. I have my food but cannot even eat it due to being so upset about what has happened. I called the restaurant and they had no concern whatsoever, which in itself is very concerning!! Now i have some random man with my video in his phone and a restaurant that made excuses for him! I am absolutely disgusted!

Takeaway. Food is ok. Unfortunately takes between 1hr 30mins and 2hrs to arrive, consistently. I only live about 5mins from the resteraunt so it takes them an hour and a half to prepare a small meal for one. I was a regular customer but will not be ordering again. Food i just had that took 2 hrs to arrive was disgusting as well. Obviously. Because it's been riding round in a car for an hour. Having to get my money back through just eat and will not be ordering again.

Food is incredible and fantastic because they have very kind people and 5 stars and come eat from here and have nice day your lovely people

Shocking! Do not recommend!! Lied twice about when our food was due to come. Each time said the driver had left but they had not. Unable to cancel the order. Over an hour later than the latest delivery time. So disappointing when it did come! Korma was watery, peshwari naan had no coconut flavour and the chicken was ultra-processed - didn't taste like chicken, like it had been stored in brine.

We have been regular consumers of Take Away deliveries from Deea, with a high level of expenditure over the last few years. Last night , March 16th 2024, we ordered a delivery at the cost of £88. Firstly , a king prawn shashlik dish @ cost of £16 approx. one of the most expensive dishes on the order , was not delivered. I rang the restaurant and it was delivered , albeit later than the original order. Then my daughter found a black hair in her vegetarian dish,. I rang the restaurant again, and the manager rang me back shortly afterwards to say it was a hair from a brush they use on the Tandoori grills. He sent another replacement . By then it must have been some time after the original delivery and my daughter would not trust the food again, feeling quite ill at finding the hair , and of course by the time the replacement dish had been been delivered again, it was all to late for my dinner. waiting for the prawn dish and hers, it felt like money wasted . Ok, these things happen people might say , but when you spend £88 ...not unusual for us with Deea , it is not unreasonable to expect due care and attention. We will not be ordering delivery from Deea ever again. Just not good enough or acceptable standard of service. Very careless and poor customer service.

One of the worst Indian/Sri Lankan restaurants ever. Terrible food...clear signs of the food was prepared long back (at-least a day back). What a bad experience for the money paid...Please avoid at any cost. Those who rated more than "Terrible" probably never had a Indian/Sri Lankan food before. Never going to visit this again.

The identity of Laxmi is a little confused, it's not sure if it's a take away or restaurant, the result is poor service and a limited menu. Quality of the food varies and some of the food is definitely microwaved. On the whole, not a great place to eat, but I've been to worse!
