Roz ana in Kingston upon Thames

It has been quite a while since our last visit to Roz Ana but we rectified this on the weekend and went for a family dinner. Food and service were top notch! There were some wonderful new dishes on the menu, along with existing favourites. The red snapper and the biryani were highlights. Will not be waiting so long for our next visit. This is one of the best Indian restaurants I have been to and can wholeheartedly recommend it.

My husband's 70th birthday - a party for 30 friends was absolutely brilliant. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating & imaginative in the planning, the food was superb & plentiful, the atmosphere relaxed, the service excellent. We can't recommend RozAna highly enough. Our guests came from far & wide & were blown away by it all - wishing they all lived nearer! Thank you! Joanna

One of my favourite restaurants of any kind anywhere. Pitch perfect food, with a menu that manages to be simultaneously authentic and imaginatively contemporary. The chicken Laphroaig masala - and the chocolate samosas for dessert - will change your life! We also hosted a party in one of the spaces there recently and the service, atmosphere and food even for a big group with different dietary needs were all impeccable. Thank you Roz Ana!

The best Indian food in Kingston. Really a high level restaurant with a friendly and professional service. Our waiter, Gargana, was super efficient and lovely. We came at the Roz Ana for the first time almost ten years ago when we were living in Kingston and any time they beyond our expectations. My little daughter do love the soft shell crabs, super recommended.

Gargana was so attentive and professional. She was always smiling and the customer service was exceptional. She made the experience along with the beautiful food!

Decent Indian food, hygienic, and better than your average indian restaurant in london. As a pakistani I do have high standards, their samosas were a little under seasoned and chaat was made from sweetened yogurt (the concept of sweet yogurt doesn't even exist in india/ pakistan). Some main courses are pretty delightful, while others are OK. But great service staff is always prompt, polite and helpful. And the restaurant has a decent atmosphere.

The food was authentic with the right amount of spices and portions. Nothing like eating food in the UK if you're not in India!

stopped at roz ana’s per the recommendation of our airbnb hosts and it did not disappoint! we ordered the aloo tikki chaat, chicken tikka masala, and lazeez lamb, with a side of rice and roti, all packed with flavor. it’s also air conditioned!

The biryani is out of this world. It's the place to come for your special night out. Try the seafood special for appetiser then choose the Goat curry... finish off with rice pudding or mango sorbet.

We are regulars. It’s always good.

We ordered from here for 10 years and have always enjoyed. Giving the food 4 stars because when we last ordered the meat they served felt old and liver like and was inedible (Lazeez lamb). It is also becoming too expensive to afford as a Tupperware of curry is now between £14-£17. However, usually the standard of food is amazing so hopefully a one off experience.

Excellent food, great ambience! Its suited for a fine dine experience so justifies the slightly higher pricing. Certain orders may take time but I am assuming that is only because its been made fresh. Overall wonderful experience.

The best curry I’ve ever had! So delicious and authentic, I am now a regular customer. Also is great as a delivery/takeaway. The staff are also so lovely. Cannot recommend enough :)

Enjoyed the food and atmosphere. It was very busy, clearly popular! The staff were friendly but sadly it was an hour wait between starter and main, which we found a bit long. Luckily one of the waitresses apologised for this but it’s a shame it was such a wait as we probably wouldn’t rush back.

Best Indian restaurant we’ve been to in Kingston and probably London ! Try the started with the chefs special! Delicious, authentic, traditional, amazing quality and flavour and affordable! Can’t fault it, and our waitress Gergana was so lovely, we got 10% off our bill by signing up to a locals app to support local independent restaurants! Win win!

Always a wonderful time going there. Delicious food, I always try to order something different from the menu. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. A lovely venue and a very worthwhile dining experience.

If you are missing authentic Indian food, think no more! This is the place to be!

We having been visiting Roz Ana for many years we have now noticed that the food is still good but the service has really deteriorated. The staff although cheerful were forceful and made many mistakes bringing wrong drinks having to wait 5 mins for rice while the rest of the table had their dinner. We have been recommending this restaurant for years but would feel uncomfortable recommending again.

The food is very good quality and they cater well for gluten free. Service is amazing. The staff is very well trained polite and welcoming. Always a pleasure to dine there.

Delicious food as always but we were convinced to go for the set menu which made the evening very expensive and too much food for us. Mango lassis were also very tasty.

Went here last night with friends and was very disappointed. It was a very different experience to when I went before. Firstly, they put popadoms and chutneys on the table which was not ordered. When this happens you assume that these are complimentary. We then asked for some more. On the bill we were charged for two portions of this which was unexpected. I think this is just bad form. We then ordered starters. The waitress repeated the order but forgot one of the starters that we then had to remind her of and she then bought. One of starters which was the aloo ticki quite honestly tasted a bit weird. I have had this dish many times and the taste was almost like the potatoes were old. This really was the precedent set for the rest of the evening where we would ask for things and would have to ask a second time because she would forget. It’s a shame because this restaurant used to be very good and had a Punjabi chef who we met a couple of times. I am not sure if the chef or owners have changed but it definitely is a place we won’t be visiting again.

Relatively small menu compared to other restaurants but every one a banger! Nicely decorated inside with good service. Looked like could get quite busy at the weekend so book in advance.

A nice cozy place with ample seating available for even for large number of guests. The food wasn't very spicy or oily. Decent portions and tasty 🤤 The kids loved to eat the customised mild versions. I would recommend you to visit and you won't be disappointed.

The server we had was very sweet and nice and it was very nice talking to her. the food was so delicious the taste was just and authentic Indian food and this was the place. We had an excellent meal here..food and wine & service was very good..we didnt booked but they found us a table very quickly & were served our wine with speed..highly recommend this restaurant.

We were looking forward to trying Roz Ana given the positive reviews but left a bit underwhelmed. Generally, a good experience, restaurant is well set up, quality surroundings, but the food was disappointing. For fairly high prices, although the food tasted good, they dishes seemed to be a lot of sauce and not much substance whether meat or vegetables. We left a bit hungry. It's pretty local to us, but to be honest for my money, I'm just not excited to return. Which is a pity

We've been going for 15 or so years. Food is always amazing. Tonight the service let it down though, with some very inexperienced staff. They were unclear who was serving which table meaning we had lots of duplicate "want another drink?" / how is your meal questions. They brought us the wrong bill. And when we were ordering kept telling us to try x y z rather than what we'd chosen. It made for an annoying experience.

Nice enough food although most of us commented that our dishes were very spicy (the same dish in other places is more mild) the naan was dry too. The service was also a bit lacking - drinks requests had to be made twice and servers didn't know the dishes or seem to care about doing a good job. When asking about my food intolerance, I was handed a spreadsheet to work it out myself. Visiting from out of town and would not rush back on my next visit.

Best Indian restaurant in Kingston

We never tried it before and decided to go for my husband’s birthday. Absolutely perfect, the food is delicious, the cocktails are amazing and the service was impeccable. They even offered us a complimentary birthday dessert ❤️ cannot recommend it enough

Absolutely mesmerising. Left speechless with the asthetics. It bloweths the mind so much! Ali's face was particularly incredible and unique and just realllly attractive . I just can't get over it, I'm absolutely love struck, her facial features, her aroma, just wow.. what a woman.. I mean restaurant

Dinner on 21st Feb The good: Lamb chops and the Bollinger Champagne. The Lamb Biryani was ok but it is definitely not Hyderabadi biryani. I know it is difficult to replicate the same taste here in the UK, but the masala, the flavours were not even close. The Lucknavi Chicken Biryani was better than the Lamb Biryani Bad : Service: We were received by a nice , friendly lady who explained the menu and took the initial order but we were later served by a young man who did not know even how to serve champagne . He was rude and unapologetic. This is exactly the kind of person who should be barred from restaurant services. The service was bad! Food: The sheek kabab , it was not minced meat, it was meat almost ground to a paste.

Really good Indian food and the seeded sour dough naan is a must try!
