The king prawn curry was pieces of king prawn all cut up too small and was extremely chewy. I had to throw it away.

Korma was watery and everything else was dry! Stale onion bhaji, dry spinach, all the food was bearly warm. Absolute rubbish!!

Mostly good but last few times the Chicken was an odd texture really hard tough couldn’t chew it very disappointing we wasted more then we actually ate.

Haven’t ordered from here for quite awhile… not a good experience back then. Unfortunately not much has changed… food still swimming in buckets of oil… not sure where the ‘sauce’ content of a dish is!?

Excellent takeaway- the best king prawn puree starter I've ever had - garlic mushrooms were a generous portion. Chicken pathia and rest of the meal all good quality and decent portions. Will certainly order again.

not good tonight I've ordered from here for over 9 years but tonight was terrible the chicken was rough the biriyani was to wet and I don't no y mushrooms were in the veg curry as they have never been there very different taste not good disappointed tonight will try again but if the food is the same standard il be looking for another curry house

Great food as always. Love your curries and rice. Would love if you added more coconut filling in your bread, as sometimes can barely taste any. Everything else is fabulous.

Better packing please. The last two orders have been collapsed into eachother. This one's just arrived and the bottom dish has all spilled out.

When the order was confirmed, the ETA was later than suggested when I selected the takeaway.

Everything was just ridiculously spicy and too hot for my son to eat. A biryani and basic lamb curry shouldn't be as spicy as they were. Had to throw away and order from elsewhere. Won't be ordering again.

Just ok, onion bahjee was rock hard and portion sizes smaller than other places but was cheaper so did the job I guess

We always have a delicious meal from Spice Lodge. Our local go-to for a reasonably priced and tasty Indian take away. Really recommend the paneer tikka masala (for vegetarians) always a crowd favourite!

I've been ordering food from here for about 5 years and switched to it because it's local to me. Glad I did. Food is great and friendly service, all at fantastic prices. A good curry and always fresh.

The naan I ordered came in all burnt and inedible. I tried calling the restaurant; only to be told thrice that they couldn’t hear me speak. My kids couldn’t eat the naan bread because it was so burnt. Such a bad experience

Delivery was 40 minutes late, the curry & chips was cold, union bhaji was hard & couldn't eat it. Not going to order from them again

Avoid at all costs. Delivery was 1 hour and 45 min late ridiculous service every time I called they said the driver was on his way when that was not the case.

The boss is the best bloke you will get if something is missing or you have forgotten something he will make sure it is delivered asap while or before eating your food

I really don’t leaving bad reviews but this meal was absolutely dreadful, all was grossly overcooked, couldn’t even cut the onion bhaji as it was like a biscuit. Sorry but this was terrible!

The Lamb Jalfrezi was succulent and fell apart on my mouth, the sauce was spicy enough to cause just a sweat. The Vegetable Biryani was packed full of Vegetables and the rice was nice and soft. The Chicken Tikka starter was delightful. I recommend Spice Lounge and will definitely order from here again.

The food from Spice Lodge I've found the most authentic and so tasty. Coming from Asia with a wife that cooks really well, Spice Lodge is an excellent break with delicious food. If you haven't tried yet, Spice Lodge is a MUST.

Absolutely terrible service waited over an hour and a half told us our food was delivered, they then said they would send us a new order to then send the original blamed us for it, the food was in appalling condition smashed up leaked all in the bag was cold and uneatable. Absolutely terrible restaurant never experienced a takeaway so bad.

Poppadums we’re disgusting, cocked in old oil, meet in Methi Gosht was fatty and low grade..Balit tasted exactly the same as Purgada

Curry was mild. No green chillies as advertised and it definitely wasn't 'Madras hot', also as advertised. It might be my last from there. It was once my favourite curry house, but not anymore. Curry also had onions as a space filler. It was from the 'chef's special' section, but no way is that a dish to he proud of.

Food not as good as before. One dish was too hot (and I normally eat very hot food!) and very sweet (almost sickly), the other had dry meat. Extremely greasy too. Will not order from again.

Another fabulous meal from Spice Lodge!

Not sure the driver followed instructions. Our doorbell (inside the porch) has a loud ring and I certainly didn't hear it. Because there is an old, not working bell push on the outside I always stress that the doorbell is inside the porch to the right of the door. What happened is the driver rang me and left the meal on the doorstep. No sign of him when I opened the door.

Dinner was 20 mins late turned up cold

Worst ever bad experience which i have had now in kingston i ordered for chicken khorma curry for takeaway instead of salt they used a sugar in curry, When did i spoke to the manager of this store he told me to adjust it for today tomorrow he gonna give me a compensation the both manager and the chef fooling and doing fraud with the customers.

I've ordered a few times from here and I do like the food. Very good value for money. However I'm petty and will never get over the driver who basically was rude to me because he had to drive from Kingston and passive aggressively blamed me for being late because apparently I didn't live close enough.. maybe don't accept my order babes.

bhuna hardly had any sauce, the chicken pieces are hard, murgh masala is so oily! chicken tikka wrap is so chewy my son can't eat it, the chips arrived so soggy and wet in the bag! we did not enjoy this meal!

I ordered last week for the first time and everything was delicious. Ordered the same again tonight and it was as though it came from a different place. The lamb curry was sloppy, oily, salty, tomato flavoured and definitely not the same as last week. The tikka masala had a thick layer of oil on top of the sauce and also tasted salty. I called the restaurant and the man that answered was mumbling and incomprehensible so I didn't get anywhere with him. To top it off, it took 20mins to drive less than half a mile.

Chicken in curry a bit though. maybe a bit old, prefer fresh chicken.nice but a bit chewie for me. Mik. Kingston.

we love indian food in our home! however achori was dry. bhuna had no sauce. we need sauce to eat with our nan and rice. next time could you make it more "saucy" PLS cause we like your food ok thank you, byeee:)

All frozen in products, overpriced... I threw my £35.00 takeaway in the bin....absolute worst indian food I have ever tasted.... My chikken tikka tasted like burned plastic with big blobs of chicken, not even tikka cooked. Sauce looked like it was for an italian pasta. The biryani dry and rate 2/10. Sorry guys but £35.00 is a weeks worth of groceries and i had to throw your food away. Coming from the food sector I can surely tell you this food is bad,

Nice food but took close to two hours to arrive. Food was cold and items missing.

Food was good and I’d order again. However expected delivery time was mismanaged. When I ordered estimated delivery was 35-50 mins, but once I’d ordered it said my order was due 1hr15-1hr35 after I ordered, and it arrived at the end of this period (although estimated delivery time on the website still said 35-50 mins).

The plain naan was uncooked and the curry was spicy.

I wound not go anywhere else , food quality is great.

Very bad service and the food. Food was cold. The employee shouted at me. All they offered was a replacement.

I had ordered 4 biryani and last time I ordered, my naan breads were burnt and they said that next time I will get it for free. They told me to pay £30 but I asked for a discount and they said £25 but then they changed to £27 I said fine. When the driver came my daughter opened the door and he was shouting and demanding £41 and all my children heard him. Then I called the shop spoke to the manager then he apologised for the driver.
