Absolutely ridiculous tandoori chicken ordered and delivered after 1 hour. Cold, smelly and hopelessly cooked tandoori - if someone believes to be served authentic tandoori here, please do not.. this version is some other dish from some other country but not tandoori from India. Will never try anything and waste my hard earned money here, ever!

I decided to take a chance on ordering a delivery directly over the phone from this little takeaway, and was not disappointed. The proprietor was courteous and eager to please. The food arrived within half an hour, without unnecessary packaging, at a good temperature. The dishes were tasty and looked appetising. I would not hesitate to order from this place again. Local council hygiene rating is four out of five.

I do not recommend this takeaway. We decided not to eat as soon as open the boxes. Of course we took some but I can feel straightsway lots of MSG. Looks taste like yesterdays leftover food. When price calculated the shop put another pound like some dodge newagents regularly did it to kids. Meat Thali is 13.95 but enough for 6-7 pound. Prawn biryani is 8.95 but maybe 10 ish tiny small prawns in container. Very dirty inside/over the counter.

Regularly order from Nawab to Go but this is the second time that it has been really cold on delivery. Shouldn’t have to reheat a takeaway so that it is edible. Used to throw in a free popadom or two but nothing given now, slightly downhill unfortunately. Food is really good though.

Ordered take away from set menu. Food ready on time, absolutely delicious. Prices better than other nearby restaurants. Will be back.

substituted 3 x onion bharji for two lousy vegetable samosas. Please don't accept payment for products you do not have and then inform your customer on their doorstep that you have replaced something on the menu.

the food is nice but the portions are small when you look at the price. We have ordered a few times, and the food has always been good and delivered on time just for the money spent the portions could be bigger.

Ordered through JustEat, had a Tandoori Chicken and Chicken Madras... terrible, no seasoning, dry over cooked chicken. Yuck. The garlic naan was yuck. Just no!!! Don't go!!!

Appalling service. Would not recommend. I was visiting family and we we ordered for 20:20, the order was pushed back to 20:30 by the restaurant - fair enough it's busy. At 20:45 they called to say they were lost! After 10 minutes of being on the phone with them and standing outside trying to find them they finally found the place, except they didn't tell me - they hung up and then as I was walking back to the flat ran past me! So success? No. The food was cold and was missing part of the order. After speaking to them on the phone they kept trying to sell the idea they would give a free dish next time - which as I don't live in the area would be useless for my account. Eventually they said they would drop round a cash refund within half and hour as they can't refund the card. 1.45 minutes after the food turned up, 2 hours AFTER our scheduled delivery time they turned up not with the refund but the part of the order that didn't turn up! I explained to the delivery person that a curry after the meal was eaten 2 hours ago was useless and that I was expecting a refund. He said he didn't have cash would return in 15 minutes. After 30 minutes he had not returned and we had to leave to get the last train. After speaking to Just Eat to get a refund they refused to authorise a card refund, claiming the missing order was delivered! Complete joke. Also shows the consumer has no protection from merchants like this as they can mess up and they fain ignorance. Terrible.

Overall the experience was disappointing. The food took 95 minutes to arrive, and when I called to ask where it was the man on the end of the phone was very rude to me. When the order did arrive the nann bread was stone cold, the rest barely warm and the popadom missing. Will not be ordering again.

He estado usando Nawab para ir regularmente durante varios años, y hasta este año tuve pareció uno de los mejores sitios de comida para llevar que me gustaría curry encontrado: personal amable, generoso con el chutney o poppadom extra aquí y allá, servicio rápido y la comida excelente. Recientemente, sin embargo, han observado una disminución real en el estándar. Late delivery. Driver said he was chef and driver. Despite that being admirable, not particularly good for delivery times on a Friday night! Good food, just hire more drivers.

Ordered takeaway for collection and it took over an hour to be ready from when they said to collect it. While I was waiting another guy came in to complain as he had been waiting 2 hours. Order finally given and got home to find one of the curries was missing. The guy then took 25 mins to bring it and I had to chase again - my house is a 2 min drive. Food was then inedible!! Big film of fat on the top, curdled sauce and horrible quality meat. Sundries were also bad!

Tenía grandes esperanzas para este llevar restaurante después de leer algunos de los comentarios, pero quedé muy decepcionado cuando finalmente recibí mi comida. La comida tardó más de una hora, y cuando llegamos estaba frío, muy aceitosa y el tamaño de la porción del plato principal era muy pequeña. No es gratuito, y me poppadoms con hambre y disconforme. Muy decepcionante - ciertamente no lo recomendaría.

Waited over an hour and 15 minutes for our delivery. They had then put on the app that our food had been delivered by this point someone had rung and asked where we wanted it delivered to so clearly the food had not even left the place. After a long wait the food arrived the naan was cold and the rice wasnt hot. Just not up to standard we usually order from here but this is the second time the order hasnt been correct.

Great flavoursome food which arrived very promptly.

Delivery was super quick and driver was friendly. Gave us a free bottle of Diet Coke. Saag aloo and paneer tikka masala were lovely, rogan josh was pretty overloaded with onions and not as tomatoey as other Indian places. Lemon rice and chilli garlic naan very good. Onion bhaji ok, maybe a bit dry. Poppadoms, mint sauce and pickles were great, my one complaint would be that the mango chutney was incredibly watery. But overall this was a good experience, portion sizes were plentiful and the food was generally tasty.

First time I have ordered a takeaway from Nawab. Really tasty food and I'll definitely order from here again.

Great tasting food. Different but familiar flavours. It seems the new management have made some great changes. We've used Nawab over last couple of years. With food this good, we won't nt be stopping anytime soon.

This is the second time we ordered from Nawab. The first time was really delicious & quantities were decent. We got more poppadoms than we ordered and couldn't really fault the meal even though prices were slightly higher than we would normally pay. We were satisfied customers! This second time, was a different story. We ordered practically the same as last time. However, we were pretty disappointed. The quantities were not as big and the quality and flavours were lacking. No freebies.We tend to over order as we like our food. But this time, we were left hungry....and we would now hesitate to order from Nawad again based on our last experience. Which is a shame as our first Nawad experience was so good.

Always order from this place but was a bit disappointed this time - the masala had 4 small pieces of meat and lots of sauce. Hoping it's a one off.

Driver got lost and wouldn't take advice on the phone as to where we were located, shouted at us on the phone, when finally here was the wrong order. Called the restaurant and they refused to send us our food and were very rude. We finally got our food 3 and a half hours later and it tasted like a little kid had cooked it. A total disgrace

Our usual favourite Indian restaurant down the road was under new management and had been a bit disappointing so we decided to try somewhere new. Based on all the exceptionally good reviews Nawab to Go has received we were excited by the prospect of getting a takeaway from here. The food was delivered slightly earlier than expected which was a good start. As a main I had chosen the chicken Satkora which sounded interesting and my wife had her usual favourite, vegetable dhansak and a side order of bombay aloo. I think this is the first time in my life I have ever thrown a curry away. The satkora was supposed to have a "sweet aromatic citrus flavour" but the closest it came to this was the unpleasant taste you get when biting on a lemon pip. I would have put this down to experience and tried something different from here next time, but then my wife who is only allergic to shellfish started feeling very unwell with all the symptoms of anaphylaxis - itchy throat, swollen airways. Luckily it was only mild, but it was a bit of a shock at the time and can only be explained by her (vegetarian) dish having somehow being contaminated with prawns or their juices. Sadly, on this basis we cannot risk giving this place a second chance and would question the standards of food preparation. Anyone with similar allergies might be wise to steer clear

i was looking forward to trying their food, as this place is ranked at the 2nd best in surbiton. we ordered chicken tandoori, meat samosa, saag panner, beef bhuna with plain rice. it was too tasteless to eat...how disappointing! unfortunately, this place cannot be placed just after the French table - no way. the staff is extremely friendly, welcoming, and nice. they made me feel i would like to come back, but after i tried their food, it is impossible for me to go there for food.

Highly recommended this little Indian Takeaway, must try SATKORA wild Bengal lemon must try with little heat with chilli, FANTASTIC taste and aroma, I wished if I lived in Surbiton I would been very regular. Excellent service.

Think about what you want in a takeout:quick delivery, fresh ingredients and good service that gives you value for money. Nawab ticks all those boxes. It is on my top list for a takeout option. Deliveries are always in a timely fashion and the quality is a trade mark. Top marks!

A proper curry with some proper heat even in the often described 'fairly hot' staples such as Madras or Ceylon is hard to find, even in the mini curry Mecca of Surbiton...I've tried a few. Nawab has become our favourite. Friendly service, swift delivery and really well spiced tasty curry. The lamb in my madras was good - tender and with a nice heat, and the onion bahjee is top notch - always a sure sign of a good curry house in my opinion. Keep it up, Nawab. A small place dishing out some big flavour.

Was very average at best. To be honest it all tasted the same just different levels of spice.

Together with Indian Tapas my favourite Indian/Pakistani take away in Surbiton. Service is very polite and food is delivered hot and fresh. The food itself is the best Indian/Pakistani food you can find in Surbiton and certainly the most authentic. If you are looking for bland and very mild tastes then Nawab is not the choice for you. I have tried most dishes and would certainly recommend dishes such as Dhansak, Hallim, Korak Bagaun and the Sagoti.

It took 2 hours to be delivered! Without including the time that the delivery guy was lost for, whilst being extremely rude on the phone and forgetting one of the naan breads that we paid for.

Delivery was 20 minutes late, but for good food that's fine, But korma like water with no flavour and Luke warm on delivery, onion bhaji's cold, lamb bhuna no flavour, Not much else to say but won't be ordering from here again
