The best restaurants in Kingston upon Thames London

A return visit… I ate a Breakfast… I think that it’s still one of the best places to serve a full cooked English breakfast… really nice and beautifully cooked and served. The coffee is also excellent. Thanks.

I went to the Queens Head last night with my wife and our two close friends for their Thursday steak night, which we have had before and always raved about it to our friends but now we were there with them. Last night though the whole meal was just delicious we ordered 2 Steak De Boufes to share with our better half’s both medium rare, with thick cut chips, large mushroom and grilled tomatoes and peppercorn sauce, I had mash instead of chips. The steaks were just incredible, I love steak and these were as good as any I have had before at either Gouchos or Argentinian steak house. But as it was steak night we got a free bottle of red wine per couple. I asked the manager Eleanor for a bottle of their fantastic Malbec, but she suggested we try a bottle of Chateau Musar, a beautiful red Lebanese wine. My friend who is a bit of a wine boff started to get very excited at the thought of this and when it came well let’s say it was like Christmas morning! The wine was incredible and accompanied the steak so well it was delicious. So for just £65 per couple we had this amazing Steak De Boufe with a bottle of outstanding red wine. Thank you to the fantastic chef and to the amazing and brilliant manager Eleonar for an unbelievable meal. We will all be back very soon Peter & Emma Greenwood

These are the best vegan burgers and believe me we have sampled many good ones! Choice of beetroot chick pea masala or mushroom (our favourite) please do more often. Accompanied with beautiful salads - love it! There is also a lovely curry option on the hot plate.

I’ve literally just received my breakfast (ordered on deliveroo) and OMG I was not expecting the food to be THIS GOOD. I’ve only had a couple bites and had to post a review. This is my new favourite place to order from. The food is really well seasoned and arrived within 25 mins of ordering. The price is very reasonable for the portion size which is a bonus. TRY IT! You will not regret this.

A fantastic little coffee shop just by the station. The coffee is roasted by El Cafetal and the variety of beans is impressive. Consistently some of the best coffee I have had. Their cappucino is phenomenal. A small but high quality range of toasties - and I would recommend trying their empenadas which are cooked on site with a great side salsa. Highly recommend the place.

For videos Insta @Number63_bad Words can’t even express how upset and disgusted I am with the level of service and how myself and family were treated by this restaurant. After booking our reservation a week in advance me and my family were excited to try a local restaurant for my daughter 18th birthday. I have never experienced such bad service on all levels. They went above and beyond to ruin my daughters 18th birthday. We arrived at the restaurant at 7pm. We were a group of six, apart from us there was only one other solo customer in the restaurant. It took nearly 1 hour for use to receive our starters. The waitress seemed disengaged and unbothered about serving us, and had a attitude that she was almost doing us a favour. We were then told 30 minutes after ordering that one of our mains was unavailable and then waited a 30 minutes further for half of our mains to arrive with no sides. At this point my daughter and mother who had booked the restaurant, explained very gracefully how upset we were with the massive gaps between the food arriving and that 2 hours in we still hadn’t received our whole order. When had a booked karaoke afterwords and had to cancel it. The waitress explained that we should had sent our order in advance but at no point did the restaurant message to advise this. We were offered complementary drink which we refused as we were driving. But we’re constantly pushed on us and continued to refuse. By the time the last meal had arrived half of us had cold food, and there were still no sides. The vibe and meal was completely ruined at this point and my daughter left the restaurant crying in the rain. We left my brother to pay the bill, he paid for the starters and drinks only as we didn’t end up being able to eat any of our food. We were going to cut our losses and go back to my brothers to have the cake. But after leaving the restaurant we realised we’d forgotten my daughter’s gift’s so returned to collect them a few moments later. The restaurant refused to return the items accusing us of threatening them which was completely false. They said they were worried about their safety but continuously open the door insulting me and still refusing to return the items which contained a card with £800 in it. We asked if they could place them out side the door which they refused. We then had to call the police to assist us in getting her gifts back. While waiting for them to arrive a group of their friends turned up to continue intimidate us to leave without her gifts. One of them was a huge security looking male as you can see in one of my pictures. Once the police arrived after over a hour of waiting, they were confused to why they hadn’t return our items. And haded them over. We were then told we would be breathalysed as the restaurant had said we’d been drinking and wait a further 30mins for the machine to do that, which we obviously passed as this was another lie. I had baked that whole day a birthday cake which was not able to be eaten. And my daughter’s 18th that was meant to be a special moment of her turning 18 was completely trashed. I feel the behaviour of this restaurant was spiteful, revengeful and petty in reaction to us not being happy with the service. I have uploaded videos of what happened onto a insta account where you can see a part of what happened, I hope it’s enough to counter act the false accusations that they were the ones being treated badly and worried for the safety of their staff as you can see clearly that this is not true. Great bright and airy place. 5 mins walk from Richmond Park, kingston gate. Delicious cakes plus Indian savoury snacks. Run by a very professional and friendly lady. Have been back twice this week.

We used to use this restaurant quite frequently. It then changed hands and the new place was a disaster. New Raj came back and the food was very good but now seems to be shut again! (17/04/2019) I do hope that it is only shut for refurb!

Had the chicken-liver wrap with pomegranate molasses. Interesting flavours and very delicious. Will definitely be back to try more of their food.

I have moved from New Malden, but when I lived there I visited this restaurant at least once a week. The food tastes so good, prices are reasonable and the owner will do anything to make his customers happy. I can't recommend highly enough. Goa nd see for yourself!

Super food, great friendly place to take the family. Great facilities, squash, tennis, padel and a gym. Superb food and great bar.

Amazing sandwiches and coffee! Expensive at first sight, but packed with delicious ingredients and enough for two! Well worth a visit.

We'd tried Incognito in Winchester and loved it soo much we couldn't wait to try Chadwick's London counterparts. We started downstairs which is Chadwick's home of Zoology for a drink before heading upstairs to Incognito. The drinks at Chadwick's are beautiful and this bar has a more nature/natural type vibe. While the cocktails are beautiful and nice-think edible flours and lots of fruit flavours/infusions they are not the OTT, ultra extravagance of Incognito.

sono tornata in questa cittadina , avendo amici che abitano a Kingston , e sinceramente non hai voglia di andare a Londra nella caotica ma bellissima, c'è veramente di tutto , a partire da questa piazza che si popola dei cittadini, tutte le mattine ci sono bancherelle che offrono di tutto dal mangiare da strada , la frutta fresca e altro, insomma da visitare
