sono tornata in questa cittadina , avendo amici che abitano a Kingston , e sinceramente non hai voglia di andare a Londra nella caotica ma bellissima, c'è veramente di tutto , a partire da questa piazza che si popola dei cittadini, tutte le mattine ci sono bancherelle che offrono di tutto dal mangiare da strada , la frutta fresca e altro, insomma da visitare

Saw these guys in the ancient market place in Kingston Upon Thames a couple of weeks ago and they piqued my interest a really funkily designed van, flanked, either side of the hatch with some tropical plants, a patch of grass (like a calm oasis) and some colourful seating for your(my) ;) convenience. I decided on the triple, 1 of each filling. Fish taco (amaaaazing) 24 hrs marinated steak in smokey paprika cumin loveliness and the Yacatan chicken with some ridiculosly tasty peanutty sauce. Really, really and dare I say (again) Really delicious Latin street food!!

Hollyfield House 22 Hollyfield Road Hollyfield House, Surbiton, Kingston upon Thames KT5 9AL EnglandA busy café serving the community around Hollyfield Road, Alexandra Drive and King Charles Road in Surbiton, but principally catering to the scores of people who use the King Charles Centre, within which it is housed. It is busiest at lunchtimes, serving slices of wholesome quiche and hot soup, but it also offers the full café range of biscuits and cakes, sandwiches, filled rolls and filled jacket potatoes. Entrance is from the car park of the centre at the corner of Hollyfield and King Charles. The café fills a second purpose; it helps people of all abilities – via adult social care – to learn how to cater, learn about food hygiene and customer service. It means you get even more attention… and words of praise for the excellent work the staff do are appreciated even more! Open Mon-Fri from 9.30am to 4pm

75 Maple RoadStay away- walked in on Surbiton market day to have breakfast. Waiter asked how many people and we said two. He said we can sit anywhere. As we were sitting down at a 4 seat table, the manager stormed up to us and very abruptly stated that we cannot sit there as it is for four. The place was nearly empty and many other four seaters were taken up by 2 people. He wanted us to sit right next to the door in the doorway! Half an hour we walked past and still empty tables. Rude and not focused on customers. We usually make it worthwhile for the places we go to by leaving large tips if the service is good. They lost out today.

Kingston MarketFood is great. However had a weird experience with the staff. They overcharged me, when I realised I asked them to explain how much the drink I bought was and it was evident I was overcharged. When I asked for the correct amount of money back they got really weird and annoyed about it and gave me my refund back in 5ps and 20ps (which is really annoying). I then asked if i could get a card refund as I paid w card and they were just rlly rude about it. If you can’t do card refunds why don’t you have pound coins to give an adequate refund. It felt super weird and shady
