“Smash” burger is 4 inches thick. Bhagies taste like nothing. Chips need salt. Service slow despite more staff than customers.

Nice selection of cocktails, menu is handed to you in what looks like a child's Ladybird book! Riverside & interior seating. Seem to have events (ie Vinyl nights, MarioKart tournaments etc) every week or so. Staff were friendly enough. Slightly on the pricey side, however taking the riverside location into consideration it probably fits.

The food was amazing, service was excellent, and the selection of alcohol were top. 👍🏼

Woody's is a super trendy pub with unique interior decor (check skateboard seating booth with skate park style floor, mannequin covered in lights & bath). Just went for a cold beer & sat outside on wooden seating/table to enjoy views of river Thames. Received warm welcome & good service. Toilets well maintained. Accessible for wheelchair users although not sure if same for toilets. Recommend.

It's great to have a drink by the river on a sunny day, but drinks are a bit pricey. Great place for Inclusivity and makes you feel very welcome.

Walked in Woodys lunch with friend .I didn’t order off menu .Checked with girl at bar .Asked what type of chips they serve .She held up her fingers to show me size huh .And said “WE ALSO do SWEET potatoe fry’s “which I ordered with Vegan burger .The burger was a mess fell apart .The fry’s Covered in ton of SALT.I complained of the SALT on my fry’s .Very rude waiter “It says on menu ,salty fry’s “Ivexplained I didn’t see menu ,I ordered from girl at bar .Saying she should of told me they are covered in salt .Had I known I would not of ordered them .We all know salt &pepper mills are on table for those that want can put on their food .”Again rudely said “it’s on menu “? I say ordered from bar ,girl should of informed these chips are salty “told him how I don’t put salt all over my food “He replied “oh dietary requirement,you should of told her “!Huh ?? Then continued to argue with me .”I explained NO where in the thousands of restaurants iv visited has any body covered my food with tons of salt “..”Then told me it’s standard flavouring “!! We all know salt is used in Cooking .But NOT thrown all over your food when served !He continued to talk down to me &walked off in a huff !! Also the staff here are just concerned with having fun ,screeching around .The staff made us in welcome &uncomfortable.Like we were an inconvenience not paying customers.Thanks Woodys staff ,for ruining our lunch paid for from hard earned money

Just had drinks here while watching the swans on the Thames. Very relaxing and delicious frozen margaritas! Couldn't wish for more.

My favourite haunt in Kingston. I love the diversity and inclusive vibe of this place. The staff are always lovely and the location on the river is perfect, especially in good weather. Also, the vegan food options are amazing 😍🤩

Had early dinner ci sitting of burger and different dishes like tacos and dirty fries. Ordered a bottle of wine, too. The food was fairly good , and my husband loved the burger. The bill was £72 with £8 gratuity. I'm not sure that overall, the meal was good value for money.

Nice place, with adequate prices, the cleanliness is a little neglected

Very unique, interesting and particular pub, very school/college vibe hangout style. Some of the deco among others, is having a skateboard chair booths. Of course you can enjoy the view of the river in their dedicated terrace. It’s worth mentioning that is Pet friendly. Certainly in the summer it’s a place you cannot miss.

Lovely location and staff were super nice my only gripe was they were expensive compared to other places in the area i.e. £17.20 for 2 pints & a packet of crisps apparently they charged £1 for a splash of lime cordial in one of the pints which I thought was a bit excessive!

Nice place but didn't have any bitter on tap. Plenty of the modern pale ale types of beer, though.

We had my daughter’s 21st birthday party at Woodys. The staff couldn’t have been more chilled and helpful. Everything ran so smoothly and we had a wonderful, memorable evening! Want to say a big thank you to the 3 staff members from Saturday night. Many thanks 🙏

Woody's is a nice place for cocktails and mocktails and not expensive at all.The owner has a lovely doggy too.They do comedy nights on some weekdays.

Just had the worst roast dinner ever. The roast potatoes were burnt as was the pork. Couldn’t cut either as both were rock hard. Had to ask twice for some apple sauce plus extra utensils for the celebration cake we had for a friend’s birthday lunch. This cake was brought out after most people had already finished their coffee. The table was booked for 2pm yet didn’t get any food until after 4pm. Did not complain as we were invited by friends and didn’t want to embarrass them. Avoid this place as food and service terrible.

Cool vibe, you're right on the water. I enjoyed the atmosphere overall. My concern was with the service and food. We understand it is Vegan... but we sat and waited 45 minutes for our food. Only a few other patrons were inside. And Vegan food typically is not a long process. We had to ask a couple of times.for the status of our meals. One of the two servers/bartenders seemed to show concern but the other couldn't be bothered. Food finally arrived. Nachos consist of: tortilla chips, canned salsa and frozen guacamole along with a spoonful of sour cream. Everything store brought. If I'm paying a higher £ and the nachos described as the "featured" item - can't you make some house salsa or guacamole?? For the long wait, lackluster service, and the grossly overpriced food - there are better options in the area.

The location is nice lots of Canada geese swans nice river people boating across it but the food I'm afraid is not burger pretty overcooked chips on the other hand undercooked some were pretty hard given that Thier so many other choices I don't think I'll be coming here in the future

There were 6 of us having dinner, in two orders ordered one after the other. the first took 15 minutes, the second 50 minutes.

Cool place. Young vegan vibes. If you’re a fan of Budweiser Budvar (yes, the original one), then a) they have it on tap, and b) they serve it in the iconic glassware. The service a bit slow but friendly and always with the smile.

Yum! Sat on the patio on a beautiful day. Great service and delicious vegan food! I would highly recommend the fried "chicken". I had a tasty beer with peach flavour! So yummy!

Whilst this does appear to be one of the better places in Kingston, the service was so slow and stand-offish that we didn't actually get to sample any food or drink. Waited patiently to be served but the staff appeared to swerve around us. Shame, may try again next time we're here

Great outdoor riverside location to boat and people watch

We would like to thank the Ladies at the service, all of them!!! Always with a genuine smile on their faces! Food we went for the nachos and fries and was very tasteful. Nice selection of IPA. Next to the water nice!!! First time we managed to find a seat and for sure it will not be our last time every visit in Kingston area.. Keep it up guys. 👏👏👏👏👏👏

Great they have Jubel on tap my only complaint are the toilets are really really grim!

Predominantly a student bar vibe, it does attract a wide audience of those looking to take advantage of the riverside suntrap without the stuffiness of the pub gardens further up the river towards Kingston. Inside it's clean and bright, pipe benches and mismatched seating. There's a nice selection of beers on tap - Lost and Grounded "Wanna Go To The Sun" flies out of here, as well as Budvar which I think has a deal on midweek. The Gipsy Hill always tastes a little funky so I tend to swerve it, consistently so, I'm assuming it's the beer. The cocktails are excellent, boozy slushies and spicy margaritas are dangerously drinkable, and leave you a little wobbly without breaking the bank. Food wise they've changed it up, they had the Carribbean Kitchen menu a month or so ago and now it's Vegan Junk food which looked banging when being brought out. Speaking of which, it's mostly table service if you sit outside, which is nice not having to move from the sun drenched perch. The staff are kind and attentive, quick to make recommendations, and manage well with the highs and lows of busy periods. I've not done many "bar" posts on here but after years of just walking past Woody's, I'm happy I've been able to indulge and appreciate it the last 6 months or so. A good spot to head after devouring a Poor Boys round the corner, or to break up the walk.

The location is so perfect along the river. Seats outside get filled very quickly with the nice weather. I've only been for drinks a few times and the service has always been friendly.

I love Kingston and when we are there, we always go to Woodys. Great pub along the Thames.

We stopped off for some drinks by the riverside. It has a lively atmosphere. Table service with attentive staff. Even though it was busy, we didn't feel rushed.

Was so excited to try this vegan independent pub's food with a friend!!! (I'm vegan) Table service and lovely river view but staff weren't very friendly and the food was overpriced. The fried crispy mushrooms were DELICIOUS but the portion was starter sized for £11 and it didn't come with chips. My friend's nachos were cold, didn't have chilli non carne or beans on them and had cheap salsa and brown guacamole on them. Wouldn't recommend. Nice chips but also expensive for £4. Won't be coming back sadly :(

Put some rubber or felt on the toilet door to stop it slamming every time someone goes in or out! Drove us mad! Love it otherwise:)

Lovely bustling location, awesome outdoor space to enjoy a vegan meal or a few pints right next to the river. The staff were really friendly and helpful. It is also dog friendly 🐶 Also had a great bit of graffiti in the bathroom (see picture) 😃

Terrible service - the staff were busy talking to their friends. Terrible drinks - wrong drink made and not in correct glass. I ordered gin and lemonade and she made it with soda water. She did change it free of charge which was something. Terrible toilet hygiene - speaks for itself No last orders bell just a blunt we’re not serving drinks. We will not be coming back.

Can't go wrong with a hot dog from Woody's. Would also definitely recommend getting the loaded chips. The staff are incredibly friendly and the atmosphere is really good.

Ordered 2 decaffeinated coffees..cost £6! For granules! Awful taste. I would give NO stars if I could. Definitely won't be going back.

Low stars because small portion and over spiced It was ok. I was really looking forward to going here. The naked chicken box was almost a child's portion and the chicken was way to spicy. Garlic prawns were adorable though and rice and peas to die for.

Been here a few times for drinks. Visited last Friday and had a good time. They have a good selection of drinks, beers specially. The service was top notch and very attentive. We tried a couple of starters as well and they were really good.

Honestly, had to leave a review because the hotdog was so bad. Considering it was the main feature of the menu you would think they would be decent. Completely stale roll, ‘brisket sausage’ sounded promising. I’m baffled as to how a sausage made from brisket could be so dry. Next to no sauce. Had to ask for ketchup to make it edible. Drinks were good and staff were friendly but yeah, food completely let it down

Staff friendly , place lovely, my BF loved the milkshake and when he came all over Coventry again, we went to Woody for a milkshake and a breakfast for me. We got nothing. Chef was sick, and they had some issues with the shakers. Too bad....Next day, the same. 🙄

Staff friendly and have a smile but we had fries and sauce was bad .we ordered mayo and ketchup but I didn't like them they smelled egg.Beers were great and location is very quiet and nice .

As far as sitting by the river and drinking it’s fine but I would never ever come back here again. The food was disgusting. Under cooked slimey, soggy hotdog and chips so hard they were crunchy. Waiter was also extremely rude and petty that 2 of our friends that joined us (and ordered food there) told them to go stand outside the ropes to finish the drinks they brought in from the next pub! Unbelievable. Lost for words. Shame I can’t give a zero rating

Basic, no frills, tables and chairs in a room type place. Pretty chilled. Riverside frontage if you can get a table. Young vibe. Quite a few students. More a vibe for drinks than eats.

Very nice river view and friendly service

Distinct lack of wood which for names sake was a bit of a let down. They did allow me to run to B&Q and bring back some ply wood which was a nice gesture on their part.

Came here for a quick evening drink. Table service only which was fine by us, but it took ages for anyone to take our order, despite there being lots of staff behind the bar and seemingly not very busy. When we were ready for the bill I caught the eye of one of the bar staff (we were sitting opposite) only to be completely ignored! The bill came to £18 for a G&T and half a pint. It's a shame because the location is great but we just didn't feel welcome or acknowledged.

Nice restaurant/cafe serving Vegan options. Tables inside and out opposite the Thames. Easy access and accessibility. Alcohol and coffee served. Servings are generally generous. Dog friendly. Friendly staff and reasonable prices with a varied menu. Parking available nearby in the car parks. It's a nice spot with benches outside when the weather is good. I would recommend.

Excellent place with a great River view. They have tables outside as well so you can enjoy the view outside in nice weather. There is also a nice atmosphere inside, good music and fun! Staff is also very friendly.
