Nice place but didn't have any bitter on tap. Plenty of the modern pale ale types of beer, though.

We had my daughter’s 21st birthday party at Woodys. The staff couldn’t have been more chilled and helpful. Everything ran so smoothly and we had a wonderful, memorable evening! Want to say a big thank you to the 3 staff members from Saturday night. Many thanks 🙏

Woody's is a nice place for cocktails and mocktails and not expensive at all.The owner has a lovely doggy too.They do comedy nights on some weekdays.

Just had the worst roast dinner ever. The roast potatoes were burnt as was the pork. Couldn’t cut either as both were rock hard. Had to ask twice for some apple sauce plus extra utensils for the celebration cake we had for a friend’s birthday lunch. This cake was brought out after most people had already finished their coffee. The table was booked for 2pm yet didn’t get any food until after 4pm. Did not complain as we were invited by friends and didn’t want to embarrass them. Avoid this place as food and service terrible.

Cool vibe, you're right on the water. I enjoyed the atmosphere overall. My concern was with the service and food. We understand it is Vegan... but we sat and waited 45 minutes for our food. Only a few other patrons were inside. And Vegan food typically is not a long process. We had to ask a couple of times.for the status of our meals. One of the two servers/bartenders seemed to show concern but the other couldn't be bothered. Food finally arrived. Nachos consist of: tortilla chips, canned salsa and frozen guacamole along with a spoonful of sour cream. Everything store brought. If I'm paying a higher £ and the nachos described as the "featured" item - can't you make some house salsa or guacamole?? For the long wait, lackluster service, and the grossly overpriced food - there are better options in the area.

The location is nice lots of Canada geese swans nice river people boating across it but the food I'm afraid is not burger pretty overcooked chips on the other hand undercooked some were pretty hard given that Thier so many other choices I don't think I'll be coming here in the future

There were 6 of us having dinner, in two orders ordered one after the other. the first took 15 minutes, the second 50 minutes.

Cool place. Young vegan vibes. If you’re a fan of Budweiser Budvar (yes, the original one), then a) they have it on tap, and b) they serve it in the iconic glassware. The service a bit slow but friendly and always with the smile.

Haven’t had food here so no comment. But they do Bear Island beer. Excellent beer

The worst meal out that I can remember

Yum! Sat on the patio on a beautiful day. Great service and delicious vegan food! I would highly recommend the fried "chicken". I had a tasty beer with peach flavour! So yummy!

Whilst this does appear to be one of the better places in Kingston, the service was so slow and stand-offish that we didn't actually get to sample any food or drink. Waited patiently to be served but the staff appeared to swerve around us. Shame, may try again next time we're here

We would like to thank the Ladies at the service, all of them!!! Always with a genuine smile on their faces! Food we went for the nachos and fries and was very tasteful. Nice selection of IPA. Next to the water nice!!! First time we managed to find a seat and for sure it will not be our last time every visit in Kingston area.. Keep it up guys. 👏👏👏👏👏👏

Predominantly a student bar vibe, it does attract a wide audience of those looking to take advantage of the riverside suntrap without the stuffiness of the pub gardens further up the river towards Kingston. Inside it's clean and bright, pipe benches and mismatched seating. There's a nice selection of beers on tap - Lost and Grounded "Wanna Go To The Sun" flies out of here, as well as Budvar which I think has a deal on midweek. The Gipsy Hill always tastes a little funky so I tend to swerve it, consistently so, I'm assuming it's the beer. The cocktails are excellent, boozy slushies and spicy margaritas are dangerously drinkable, and leave you a little wobbly without breaking the bank. Food wise they've changed it up, they had the Carribbean Kitchen menu a month or so ago and now it's Vegan Junk food which looked banging when being brought out. Speaking of which, it's mostly table service if you sit outside, which is nice not having to move from the sun drenched perch. The staff are kind and attentive, quick to make recommendations, and manage well with the highs and lows of busy periods. I've not done many "bar" posts on here but after years of just walking past Woody's, I'm happy I've been able to indulge and appreciate it the last 6 months or so. A good spot to head after devouring a Poor Boys round the corner, or to break up the walk.

The location is so perfect along the river. Seats outside get filled very quickly with the nice weather. I've only been for drinks a few times and the service has always been friendly.

I love Kingston and when we are there, we always go to Woodys. Great pub along the Thames.

We stopped off for some drinks by the riverside. It has a lively atmosphere. Table service with attentive staff. Even though it was busy, we didn't feel rushed.

Was so excited to try this vegan independent pub's food with a friend!!! (I'm vegan) Table service and lovely river view but staff weren't very friendly and the food was overpriced. The fried crispy mushrooms were DELICIOUS but the portion was starter sized for £11 and it didn't come with chips. My friend's nachos were cold, didn't have chilli non carne or beans on them and had cheap salsa and brown guacamole on them. Wouldn't recommend. Nice chips but also expensive for £4. Won't be coming back sadly :(

Put some rubber or felt on the toilet door to stop it slamming every time someone goes in or out! Drove us mad! Love it otherwise:)

Lovely bustling location, awesome outdoor space to enjoy a vegan meal or a few pints right next to the river. The staff were really friendly and helpful. It is also dog friendly 🐶 Also had a great bit of graffiti in the bathroom (see picture) 😃

Can't go wrong with a hot dog from Woody's. Would also definitely recommend getting the loaded chips. The staff are incredibly friendly and the atmosphere is really good.

Ordered 2 decaffeinated coffees..cost £6! For granules! Awful taste. I would give NO stars if I could. Definitely won't be going back.

Low stars because small portion and over spiced It was ok. I was really looking forward to going here. The naked chicken box was almost a child's portion and the chicken was way to spicy. Garlic prawns were adorable though and rice and peas to die for.

Been here a few times for drinks. Visited last Friday and had a good time. They have a good selection of drinks, beers specially. The service was top notch and very attentive. We tried a couple of starters as well and they were really good.

Honestly, had to leave a review because the hotdog was so bad. Considering it was the main feature of the menu you would think they would be decent. Completely stale roll, ‘brisket sausage’ sounded promising. I’m baffled as to how a sausage made from brisket could be so dry. Next to no sauce. Had to ask for ketchup to make it edible. Drinks were good and staff were friendly but yeah, food completely let it down

Staff friendly , place lovely, my BF loved the milkshake and when he came all over Coventry again, we went to Woody for a milkshake and a breakfast for me. We got nothing. Chef was sick, and they had some issues with the shakers. Too bad....Next day, the same. 🙄

Staff friendly and have a smile but we had fries and sauce was bad .we ordered mayo and ketchup but I didn't like them they smelled egg.Beers were great and location is very quiet and nice .

Perfectly positions and great food. Service could have been better. Got orders wrong and took a bit of time to get simple things however wouldn't put me off going back. Still a good restaurant.

Very nice river view and friendly service

Distinct lack of wood which for names sake was a bit of a let down. They did allow me to run to B&Q and bring back some ply wood which was a nice gesture on their part.

Nice restaurant/cafe serving Vegan options. Tables inside and out opposite the Thames. Easy access and accessibility. Alcohol and coffee served. Servings are generally generous. Dog friendly. Friendly staff and reasonable prices with a varied menu. Parking available nearby in the car parks. It's a nice spot with benches outside when the weather is good. I would recommend.

100% recommend the oat milk Oreo milkshake, it was yummy. Great selection of craft beers on tap and canned in the fridge. Variety of seating options inside and out.

A unique bar with a good view of the river. We stopped for a drink inside and found the staff friendly and the atmosphere very chilled. They have a nice outside seating section but gets really busy on sunny days. They have a small food menu and offer milkshakes! Would recommend stopping in.

Service - Great friendly staff, attentive and quick, always with a smile. Drinks - Good selection of beer, cocktails and shakes, Frozen Margaritas and Woody's pilsner recommended. Food - Only eaten here once but big portions, great taste and excellent selection for vegan/vegetarians. Overall great choice for a riverside venue with good views and fantastic vibe.

Great location to hang out with your friends, but nothing special. Could use a better cocktails list or just a more varied selection of spirits.

By the river very informal bar/kitchen that markets itself as kid-friendly. Tepid menu only has hot dogs which are in a large Wurst style and have little variety whilst being wrapped in cheap bread sprinkled in sesame seeds found in Greggs. The length of time the food is cooked makes one think something special or creative is to be brought to the table (especially as the £10 includes little else in terms of extras). Chips are £4 or £5.50 with a tiny amount of melted cheese - but we’re tasty. Meat within hot dog was dry and tasteless. Milkshakes excellent. Side order of nachos with melted cheese is done better and cheaper at a Wetherspoons. Doors open all the time so forced to be fully clothed indoors. Service non-existent but still included in bill (12.5%) without our permission… £125. Spend an extra £50 and could get nice 2-course meal elsewhere for 2 adults + 3 kids. Won’t come back - this is not a family place but a bar with bland snacks on the side which is probably good for a night time drink that should not be marketed as anything else.

A lovely spot to sit in the sun with a glass of wine along side the thames. Food was tasty and good value for money .

Had a lovely lunchtime snack + drinks with friends. The staff were very friendly and we had a lovely time. There’s a seating table where you can sit in a bathtub covered in a pillow. Guess where I sat 🙃

Nice outside space for drinking into the evening

Outdoor seating next to the river, but a hop,skip and a jump from Kingston ancient Market, Bentals centre. Had an ice cold coke with my grandson as we watched flocks of waterbirds land and takeoff on the Thames. Excellent table service. Rustic, casual, friendly. Lovely experience.

All good but the music is a bit too quiet for my taste.
