A busy café serving the community around Hollyfield Road, Alexandra Drive and King Charles Road in Surbiton, but principally catering to the scores of people who use the King Charles Centre, within which it is housed. It is busiest at lunchtimes, serving slices of wholesome quiche and hot soup, but it also offers the full café range of biscuits and cakes, sandwiches, filled rolls and filled jacket potatoes. Entrance is from the car park of the centre at the corner of Hollyfield and King Charles. The café fills a second purpose; it helps people of all abilities – via adult social care – to learn how to cater, learn about food hygiene and customer service. It means you get even more attention… and words of praise for the excellent work the staff do are appreciated even more! Open Mon-Fri from 9.30am to 4pm

We had lovely girls night out, our waitress was lovely Chloe and she served us very well and with smile and was checking on our orders and was very pleasant. Thank you Chloe.

The food was awful, bland and stale. The manager was also extremely rude and this place is not kid friendly. Having been to plenty of pubs in the area this is the only one to make us feel unwelcome with a baby. So much so that i didn’t feel able to feed my baby and we had to rush our food and leave.

Great spot for GF options! Had the arepa and chips. Note, they do use the same hot plate for wraps and arepas - ask to wipe down before use to minimize gluten cross contamination risks.
