I never write reviews, but I had such a horrible experience from the manageress "Jodie". So I want to write about it here. I often go to Pho (wimbledon and central london) and I LOVE it there.. but this was my FIRST TIME to the KINGSTON branch. I was very upset from the rude service that we had. She was constantly curt. Every answer she gave was abrupt and felt rude). She was very unattentive. (back to our table), and I had to get up to get other staff to help (as she was unhelpful). With the receipt at the end, she said she cant give us a receipt from her payment machine. (But actually, every Pho I have visited elsewhere always give me a receipt from the card reader machine at the table immediately when I pay). She lied to me and said that the machine doesnt give receipts!! Eventually after I demanded a receipt, she issued it from her till. I also asked for all our food to come out together. but it came out very far apart.. I was waiting and waiting, and my food was getting cold. Generally, her rude attitude completely spoiled my meal with my son (whom I was visiting). I did not enjoy this meal at all. I spent £71 on the two of us and felt completely upset and irritated from the manageress's curt and unattentive service. We arrived to the restaurant at about 8:50pm and left at about 10:pm. Also: side note: a bit upset they ran out of Summer Rolls, but that's nobody's fault. But doesnt help when the service was so absolutely rude. (summer rolls is part of the vietnamese experience for me). Even when I got home it was on my mind how rude she was. Again, sorry for the angry review, but this has really bothered me. I dont understand how such rude people can work as a manageress.

Good Evening, I am a resident at Ewell Road, which is located next to your restaurant. I tried to email using your website but that email address is in fact invalid. I wished to formally lodge a complaint regarding the noise activity and pure lack of respect being shown at the back of your premises. This is the back of your restaurant, but is the front door on many homes, along with my bedroom being located less than 20 feet from your property. Every single night without fail, there are numerous people shouting, slamming and making excessive amount of noise very late into the evening - for instance tonight at 11 o’clock there is slamming, banging, shouting and a gate being dragged across a concrete floor. Less than three weeks ago, I approached one of your employees at the back gate and very calmly asked that some respect be shown, even showing him where my bedroom is located and how close it is to the property. I asked employees to stop dragging the gate and simply lift it when closing it late at night, and stop the excessive noise and being extremely loud including shouting for no reason. Despite my attempt to do this every single night, we are dealing with excessive noise at disgusting hours. My partner wakes up at 5 o’clock in the morning to go to work so is in bed way before this time. Despite this, she is unable to go to sleep properly because of the ridiculous amount of noise your employees are making. I am fully aware that this is disrupting multiple residence and I wish to advise that this immediately be taken into account and respect be shown at the back of your property. If this continues, we will be forced to take matters further through different avenues, along with attending your restaurant during working hours to complain. We fully understand there may be some form of noise, but the manner that is currently being done is absolutely atrocious and a pure disregard for all the residents that live next to your property. Dragging a gate across concrete floor and shouting at 11 at night is purely unacceptable.

I went on 18/04/2024, I had some sour chicken with noodles to take away. They already had a pot with OLD NOODLES that they did put on the microwave to heat, they served me that with the chicken, and when I was going to pay, I wanted to pay with cash. I have payed with cash before, but the Indian girl who attended me was very rude, she just didn't just gave me old noodles on a microwave, she also was FORCING Me to pay with my card, something that I didn't want to do, she said that she only could take cash if I had the exact amount of money. I was reluctant to pay because I didn't have pennies, so then she said that she could accept the half in cash and half in card, contradicting the fist thing she said. She's just too lazy to take cash. Rude and lazy staff, and what's worse, MICROWAVED FOOD. If I wanted to eat microwaved food, I would make it at home. A cheap noodles made with boiled water in 3 minutes are better than the trash they served me. Then I went to wasabi to get the rest of my food, and I didn't only choose if I wanted to pay with cash or card, I had way better food and better attention. I'm never going to kokoro again.

First visit Mutton rolls. Fish cutlets. Seeni sambal Coconut sambal wattilapung. All Just perfect. We travelled up from Horsham inwest sussex a long queue of sri lankans outside shop gave us a clear indication that this was a popular place for Ceylon food (Sri Lankan) I'm old school and upon entering the premises was greeted with the amazing smells that I grew up with in 1960s Ceylon. All the dishes from my childhood. OMG ! I WAS IN HEAVEN..now a firm favourite on my shopping list. Brilliant, my English wife just loved the many dishes on display and the smiling friendly faces of the staff.. Thank you

I gave this place a chance after working in the area for years. The food I got was bland, cold and was thrown into the bin. I went in and asked the server to recommend a dish. The guy was uninterested and took a long time to handle my order and let alone my food. When he'd finally prepared it, I asked him for it to be spicy and he gave me the mildest chilli sauce and on top of that my food was actually COLD. I went back to the restaurant speak to the manager and came here to leave a negative review. I was not at all surprised to see all of these other negative reviews. I explained to him about the my bad experience and he started to deny it. I then showed him and other customers the poor reviews and he got upset and began to harras me so I left. He then followed me and even tried to get pushy to intimidate me! He finally left me alone and went back in. I don't even want a refund. He will be out of business soon enough.
