The best restaurants serving Indian food in East of England

The flavours were nice but my main course was cold. The food was served very quickly so does it mean not cooked fresh..yes I think so. For an Indian, it was an expensive experience.

We go to the Moonlight quite often and love all the staff there. Last night my father in law and 30 of his friends and family celebrated his 80th birthday. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was, as always, outstanding and the staff were attentive and courteous. Really made it a very memorable evening xxx

So, I've been here a fair few times now, and honestly, it never disappoints. We booked a table on Saturday – it was quiet, sure, but the staff? Polite, courteous, the lot. Proper nice. I went for the chicken tikka masala, partner had the paneer pasanda – both, absolutely spot on. Delicious. Then, the owner pops over for a chat to make sure everything’s alright, and guess what? Turns out both our daughters are in the same year at school. Small world, eh? And to top it off, he gives us a complimentary drink and starts chatting about how they make their curries – which is right up my street because I love a bit of curry cooking myself. Said I could even pop by one day to see how it’s all done. Honestly, can't recommend it enough. It’s now our go-to in Huntingdon – top-notch curries, brilliant service, the works. Super Indian restaurant, which my wife, myself and our friends regularly visit for an evening meal. Large menu of dishes which are always nicely cooked. Excellent service from all staff. Very pleasant atmosphere in which to eat with friends

Lovely food and extra early so I didn’t have tip ready for driver, will make it up next time, please try and get Salmon back on the menu.

Not very busy on a Tuesday night. Welcoming fire burning and a great choice of ciders too.

Seriously….. $9.00 for this????!!!!! We are nurses here at Hilton Head Hospital and wanted to get something good to eat. 4 of us ordered the cheese dip and this is what you bring us? Absolutely ridiculous!!!!

No longer the mayflower Indian restaurant, its under new management as a Bangladesh restaurant, wild ducks. Second night so a lot of learning on the job...... Food ok, tasty , with different foid offerings but rookie errors ie. Music to loud, Food not served at once, cold plates , lights very bright so lacking ambiance. However, staff welcomed feedback so hopefully improvements will take place . Pricing very reasonable in these inflationary times, sizzling wild duck and chicken Kathmandu particularly tasty. Will be back.

Best Indian in the area by a large margin. Food always arrives hot and full of flavour. Staff are friendly and always deliver on time.

We have been coming here for a long time whilst pregnant to now my toddler sitting in a chair having dinner. The staff are amazing and always friendly. the food is always on time and tasty. the restaurant is clean and has the right ambience not too quite not too loud. perfect restaurant any day of the week.
