Not nice madras, but unfortunately didn’t like the lamb tikka biryani (pretty sweet taste) also the Peshawari naan wasn’t nice at all unfortunately. Also ordered meat samosas n got vegetable samosas instead, popadoms were not fresh. I don’t usually order lamb tikka biryani or peshwari naan from ere, I do from elsewhere, but thought I’d give it a try, unfortunately won’t be ordering that again. Was disappointed on the food this time, I order DESI once a week n sometimes twice a week.

Firstly I’d like start by saying the staff were incredibly polite and welcoming as we were new to the place and they made us feel like we were at home. They were very patient with us when it came to ordering the food and when recommending to us what to eat they were very kind and helpful. Overall would highly recommend to anyone craving authentic Indian dishes absolutely amazing food. Well done guys keep up the good work mashallah very nice food.

Had the best meal here on a Saturday evening and couldn’t believe how fantastic the food was. This is definitely in my top two Indian restaurants listing along with Pavel’s in Brighton. The lamb samosas were amazing but the lamb Korai was exceptional. If I lived in Ware, I would probably eat here on a very regular basis! I have to say, the staff were fantastic and very attentive.

Hotel i stayed in didn't do food i was particularly interested in. This was 5 minutes walk away and I love indian food. I looked at the reviews and thoughts been a long day not too many negatives so let's give it a whirl. Restaurant was empty first in. I was away on business. It was early ish 6.15 so not surprised. Great greeting by the young man on the desk. Table for one. Didn't want poppadoms so had starter Chicken Chat. Absolutely gorgeous. Had my fave beer Bangla. Main course Chicken Jalfazi Mushroom Rice and Chappatti. The food was excellent. The restaurant stated to fill with indian/ Asian people so o knew i had made a good choice. The one thing that did supruse me was the orders for take away & collection it was non stop. Would i reccomend.... definitely without a doubt one of the best meals I have had. Credit to all staff especially the chef Next time in Watford I will be back but will bring others with me.

I was quite disappointed with the food. The naan and paratha were noticeably burnt, and the Bombay potatoes lacked flavour and really needed seasoning. The Naga chicken had the right aroma, but the gravy was bland and the chicken pieces—being tandoori style—were rubbery and lacked cohesion with the dish, making it feel disjointed rather than a single, unified curry. As for the chicken and prawn biryani—I’d rather not even go into it. Honestly, I’m surprised by the number of glowing reviews.

I ordered king prawn bhuna, garlic naan and pilau rice with cucumber raitha. The curry was unfortunately rather underwhelming, lacking body, the flavour was average with few king prawns. Quantity of the curry and rice was minimal, left me wanting more. Cucumber Raitha seemed curdled so that was uneaten. It’s been some months since I last visited, sadly I’m not feeling encouraged to return.
