We have ordered delivery from here for years, it always hits! The food is always hot and absolutely delicious, the staff are also incredibly kind

Their chicken biryani is a highlight, with perfectly spiced, fluffy rice and succulent chicken......

The naan, tandoori roti, and paran puri are fresh, soft, and complement the curries beautifully.

The lamb chops are tender and juicy, cooked to perfection with aromatic spices......

Really good, had my birthday here they brought cakes and sparklers and gave everyone a free drink. Food was top quality, big portions and had plenty to take home. Would recommend the Thali platter. Will be going again!

Have got to say, ww stumbled across The Tamarind whilst having a break in Cambridge, what an amazing find it turned out to be, staff were amazing, made us feel like we were a regular here.. the restaurant itself all done to a very high spec, And we can honestly say the food has got to be of the best Imdian.Cuisine we have tasted.. the fish pakora, was a delight, for mains i tried tikka tandoori biriani (never tried it before) the flavours were out of this world.. portions sizes were larger then most restaurants. The only downside to the whole experience is the restaurant is to far away from where we live to.become a regular here .. but we will certainly look.forwatd to next time being out this way returning here.. highly recommended.. thankyou forba great experience

This was my fourth visit and the food quality remains the same: quite yummy! Good poppadoms with a nice raita and chutney for starters. Lovely kurma with some pilau rice and naan for mains and stuffed by time of dessert, so no dessert for either of us. The staff were friendly enough, despite taking a long time after three meal to be able to ask for the check. Recommend for some nice Indian food....

Les daría un cero, si pudiera. Habíamos reservado para 6. 30 pm en NYE. Llegué a tiempo. Tomamos bebidas, poppadoms, etc y esperamos y esperamos y esperamos, pero después de casi 2 horas, salimos. Al menos otros 3 grupos de comensales vinieron tras nosotros y se les sirvió su comida antes que nosotros. Seguimos preguntando si había algún problema y le dijimos "5 minutos más, lo siento mucho" pero el tiempo simplemente se prolongó y todavía no llegó nada. Estaban llenos y algunos otros comensales también dijeron que habían estado esperando 2 horas también. El problema era que el restaurante estaba lleno, pero también un montón de clientes que aparecen para llevar - lejos. Necesitan priorizar a los comensales y decir No a tomar más órdenes de llevar - lejos! Totalmente inaceptable tratar a los clientes de esta manera.

Went with family to celebrate a 90th birthday and the Tamarind could not have done more - food was great and service amazing. Highly recommend this place, been there loads and never let us down. Thank you all at Tamarind, Teversham......

A superb anniversary lunch. We opted for the set menu which provided plenty of choice, particularly as we eat very little meat. The corn samosas were exquisite with the perfect amount of heat and spice. The main courses of prawn curry and a paneer dish with rice, paneer and two accompanying dishes (a lentil and spinach) were also superb. To finish off, we decided to try the desserts which were fabulously presented and tasted equally as good. The setting, atmosphere, care and attention from staff to the quality of food were all top notch. A fabulous experience which we considered to be very good value for money.

We like this restaurant, decorated with taste and extremely caring team. Traditional Thai food dishes are nicely presented, fresh ingredients and very tasty. Of course more somewhat more expensive vs normal restaurants in town, but the overall ambiance makes the difference....

I had the opportunity to eat at Tamarind restaurant in July and was really impressed with the food and service. They recently updated their menu, and every dish (and cocktail) I had was delicious. The restaurant also recently underwent renovations and the place looks great. Plus, they've got amazing sea views.

Just had the best clay baked chicken it was beautiful and if you go here give it a try. Beautiful and the staff are really helpful and friendly.

Great Indian food of the best quality. The service was excellent as usual. The restaurant was fully packed so it was very noisy which is annoying, but i do not think that they could do anything about it. We will return as the place is top notch.

We chose the midweek meal deal which includes poppadom & pickles, a starter, a main course plus a choice of either rice or naan bread. All of the food was 5 star, as was the service.

A recent visit with four friends was a lovely experience. We were greeted warmly and given menus. Drinks arrived quickly. The room was nearly full and there was a good atmosphere. Our waiter explained some dishes with which we weren't familiar and starters arrived quickly. How kind to offer us a short break between courses ! Mains were hot and delicious. Nothing more to say. We couldn't fault the food or the service. Oh! but the stairs to the toilets are a bit steep and long.However, the facilities couldn't be faulted

Great amongst standard UK 'take away' curry houses. Go: for a friendly service and for UK influenced 'Indian food'. Don't go: if you are looking for authentic desi food, that you actually eat in Indian subcontinent.

Received the wrong order as I didn’t specify a masala rather than just chicken tikka, rang and they have sent out the original order and kept the first order all of which is very flavoursome and brought the new order within 20 minutes. Will definitely be ordering again.
