6 of us dinned her tonight for my granddaughters birthday , all the food was fantastic couldn't fault anything , we'll be back again ...

Booked a table at 7oclock had a great meal at 8.30 brought bill and said they needed table for someone else Still eating desert not good enough

It was really good servers were very polite would definitely recommend. Really nice food and love the atmosphere would come again.

This was my fourth visit and the food quality remains the same: quite yummy! Good poppadoms with a nice raita and chutney for starters. Lovely kurma with some pilau rice and naan for mains and stuffed by time of dessert, so no dessert for either of us. The staff were friendly enough, despite taking a long time after three meal to be able to ask for the check. Recommend for some nice Indian food....

A superb anniversary lunch. We opted for the set menu which provided plenty of choice, particularly as we eat very little meat. The corn samosas were exquisite with the perfect amount of heat and spice. The main courses of prawn curry and a paneer dish with rice, paneer and two accompanying dishes (a lentil and spinach) were also superb. To finish off, we decided to try the desserts which were fabulously presented and tasted equally as good. The setting, atmosphere, care and attention from staff to the quality of food were all top notch. A fabulous experience which we considered to be very good value for money.

We like this restaurant, decorated with taste and extremely caring team. Traditional Thai food dishes are nicely presented, fresh ingredients and very tasty. Of course more somewhat more expensive vs normal restaurants in town, but the overall ambiance makes the difference....

I had the opportunity to eat at Tamarind restaurant in July and was really impressed with the food and service. They recently updated their menu, and every dish (and cocktail) I had was delicious. The restaurant also recently underwent renovations and the place looks great. Plus, they've got amazing sea views.

We chose the midweek meal deal which includes poppadom & pickles, a starter, a main course plus a choice of either rice or naan bread. All of the food was 5 star, as was the service.

A recent visit with four friends was a lovely experience. We were greeted warmly and given menus. Drinks arrived quickly. The room was nearly full and there was a good atmosphere. Our waiter explained some dishes with which we weren't familiar and starters arrived quickly. How kind to offer us a short break between courses ! Mains were hot and delicious. Nothing more to say. We couldn't fault the food or the service. Oh! but the stairs to the toilets are a bit steep and long.However, the facilities couldn't be faulted

Great amongst standard UK 'take away' curry houses. Go: for a friendly service and for UK influenced 'Indian food'. Don't go: if you are looking for authentic desi food, that you actually eat in Indian subcontinent.

Received the wrong order as I didn’t specify a masala rather than just chicken tikka, rang and they have sent out the original order and kept the first order all of which is very flavoursome and brought the new order within 20 minutes. Will definitely be ordering again.

Visited with three generations of our family from across the country and all agreed just great! Firstly and mainly the food is tasty, well portioned, well presented and excellently spiced. The staff are friendly and the prices very reasonable. We don't go often but we have been going for many years, and we know we can rely on really good food regardless of the order: meat or vegee, hot or mild. I'm always dubious of just praise reviews so for the negatives I would say I find the acoustics difficult in one of the rooms. Not sure what they could do but it can be difficult to hear others on your own table. As I'm gluten/wheat intolerant I have no fear of real Indian cooking just avoid the breads, but would be nice to be clear on the menus. It would be good if the drinks where listed on the website as two of the three main beers are wheat based and luckily I knew Tiger was not, and a pity they don't serve Guinness any more like they used too. Overall a fantastic restaurant and I'm jealous of those who also have this as there local Indian as a restaurant or takeaway.
