Milton Spice in South Cambridgeshire

Been in cambridge for 25 years but now back where nearest delivery for curry is milton! It was always good but now seems even better. So pleased to have used there again and would highly recommend! 1 negative is cash on delivery or pay by card on the website! Can't be doing with that (must be an age thing)

Brilliant take away, i have reviewed before but wanted to again. Food is amazing and portions are very generous. We use it every couple of weekends. Discount given for cash collections.

Its a take away, used it dozens of time over tha last five years. Good menu, plenty of choice, discount if you collect and pay cash. Deleivery service is pretty good too.

Fantastic meal from this place, found it while zipping along the A14 outside of Cambridge. If they had sit down dinning the place would have been packed.

Just had a chicken duphiaza and mushroom rice , collection , 10 mins wait, very nice service & tasty food.

I haven't used this place for a few years and after multiple disappointments trom other places i decided to order from them yesterday, wow the food was excellent large pieces of succulent chicken tikka in the madras and the king prawns were actually king prawns as advertised, great bombay aloo, Amazing flavour, portions, prices, and they don't sting you for a delivery fee, and the delivery guy was an old friend of mine I ain't seen in years. Thankyou milton spice for a great meal, can't explain why I stopped using you, see you again, look forward to ordering again. 😊

First time ordering from here and the food is exceptionally nice especially the Balti and Bombay potatoes. The service from the person on the phone was very professional & helpful . The delivery service was very quick . I thought as it was a Saturday it would take a long time . The food arrived in 45 minutes presented by a friendly driver . I will re order from here again . Got some biryani on a day trip to Cambridge. Not the best. I can usually eat without te sauce, but I needed every bit of sauce on this one.

Have used this takeaway 4 or 5 times in the last few months and this time I felt I needed to give a review . They are excellent !! The food is amazing, full of flavour with fresh ingredients used. The service is good, I always got to collect but I have heard the delivery is great too. Just finishing a Jalfrezi, keema nan, mushroom rice. Amazing with a lovely peppery and spicy sauce. Have tried a few Cambridge takaways this summer and autumn but none come close to this one !

Stay away from thief's,they charge you for things and then dont give you the same items ,they dont even give you receipt of what they charging, they lie on your face that they dont give bill? This is only so customer wont know what they paid for and what they gave you food. Worst customer service, rude, arrogant Make sure to open each and every item before you pay.

Best Indian I have ever had! Consistently really good food, and you can tell it’s freshly prepared as flavours are always ever so slightly different. Friendly service too.

Food OK although Ceylon sometimes over powered by Lemon Juice, but has anyone noticed online ordering discount now stopped as well as 10% off for cash on delivery ? Unfortunately prices are now not competitive with many other Indian food in the Cambridge area. Sorry guys but eventually have blown it for us :-(

Food Consistently Good. Initial Problems when changed hands a couple of years ago but now great. Also get discount for ordering online and extra discount for cash. Have tried many others but was favourite but standard down and costs up recently, unfortunately can now buy cheaper for better quality.

We have tried a lot of curry houses in Cambridge and they are all too greasy with not enough flavour. Milton Spice is delicious and not swimming in grease, lovely.

The food its good. very attitude people although,service could be better and to be hones if i spent 49.50 because of the 10% off if I pay buy 💸cash💸 I should still get the free papadom like in every other indian or Pakistani restaurant.

never had a bad meal, I have been there about 15 times now! they do good portions and staff are always friendly. you can see the kitchen from the front desk and its all genuine lads from running this joint, highly recommend!

Ordered a takeaway a week ago and it came within 20 minutes of ordering even though I was expecting it to take around an hour. Additional nan breads and sauces were provided which we hadn't ordered but were so delicious and used for lunches the next few days. The food was soooooo delicious. So rich, creamy and flavour some. I'm no chef but it all tasted fresh and like it had just been cooked. We will definitely be ordering again.

I've tried many an Indian takeaway in Cambridge and Milton Spice is by far the best I've tried. Food is fresh, flavour is deep and their customer service + delivery times are incredible

Worst takeaway in Cambridge items missing 5 times in a row waited nearly 2 and half hours always giving wrong naan bread egg fried was nasty egg was grey always my curry seems to create a swimming pool on my plate as the curry seems to turn to water once put on service is terrible its all the time

Excellent meal again and plenty off it. Went to collect and the guy apologised saying he made a mistake with collection time by about 20 mins, i was quite prepared to wait but insisted i went home and would deliver it, which he duely did 20mins later. Well done

Tried Milton Spice takeaway for the first time this evening. Ordered online at 5.55 pm and advised collection could be made 40 minutes later. Requested a phone call when ready. Arrived just before the 40-minute collection time so walked around outside, call received on the dot, collection made, staff member pleasant, handed bag of food at arm's length. Food was all delicious, well-cooked, good, fresh ingredients, good-sized portions. Impressed with first visit, will use again.

Food was very tasty when it arrived. Waiting over 2hrs is a bit much and 1 hr past expected delivery time, on two calls we were told it was on its way (it wasnt) and not so much as an apology.

Great food and even better on quiet nights during the week, it’s a father and son team with a great passion for cooking and are always happy to accommodate in any way they can, the tandoori chef if you like grilled food also really good and knows his stuff and is always willing to give you a wave when you go in. Great local curry place, fast delivery, really friendly driver and very good food

We love Indian food and have therefore used many in the local area. We were highly impressed with Milton Spice. We had 12 different vegetarian dishes and all of them were extraordinarily tasty, piping hot and very fresh. Fast delivery also. Really won’t need to go anywhere else!!

Some of the best Indian food you will have in your life! Plus delivery is always timely. We eat here at least two a month!

Just had a take away from Milton Spice via Order2Eat. FANTASTIC! Arrived 15mins earlier then expected, friendly delivery guy, lovely food - particularly the tarka dahl which tasted very fresh and homemade.

Amazing food! Have been ordering from here for around 2 years now and would certainly recommend. I am vegetarian and never has any issued with food tasting like it was mixed with meat (which is common for take aways). Looked up the hygiene rating which is highest and was not surprised. Give them a go!

We eat from here once every few weeks. The food is pretty consistent and good, and the portion sizes generous. We normally find one curry, rice and a side dish are plenty for two to share.

I have got to say this is the first time I have tried this kind of food and what a surprise the food is amazing it is freshly cooked with decent portion sizes. If you struggle to choose just ask. It has great parking facilities prices are reasonable this place is well worth a visit it surly will not disappoint.

Hadn't gone to it for years due to previous managers, if you read the reviews the lower stars are from a few years back. I was informed it had changed hands and Last night's curry was fantastic, certainly a five star curry.

A friend recommended this take away and we tried it as they deliver, and the food is meant to be good. We ordered around 7pm on a Saturday and the food was delivered within the hour by a really happy chap, and we weren’t disappointed! Great food and good value! The local one seems to be getting more and more expensive so will definitely use this service again! Thank you 😃

Food and service top notch. I often make my own curries, but this was just as tasty and took less time to prepare a feast for six people than I would take to prepare one at home. Highly recommended.

used to be really good but lately every time I've collected it's been cold. last time i ordered they mistakenly gave me a large pizza rather than small. this would have been fine but they also charged me for a large pizza that neither myself nor my partner intended to eat or had intended to buy. this place is expensive and this used to be fine as they were really tasty and cared about what they sold to their customers. lately they have seemed to care much less and this is disappointing. if you're going to charge as much as Curry and Pizza then you really need to offer something exceptional. lately their offering has been ordinary and often cold. I feel very much short changed by Curry and Pizza in Milton

We've been getting our curry from the Curry & Pizza (as it used to be called) for years. The decor is distinctly lacklustre, but the staff are friendly (and it's not like you're going to sit down for a meal anyway). The food is pretty good, and they're happy to tweak the recipe to suit the customer's taste.

Disappointing is the word that sums their food up. It's not that it's bad, it's just not very good. The vegetables in particular taste like they're out of a tin half the time. I've given up on them as there are too many better curry places in surrounding villages and north Cambridge.
