The best restaurants serving Indian food in East of England

Rude and mental people working there. They dont know how to speak with people. Hate and avoid those rubbish place.

Just want to say me and my friend order food from here last night, and we can't thank curry cottage enough, in how good the food was... any one wanting food from here won't be disappointed, and the food portions were decent and very flavorist....

The food was excellent, but the evening was ruined by the noise. When booking the day before our visit, when we had specifically asked, we had been told that there would be live music - it was a Saturday night - but that we would be allocated a quiet table. In fact there was a birthday party going on, with loud thumping disco music, and karaoke , which totally drowned out conversation for the rest of the guests. The management were joining in, and photographing the event, to the extent that we had to get up to leave before we could get the bill, despite a number of requests. The evening was not helped by the waitress accidentally knocking a bottle of wine over me. There was no attempt to replace the bottle until I asked for a replacement. The fact the wine went over my shirt, jacket and trousers was ignored. The staff were too busy attending to the birthday party It was a dreadful evening for those not involved in the party, and we felt we had been badly misled by the assurances we had been given.

Copy & paste from previous orders. Whoever actually delivers is always very friendly and even has a quick chat. Food, as always, is top notch.

The best Indian food around Ipswich. The food was fantastic, and I loved the portion size. I would be happier if the portions contained more chicken, but that's beside the point. I would recommend anyone try Garlic and Coriander Naan and chicken pakora as starters. It is also really well-priced. Also, the staff is so friendly and helpful. I recommend this restaurant.

Great vegetarian options. Everything was really tasty and tasted fresh. Very well priced. Best Indian takeaway I’ve had in Essex! First time ordering and will definitely become our local 🙂

Food was nice, but smaller portions than others and was extremely disappointed with only getting 4 pieces of chicken in one of the dishes. This was takeaway that was also 25mins late even when ordered in advance

A perfect example of an Indian restaurant. The restaurant is small but packs a punch in flavour. Cozy and very clean. Went with work colleagues we all loved it. Will definitely be back

Lovely ambience absolutely delicious food not Neen here in ages I was not disappointed very good food the butter chicken so succulent ,the rice was fluffy and so hot 😋

Very nice food to Sit in or to take out. I’ve had a delivery before aswell and it’s been very Quick. Very helpful staff They even open the door for you on arrival. Highly recommended.
