1st time using these guys and will definitely be going here again the food is fantastic. I had a lamb tikka rezala and partner had chicken tikka pathia special, both cooked brilliantly and delicious. Would highly recommend these guys.

Heard good things about this place! Really friendly and great service, food was fresh but lacked flavour and was hardly inspiring. The search goes on to find a replacement for my usual haunt.

Edible but disappointing. Full of food colouring, lacking in flavour between dishes. The Chicken Tikka Masala wasn’t much different to the bhuna. The CTM was neon orange as was the coconut filling of the surfed paratha. I was particularly annoyed that having placed an order for a saag paneer, they didn’t tell me till I picked the order up that they didn’t gave any paneer so had cooked a sagaloo. Which I can’t eat. I wouldn’t bother with this one again.

Peshwari naan was lovely, the lamb in my passanda was a bit tough, but my wife said her prawns in her curry were huge. There’s cheaper places out there, but I’d definitely try again.

Good food but sad that the price you pay online is not the price you pay at the door delivery driver adding extra on top pretty sad really always been good before

Just had the best lamb jalfrezi ever. Had quite a few from The Curry Pot and always good but this was outstanding. Looking forward to the next one.

Tried this place a few weeks back and it was the best Chicken Jalfrezi i've had in years. Meat was tender, sauce was just right and the Peshwari Nan was the best i've had. These guys know how to cook, you will not be disappointed in their food. If i lived closer i'd have a meal from this Indian Takeaway at least once a week. 5* Takeaway.

Our regular Saturday night curry. Great choice from their extensive menu. Very friendly staff, including their delivery drivers. Usually quicker if you collect though. Food is always excellent!

Had a butter chicken. Vindaloo naan bread and a couple of sides. £25. Delivered. 45 minutes (which was the time they said it would be). Really good portion size. Excellent quality.

Cracking Curry from the guys once again, great to see online ordering up and running. Service is always swift, food arrives piping hot and full of flavour. Personal favourite is the chicken tikka dansak! Don't hesitate to use these guys. Looking forward to our next takeaway already!

The food is ok here. Not the best and not the worst. In my group of four, three thought it was excellent. The rice was great and the peshwari also great but my vindaloo tasted burnt. It almost tasted like pipe tobacco. That was disappointing but the guy serving at the pickup was really nice. It’s a little pricey for a takeaway as well. But you could do a lot worse!

Excellent food freshly prepared, was an absolute delight to eat. Full of flavours. Delivery service is also excellent, and the food always arrives piping hot.

I’ve driven past Curry Pot for months being apprehensive as it doesn’t look like a typical takeaway. I am so so glad I decided to stop. The service was excellent and the food delicious. It’s now fast becoming our favourite place to get curry from.

Delivery was early wich was lovely, currys were nice but very watery!

Had some curry loving family visiting, so I told them we had a great Indian takeaway. You did not let me down !! Dinner for 7 perfectly on time and delicious. I really rate this place.

We love this yummy takeaway, not only does the food taste great the staff are always super friendly and great with kids.

First time visit. Food was excellent, fresh, tender. Even the salad bags (which aren't usually eaten, were fresh) No excessive fats or oils, perfect. We've found our next staple Indian. Definitely recommend.

Very friendly. Good meals for slimmers if you choose the Chicken Shaslick which comes with a salad & boiled rice!

What to say? Friendly staff. More importantly food was lovely. Nice and fresh... the vegetables in the curry still had texture, especially the chili's. Wonderful flavour. Its on my list of places to visit again.

Delivery was wrong again. Ordered garlic rice received egg rice. Wrong curries also again. Portion size of meat very small compared to other places I've been. Overall not a very good meal and not authentic Indian/bangaldesh food.

Foods alright, if they get your order right!! But when you wait nearly an hour for it delivering then they’re saying another 20 minutes to fetch you the right food.....

Amazing quality and decent prices

Very friendly & faster than promised service. The curry was good with well sized portions. The chicken dansak & chicken patia were equally nice, including the mushroom fried rice.

I have been getting my curries from the curry pot for the last 12 months, Always good and home delivery is excellent , Delivered when said and pipping hot, Keep it up.

Was a good curry . Sauce had good flavours and naan was decent size. Cooked well also and there within the hour. Good job

Have had numerous orders from here over several years and have never been disappointed. Normal menu items. cooked very well and nearly always ready exactly at the collection time.

Have passed this time and time again and never considered using it until it was recommended.

This place gets better with every order. The prawn puri starter is the best I have had in Norwich. I tried something new this time - a chicken tikka madras. It was wonderful - not overly spiced but enough kick for me to feel. Again, it was the nicest I have had in the city. Delivery is always bang on time and it's a local business for me which I am always in favour of. Keep up the good work

I just think these guys are brilliant. The food is categorically the best Indian food I've eaten - it's not greasy at all, which I find sometimes overpowers Indian food. All of their meals I've tried have been delicious. We've had food from them 3 times now, twice as a delivery and we are a very hard house to find, but they always manage it and the delivery guy is always extremely polite. They ran a bit late this time but phoned me to warn me, and it was only because of the weather conditions. The menu is very varied and all of the dishes have been brilliant. They manage to edge Brussel sprouts into some of their veg dishes which I've never seen before, but it actually makes the sprouts edible!. I have nothing at all bad to say about the Curry Pot and can't wait for the next time.

It may be only a take a way but the food is better than some restaurants.

Visited Curry Pot when it first opened and was very disappointed.Tried again last April and was equally unimpressed. Since then we have used a take away in the city. However last night I didn't feel like driving in to the City and thought I would give The Curry pot one more try. So glad I did.I had Chicken Vindaloo which was as good as I have ever tasted(beleive me I have eaten a lot of curries in my time). I couldn't believe the improvement. My meal had the Vindaloo"kick" but retained the flavour of the spices. I really hope this is now the Standard of the Curry Pot.If so I will be a regular customer.

First time ordering from here, prompt friendly service, delivered quickly, lovely variation of food which we both thoroughly enjoyed. The mint sauce for the lamb was extremely green and colourful. We'll definitely be ordering again from this local business.

After returning from holiday, decided I needed something to revive me. The reliably good Dhansak, quick and accurate service soon reminded me why I order my takeaways from here. On top of this, the Curry Pot delivers to areas west of Norwich that others will not deliver to.

We have had a few deliverys of food from the curry pot and they have been really good. Very tasteful and hot. It had become our regular at the weekends when we don't want to venture out on a cold night. In fact we are now waiting for our food as I write. I hope they keep to a good standard as a lot of take out places often go down hill after a while.

Average food. Be careful... It was 20% day but they said i couldnt have it as i ordered theough their website... " its cheaper on there" i checked and it was not it was same price... they did then agree to discount

Thought I'd try this out as a change from my usual curry supplier. Tender chicken but taste was a bit bland to be honest...I'll stick to where I usually go.

I will never order a takeaway from this establishment again after the bout of food poisoning I got. Being 6 months pregnant I was almost hospitalised. This is totally unacceptable - they should take food hygiene and food storage more seriously. Avoid the Curry Pot at all costs.

I'd been meaning to try the Curry Pot for some time (mainly as it's the only place that delivers curry in the local area) and finally got round to it.

We have now had several orders from this establishment. Each order was placed and had the food delivered in good time within the advised time period.

I have always had to travel out of Taverham if I wanted curry. We'd not had one for quite a while. Let's try the new one and boy are we glad we did. Delivered in a very reasonable time and superb Dhansak, naans, rice and bhajis. Well done Curry Pot you will be getting our business from now on!

Had a takeaway from here last Friday night, delivery was relatively quick and the food was fantastic! It was great quality and very hot! (temperature i mean, not as in spice!) Will use again!

The food here is a bit hit and miss really. Sometimes it's really good and sometimes it can be a bit dry and the naans overdone. I would still use this place again as the chicken tikka massala is often very good!

Ordered the meal for 2 for a Saturday night in. Friendly staff on telephone and for delivery. Tasty food and more than enough for 2. Had what was left for lunch the next day. Would definitely use again.

Ordered meals for six people (mains, naans, rice etc). When ordering I agreed with the gentleman we would collect in 35 minutes - great start the meals were ready when we arrived. However, all the curries, two Chicken Vindaloos, two Chicken Bhunas and a Madras were all tasteless and watery. The Tandoori Mixed Grill and Chicken Tikka starters were good. The Naans (although a bit smaller than expected) were OK, as were the rices - although to find two whole sprouts in the vegetable rice was a bit unexpected (but sprouts are vegetables, so not really a problem!). We were very excited to have an Indian takeaway in the village but for the time being I think we will continue to use our regular Indian takeaway in the city.

Have now had 2 deliveries from this new Indian takeaway in my village, Taverham. On both occasions, the food was absolutely brilliant. The chicken in my Korma was succulent and the sauces were so tasty. The gentleman who took my order and the delivery driver were efficient and friendly. Can find no faults in their service whatsoever!

Collected a curry at 6:30 on a Friday. Had the set meal for 1 which was good value. Service was great and prompt. Food was delicious.

We used this takeaway just after it opened, telephoning an order for delivery. Eventually the order arrived over half an hour late, following a chaser phone call, not impressed !! Reasonable starters but main dishes were bland with one wrong rice dish and cold naan bread. Let's put this down to opening teething problems. Will try again but will call in to order and collect..
