Our favourite Indian takeaway by far! It’s not until we try other options we appreciate how good the food is here. They always cater for vegan options . The only downside is it gets busy so occasionally you might have to wait for longer than expected

Ordered here as we were looking for a new Indian takeaway and we were blown away! The food quality is amazing - it tastes so fresh and fragrant! We collect as is very local to us and every time we’ve been there the guys are very friendly and welcoming. They include some lovely add ons with the order and it is very much appreciated (especially the orange!

Pre-ordered delivery time and still 30 mins late. Arrived Luke war and needed to be re-heated. Everything drenched in oil and grease. Food was quite bland. I won’t be coming back.

Pre-ordered online hours before they opened for a set time delivery. Order confirmed but arrived 30 minutes late. Judging by the fact that after calling the restaurant they told me the driver had left 15/20 mins ago and the actual time it arrived - the food was only Luke warm and had to be reheated, which is never ideal. The containers were messy with oil/grease and the Nan bread was inedible. The starters were ok although the Samosas were incredibly greasy. The mains were quite bland and I swear mine tasted of Tomato Soup. Overall, an unpleasant experience which we will NEVER repeat.

Ordered meals for four. Unfortunately my order Vegetable Nargis was meat! As we were with guests and didn't want to break up the evening I threw it away. The other meals were very good. On collection we were told it was £40 but if we paid cash £36, do visa charge 10% ?

Ordered at 5.55pm, received food at 8.20pm. When we rung the store to question the arrival time there was always an excuse, “short staffed”, “just packing now”, “there was a mix up with your order”. We was kindly given £10 back in return and a discount on our next order but £50 spent and a 2 hours 30 minute wait (50mins longer than what it should have been) for warm-ish food that didn’t have anything wow about it, I don’t think we will be back to claim that discount. Very disappointed

Very late delivering a small order. Told me minimum order £15 and seemed to blame me for just eat not updating their listing. Have ordered lots from here previously but this will be final time. They do also seem to mention cash on collection a fair bit so suspect they are not fully tax compliant.

Checked reviews before ordering for first time. Had chicken tikka masala & tbh wasn’t impressed. Food was lukewarm considering it’s only about a 5min drive to my house. Sauce was watery & tasted bland, nothing like a masala at all. Haven’t had an Indian meal for years & was so disappointed ☹️

After reading the reviews I am very disappointed, the food arrived an hour and 15 minutes late from my scheduled time. When the food arrived the chicken was dry probably due to being in the container for a long period, and the food was lukewarm. The food did have a nice flavour but it would have been so much better if it was fresher and the food was hot.

I absolutely love this restaurant. I won’t order an Indian meal from anywhere else.

Had a takeaway from Leigh Spice for the first time last night. Pre-ordered online during the afternoon. The food arrived on time and was clearly labelled. It looked fantastic, the portions were very good and all of the meat was of decent quality and generous sized pieces. All the family agreed it was an excellent takeaway. Probably one of the best we've had in a while. I went for the Lamb Tikka Korai with Mushroom Rice (see photo). Definitely recommend this takeaway. Go try it - you won't be disappointed...

This is our 4th curry from here and I honestly wouldn’t want a curry from anywhere else. The menu is extensive and every dish we have had has been very tasty, consistently good food.

Delivery - no mango chutney, veg curry was made with frozen veg, chicken was chewy.

They sent a wrong dish!!!!! Chicken instead of lamb….but other than that…..perfect food!

I am a regular customer and have noticed that standards are lowered. This time food was disappointing with dry Chicken Pasanda and not fresh Nana bread. No mint source as usually would be supplied. Arrived more approx. 40 minutes late.

The food was excellent, every dish had its own flavour and was enjoyed by the whole family. Will definitely order from Leigh Spice again.

Delivery was late. Driver was rude after I refused to come and collect my food from him after paying a £3 delivery fee. The curry itself was bland and the lamb very gristly. Won’t be coming back

Food is ok but I will not be ordering again the reason is their driver basically loudly saying in the street that I should have spend more for money if I want it delivered. Well the restaurant need to change that on just eat rather than such a behaviour.which I find quite insulting. Although I paid for the food I ended up not eating it after such a display of behaviour from restaurant driver . Definitely will not be ordering again from them

Soooo nice!! I’ve lived in Leigh a year and haven’t found a decent Indian yet. How have I missed out on this place!? Absolutely delicious. I had chicken tikka masala and it was so nice, so much flavour! Bombay potatoes lovely! Bhuna amazing! Will be ordering from here again x

Not been here for nearly 5 years, so as our usual one is getting more expensive and seems to be less food we looked for an alternative for a take out, easy online order and pay, food was generous sized portions but above all a very good price, got a large amount for 3 people at £28 inc Half a Tandoori Chicken, Balti, Pathia, naan and a large starter, and large salad, our usual would be nearer £40 now, just a takeaway outlet so less overheads, complimentary cut Orange and Popadoms, good food and service, and a very favourable price.

Lovely takeaway from Leigh Spice, my only complaint was that perswari naan was lacking in taste, more like plain naan with just a few bits of coconut in it, other than that the meal was hot, delicious and was delivered on time

Nearly 2 hours and still waiting

Ordered a take away from just eat order placed 6.08 and confirmed at 6.08 arrived 8 oclock ish some of it cold and not nice I will not be ordering from this take again very disappointing.

The only criticism here is not knowing if rice comes with any main course. So as to avoid an excess of rice (which often happens as it seems to come free with curries etc) we didn’t order any rice as an extra. So guess what, our curry arrived and NO RICE! A curry without rice is like a car without wheels so overall the meal was very disappointing. I’ll order rice next time and probably end up with about 3 portions as usual! Otherwise the food quality and delivery speed was great.
