Excellent quality food delivered very quickly. Highly recommended.

Called in at tea time a group of four Ordered a starter and main meal for all in the party. When the food came it was all the starters and main in one go. The staff said was it all right to have it in one. Well no I said but they told us that this was the way they serve it here. REALLY!!!! The food was hot The staff not very friendly And the price. Well take out a mortgage Will we go back NO!!!

Is Café Shimla closed down or something, there's no answer and they appear closed?

Samosas were very small. Madras sauce was very watery.

We waited over an hour and a half to receive our order, which was not the estimated time frame. The chicken was very tough and the curries had no flavour. Sadly, we really did not enjoy.

First time takeaway order (collected) of chicken dhansak and pilau rice. Very tasty and not greasy. Good balance of flavours. No free poppadoms though! 🙂

Went for a Friday night curry and everything was perfect. Food was spot on and the flavours were unreal. Service was prompt and informative. 10/10 will be back!

The food was ok, average at best. My friend’s lamb chop starter was burnt to a crisp, how can the staff not recognise this? Mains were ok. Waited a long time for food, but it was a Saturday night so I guess this is expected. Decor very tired, but I guess their die hard fans will keep the place running, so no need to make efforts to address this. Not terrible, but I won’t be rushing back.

This really is a good restaurant. The food was very good, the portion sizes are amongst the largest I have seen at an Indian restaurant and the service was really friendly. Will be back!

Low key relaxing atmosphere, very tasty food, attentive service, bring your own booze. Good value. Can recommend and look forward to visiting again.
