Eating out is expensive, especially these days, but this place has an ace up their sleeves. To some, not serving alcohol may well be a put off. However, it's what sets this place apart. What annoys me profusely about other Indian restaurants is the extortionate prices you pay for a beer, a glass of wine, or Prosecco. Spice does not charge corkage, so cut your night outs bill in half by bringing your own favourite tipple. The food is top notch too. You have to book though because its popular 👍👍

Bad chicken , inedible- ordered 3 Meals and couldn’t eat it, chicken was chewy, rubbery, hard to swallow just absolutely awful.

This is the best Indian I have ever had. Excellent food choices. You can take your own alcohol in. We have never had a bad meal here. We love the flavours and there are some unusual specials on the menu that we had not seen before. We use it for takeaway and we also eat in. The restaurant itself is comfortable cosy and clean. There is off road parking opposite. Would definitely recommend. It’s the best Indian in the area and beyond.

Food was average but nice. We were able to take our own wine so only paid for food keeping bill low. Although staff were pleasant I thought service was poor as after we had finished main course no one asked if we wanted anything else ie. deserts/coffee.

Very friendly and great food, I try something new on the menu quite often and haven't been disappointed yet. There are other local Indian Restaurants in Flitwick, this is the best.

Great local curry house, love the fact that you can bring your own alcohol without corkage, like the recommendations on main courses

Had a takeaway from here last night; a lamb dhansak and a chicken jalfrezi with naan breads. This is hands down the best Indian food in Flitwick. Both curries were delicious and on par with the food in India (I lived there for 2 years).

Food was not great - all of our dishes tasted the same. Our initial server was a bit rude. Bought our food and had clearly messed up and put through a dish that we hadn’t ordered, no problem usually but he insisted we had ordered it. Only saving grace was our second server, who I assume was the manager. He was very lovely, so thank you to him.

Solid value - portions are perfect, fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection. Staff remember you and always make you feel welcome. This is a down to earth venue with no pretentions. Go here for good food (Lamb Biryani is my favourite), the ability to bring your own drinks, and great service.

1st time at this restaurant, bring your own alcohol. First impression very clean and well presented tables and decor, staff very friendly and helpful explaining dishes. Food well presented and tasty, nice Tarka Dahl. Would recommend and definitely return.

We ordered a takeaway yesterday for six people. The food was of exceptional quality, the price fair and the service friendly. I have visited many Indian restaurants over the decades. Spice is one of the very best.

Freshly cooked, good quality food. Good recommendations on our dishes. Notable dishes include the Tarka Dall and the Pilau Rice.

Still the best curry around & they'll cook any dish to the heat to suit you. I always ask for Madras hot and it's pretect for me. Not too hot, about 7/10.

Thee food tastes great and the staff are friendly. They even host entertainment on spicial nights to make your time there even better. To top it all off they have a VIP discount card. Just perfect.

The worst ever!!!! Asked for a delivery really looking forward to my dinner, asked for a chicken saag masala of which they had never heard of, chicken and spinach masala, all I got was a blended mess no chicken gave them a call no offer of sorting it out for me. It was my fault stay clear

Mmmmm? I think they need to be honest when people phone for take always. When told 50mims I don’t expect to turn up to collect and then sit in the corner wearing a mask for 40mins, what’s that and hour and a half. Shocking and on top of that the food wasn’t the best, bland and rubbery.

Got to disagree with the top reviews, far from the best, maybe the best in Flitwick but id still disagree. Chicken was like rubber so that was separated fairly quickly and binned. The sauce was what id class as a small portion not filling the takeaway tub. Nan bread was ok and probably the best part of the meal. The curry itself was fairly spicy and lacked the depth of flavour normally found from a good curry house. Personally after a couple of meals from here I wouldn’t bother unless it’s convenient.

This doesn’t necessarily look like a first class restaurant, but it is! All of the food for our party of four was delicious and the service was friendly and good. The fact that we can take our own booze is an advantage as it makes a night out very reasonable. I’m so many busy restaurants we struggle to hear each other but there was no problem here.

Had a lovely meal with friends and all our children. Food was excellent, and staff ere friendly and considerate as usual. Only slight negative was the wait for our food, however it was very busy.

I have been coming to Spice for about 8 years now. Without a doubt my favourite Indian. Any time I go elsewhere, I am always disappointed because nowhere lives up to the Spice standard. The food is absolutely delicious!! Service is always met with a smile and I’ve visited so much, they now recognise my family, friends and I - which is always a nice touch. Would recommend to absolutely anyone considering trying. Whether it’s my boyfriend and I, or when it was my birthday which consisted of nearly 20 guests, everything was fantastic - as always!!

Never had a bad meal and we eat here regularly. Staff are lovely and the food is really reasonably priced. Bringing your own alcohol is a bonus as in most restaurants that is what bumps up your bill!

Very tasty food, the weeknight set dinners are £14 with plenty of food to eat. They dont serve alcohol on site but they have a bring your own drinks policy.

At 6pm I ordered my dinner. I was told it would be here within an hour to an hour and a half. At 7.45 I called to be told they’d start it soon, it wasn’t even on its way. I’m very hungry and now cooking my own dinner. Just tell the truth ☹️

A great restaurant just around the corner from home. They appear to have sorted the service issues that they suffered from for ages and the grub has always been good.It’s a bonus that you can take your own booze but they won’t let you take in soft drinks. Worth a visit.

Lovely food chicken dishes are breast white meat and full of spices which was so beautiful we had delivery and we did not wait long food still popping hot which was good lovely staff

We eat here whilst staying at Harlington Manor. The menu was different to most Indians and I had fish delight - which was whole fish marinated with a special sauce. Very lovely.

Met up with family friends in this quaint little restaurant in Flitwick. It is located off the main roads and premium parking is limited. Inside the welcome was genuine and warm. The decor plesant with low lights and acoustics fine which enabled good conversation. The food was perfect, and the service quick even though the place was half full, and we all had a great time. My recommendation, chick dansak, sagaloo and onion bhaji. They also do a great value gourmet set meal for only 13.95.

I like this curry house best in the area, it just pips a couple of others and there are a few in the area, because the taste is very good, the quality of service is excellent and you bring your own alcohol, all at a reasonable price in Nice surroundings, car parking is OK, where some others are limited.

I have eaten at this resturant since the day it opened and can say I have never had a bad meal. However recently it seems even better. Food is amazing and consistently good. The chef always shows interest and often comes over to make sure everthings ok. I no longer live in flitwick but am nearby and do often still visit as no where else comes close!

Been before and all was good initially, however last nights visit was pooor. Service slow despite not being full, but hey not a major point, the food however, not good. I have chicken tikka masala. What arrived was a very vibrant bright red sauce with four or five small bits of chicken. The most unnatural colour for food and not what it was a year or so ago when I first went there!

Ordered a take away it was brilliant tasty and chicken was so tender and the prawn purée was so lovely ever thing else we ordered was very hot when it arrived so I would recommend any one to try it staff delivering it was so friendly I definitely be ordering again soon thanks very much for a lovely meal

We had a group of about 20 for a Christmas meal and they seated us apart! A table of 6 and the rest on another table, not a good start.

I don't understand how this food has such good reviews. The mixed kebab, lamb samosas and curry dishes just didn't have much flavour and the chickpeas were very bland. Parking outside was tricky (it was a Saturday night) but service collecting the takeaway was good. Unfortunately, much better Indian restaurants nearby.

We ate here a while ago and it was a little more expensive than our usual place and not worth the extra. They didn't cope well with a large group and we repeatedly had to ask for things they left out. We met up with the same friends on the weekend and had a take away from here. Very bland

Really liked it here. No alcohol license which is a shame but you can take your own. The food was very very nice.
