Anarkali in Central Bedfordshire

Very cozy restaurant, located on the high street with east parking outside. The place is kept very clean and tidy… even the toilets were very clean. They have lots to choose from in their menu, and even offer to tweak the menu to suit your preference. Your satisfaction as a customer means a lot too them… they will not be satisfied if the customer is not satisfied! The food was absolutely amazing, and the way they stayed on top of things to make sure you get the best possible service. From the greeting, right down to the goodbye, it was a pleasant visit!

Went here with 7 friends last night, brilliant food and service, brilliant atmosphere and the staff went out ofvtheir way to make it an enjoyable evening. Will definatly be going back here with my friends and also taking my wife here for a meal, highly recommend 👌

The butter chicken was too spicey and was inedible.

Very substandard Indian cuisine! Ordered lamb chops starter -Ok but only x2 small lamb chops. Mixed starter - 2 inch size cubs of chicken 1 very over cooked onion barji and 1 kebab, all very dry not good. Butter chicken - not a butter chicken! Just tasted like a chicken korma. All very disappointing for £28.

Had a starter, main and side. Enjoyed everything would come here again. Lovely pleasant staff who made us feel welcome and delivered great service!

the food was cold, the curry had exploded in the bag. there were 4 tiny samosas for nearly 12 pounds and 1 prawn in the mix grill. not the best unfortunately.

A lovely place to eat in and for take away. We are never disappointed and love our curries. For us this is the best Indian Restaurant in Dunstable. We particularly love the Lamb Naga and Beef Chilli. The staff and lovely and friendly. Always a winner.

Ordered same dishes that I've had before and loved, but so disappointed tonight, but was too hungry to report and complain. I ordered the Kalimari, got 4 squid rings, this used to turn up as a container of crispy squid pieces, instead i got 4 stodgy squid rings & plenty of fried onion, definitely not what you pay for. the food turned up & wasn't hot, flavour was good, but bearing in mind that this place is less than 5 mins from me, it should of still been very hot. Sadly I won't order again.

Order delivery. It was a little late but it is near Christmas so I am guessing they are busy. Food arrived at a reasonable temperature but not super hot which is a shame. Sauces were okay, not that tasty and have definitely had better. This would be a solid 3.5 stars as a middle of the road indian takeaway however the portions were a joke. Imagine a curry soup with a few bits of meat and fish floating in it. Seeing the reviews it seems that eating in you get a great experience so a shame this does not translate to takeaway service

Great lamb dish, more chicken please

I've just had one of the worst meals delivered from here. It used to be lovely. Then they shut down for a while. When they reopened I was so excited because it used to be amazing. The food arrived. One dish has be spilled over everything in the bag, ruining all the other dishes. The onion bhajis were burnt. The rice was greasy. One of the dishes was completely wrong. It was all so disgusting I threw it all in the bin. The spillage has now ruined my £600 dining room table with a big greasy stain. £50 meal and Deliveroo only willing to refund £30. So I've spent £20 and £600 worth of damage, for nothing. Avoid this place. They should've remained closed.

The best Indian in Dunstable Staff are very friendly but more importantly the food is great Waiters have great knowledge of Indian food and are happy for you to order off menu The halloumi dishes are stunning and unique Give this place a try you won’t be disappointed

A regular favourite. Visited tonight and tried their new Chef’s Surprise Thali which is a variety of 8 dishes served as a tapas/street food style. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommended.

Onion barji was rock solid , all sauces on 3 different items was exactly the same . And the coconut powder looked like it was mixed with all sorts of bits ,rice was cold

The food here was very good, and I would recommend it for a takeaway or small group. Unfortunately we were a large group, and it took a very long time to get our food. Our table was booked at 8pm, but we didn't get starters until around 9.30pm and our main courses arrived after 10.30pm. All the food was delicious, so I think a smaller group would enjoy it.

Always tastes fresh and they have the best mint sauce but usually order elsewhere as onion bhajis are like nearly £5 when elsewhere they are cheaper and it all adds up. Shame really

Food is really good, but if they tell you half hour, you can add at least another half hour on to that. Peshawari Naan never seems to have any coconut and undercooked.But, TBH, all in all mostly the food is so good, so you can forgive the slowness and order knowing its going to be slow.

I've eaten here before and I don't know why I stopped. Tonight absolutely eveything was PERFECT! Chicken chat starter and samosas were tasty, Chicken Tikka main and Bombay Aloo had so much taste, and the chicken was red, so they actually used saffron! Red onion chutney was the game changer for me, Not many restaurants so this anymore. Defo gonna do this again. Thank you for a beautiful meal x
