I love the food. It's very delicious I highly recommended. Came with family and we all thoroughly enjoyed.

Really lovely curry house and I use them aot for vegetable curries and lamb biryani. Fantastic food and great team of waitors. They do very fast take away food that I use and often have the the vegetable masala which is delicious. Never had a bad dish. Highly recommended.

I was back in Broxbourne for a visit and couldn't resist another meal at at this excellent restaurant. From the greeting at the door, to the smart and calm waiters dressed in black shirts and trousers, I can offer nothing but praise for Mangos. The food is top quality - and the staff are always happy to guide those of us that need help with the menu. Despite the restaurant bursting with every table full when we visited, we were served with courteous care and patience and our wonderfully aromatic and tasty meals (Jalfrezi chicken, Xacuti Gohst lamb) were served in good time. Well done Mangos and I will be back for sure.

Visited on Saturday night with family of 6 nice atmosphere and ambiance, excellent food and service lamb chop boona and railway chicken were exquisite be sure to try the fish pakora starter.

There service is too much bad and unhygienic food. Wasting money. Behaviour also not good. I personally recommend you all you never waste your money in this place

Had a house party catered for by Mangos all the food was delivered and served up in a buffet system supplied by them which was a bonus! The roasted lamb leg was an absolute treat. Had 4 different main dishes in large portions all varying in different flavours and spices. My guests were well impressed.

Took my elderly parents for an Indian which they love. I have to say this was the best Indian meal we have had for a very long time. Staff were friendly and polite, service was fabulous and food was stunning. Good portions, fantastic flavour. This would be difficult to beat. Well done! We will be back soon. I visited on a Tuesday when they have a fantastic offer on of a main side and rice or naan for £12.95. There are no restrictions on the curry options and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal of lamb balti tikka masala , coconut rice and a garlic naan. I didn't want a side dish and they were happy to do rice and a naan as the offer. The only reason for the 4 stars was they were caught a bit offhand when I arrived to eat alone which is a bit daunting in itself. I'm not sure they quite knew what to do with me lol and seemingly had to discuss seating me. Once they did though the staff were incredibly polite and accommodating. I'd highly recommend to anyone local or visiting.

Wow! This is the most amazing Restuarant I have ever been in the whole of Hertfordshire. The services I received is out of this world and excellent. Mangos is a place to be, very neat, beautiful setting and good environment, very interesting and tasty dishes that will keep you going for more. Most importantly, the owners are very kind, professionals and very friendly. They will always make sure u are very satisfied and happy. Their food is indeed value for money and I will always have a repeat in this restaurant. Therefore, I strongly recommend this restaurant to the world and everyone who loves good and tasty food. We have eaten in Mangos four times since the new management took over and have been delighted every time. The menu is great, enough choice without being overwhelmingly large and the quality of the food is superb. Amran, Abdul and their team are welcoming and attentive and it is genuinely a great experience. If you haven't been before - go - you won't be disappointed and if you haven't been for a while, it is definitely worth going back. It's the best place locally by a long way now.

I was attending a funeral the next day and had arrived in Broxbourne stressed, tired and hungry. What an amazing welcome we were given in this superb restaurant. Have they all taken a degree in Customer Service? Nothing like 99% of other Indian restaurants and at Mangos you can guarantee the very best service. We weren't looking for a large meal and the waiter guided us to their taster menu where we enjoyed a chicken and lamb Bhuna with dahl and a vegetable curry with rice. A simple but delicious meal served with style and class. The restaurant wasn't busy (Tuesday evening) but nobody hurried us and it is rare to feel so comfortable in a restaurant. Oh and and another treat - linen tablecloths and serviettes! Quite wonderful and we will definitely be back on my next trip from Bury St Edmunds.Thank you to all those that served us so well especially the waiter who had only begun the job the day before! The food and experience in mangos has been brilliant over my recent visits. The menu itself caters for all but the quality of the food is unrivalled locally! The ownership and staff are attentive and care about the service they provide and this goes a long way! If you haven’t been in recent times, get yourself back as it’s the best around!

Nice food is an understatment, the food was amazing! So much flavour and variety, I am definitely going back there again. The staff were very polite and on the job, the atmosphere in the restaurant was lovely. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough, it's a must go!!

Took my wife here for a meal and to my horror, we found eaten chewing gum at the bottom of our onion salad. To make it even worse, when i took this to the manager to complain, his response was none of our waiters or kitchen staff are allowed chewing gum!! Terrible attitude and will never go back to this place ever!!

I go to this restaurant a lot, and it’s a good 30 minutes from where I live, with many other restaurants offering the same nearby. firstly I want to say I cannot complain about the food or the price - the food is lovely and it is at reasonable cost.However it took over an hour for the staff to ask us for our order, I wouldn’t say they were rude - just disinterested, like they’d rather be at home with their feet up! My plate came out with dried rice on and I had to send it back, they apologised and got me another (this didn’t even bother me it happens...) But during a pandemic with disposable Income at a minimum I expect to be appreciated and welcomed, it really put a dampener on my evening as it did with the rest of our party.

Fabulous staff, fabulous food. I have to walk past two Indian restaurants to pick up my takeaway and I’ve never regretted it. Best Indian food around.

Extremely slow service as our food came 90 minutes after we ordered. Drinks came 45 minutes in and many of us didnt get what we ordered.

This is our favourite restaurant. The service is always excellent. The food is tasty. The staff are always happy to advise you on dishes and how they are cooked. Reasonably priced. Would highly recommend this restaurant

We went on a Wednesday evening, we were almost the only people in there and atmosphere was lacking. The waiter insisted on pouring our wine even when asked not to which I find annoying, also having to physically move out of the way when the waiter is putting plates on the table or taking them away so they don't hit you is not great service. My food, usually delicious was tasteless and indistinct for what it was supposed to be, garlic chicken bhuna. I won't go back in a hurry.

Food = tasteless, atmosphere = full of unruly children and parents and finally service = slow ...... can’t wait to get the bill and leave but that is also a waiting game.

This is an Ok place to eat but with so many other Indian restraints within a mile radius I would try Royal Bengal or go into Hoddesdon. If the rest are fully booked, this is just meh! Not overly priced but has steadily gone downhill in last few years. Parking is also a bit of a problem unless you fancy a walk from car park at back

Firstly ordered using the online menu and when I was presentes with the bill the price was a lot different. At this point they informed me they had put their prices up and you would think they would say " sorry about that please pay old price".Asked for a well done naan but when I opened at home it was cremated ! Like a brick and burnt to a crisp.Side vegetables lacked in flavour, shaslick was not presented well and looked like left over from lunch . Very disappointed

Took our elderly mother for a treat, food was very good, some unusual choices on menu. We really enjoyed tthe evening but felt it was spoilt at the end. We paid our bill and ask staff to call a taxi for us, unfortunately it could not arrive for another 25mins, we asked for a top-up of coffee for two people, we were then presented with another bill for £5.00, felt this was bad customer relations!

Over the years my friends and I have visited Mangoes more than anywhere else locally, some of it is location, the rest is that the food is tasty and we're not hurried out even when we've finished our food and drink and are just chatting at the end of the evening. Would recommend. They just need to work on their choice of white wine by the glass, not a problem if you're sharing a bottle as the choice is much better.

Been here a couple of times about four years ago This time it was awful Service was slow King prawns were tiny how they can sell as king prawns is awful Sag aloo was runny and watery Cheesy peas were disgusting

The Thursday evening atmosphere was extremely quiet ...only 1 table occupied on arrival The food was very tasty and venue very clean. Bonus we didn't come out smelling of curry which is always a good thing. I am told its very busy on the weekend.

We have eaten at mangoes many times over the last few years we've lived here and this was the worst food I have eaten there.

Visited Mangos this month with my wife and two friends. A friendly welcome was received by a staff member on arrival & we were shown immediately to our table. Service throughout the meal was excellent. We ordered a variety of dishes and shared them. All were of excellent quality and very tasty. The restaurant is quite intimate and although it had a good number of tables occupied, we still felt private. The cost of the evening was reasonable, although I was the only one of the four drinking alcohol, as I brought my own driver!! Overall a very pleasant experience and we will return at a future date. Thank you Gulshan staff.

We tried Mangos after recommendation from friends, having adopted Saffron as our go to Indian in be area. We were not disappointed. Warm welcome with friendly staff. Food choices good and great portions . Only quibble is their " medium" dishes were more toward mild, so we would ask to turn up the heat a notch next time.

Always delivers piping hot and interestingly spicy food. We love it when we visit family. Staff always welcoming when we pick up.

Lovely meal, visited on a Friday night and had dinner for my partners birthday, everything was great, popadoms, starters, mains I have no faults whatsoever and staff and very polite. Nice to have someone recommend something on the menu when you fancy something different...also nice to see speciality dishes on the menu otherwise you end up ordering the same thing all the time. First visit to this recommended restaurant but unfortunately will be my last.Food was very good and reasonably priced, but as a table of 4 on a Saturday night the service was poor - not asked if we required more drinks when glasses had been empty for a while. Several large parties in the restaurant for family occasions - which is fine but one table of 6/8 children under the age of 10 which at 10.30 was not the best! Anyway might consider a takeaway next time!

My Mum and I always go here. It's such a nice place for a quiet meal, but also I've been with a larger party and it's just as good. The food is amazing and the waiting/bar staff are very welcoming. Would highly recommend for an affordable and great value for money meal!

Been here before and it's been faultless. Been with a large group that go every year and enjoyed the experience each time. This time though the service was slowwwww. I had an empty glass on my table for over 20 minutes and not one waiter came over to over another drink. My boyfriend had to get the attention a waiter to order my drink. You'd think the drink would then arrive...no, we then had to chase the drink up as they had clearly forgotten about my drink. It wasn't even busy for a Saturday evening so I don't know how the service was so slowWe ordered starters and mains, seemed to be waiting for a while between starters and mains. I wouldn't have minded so much if I could have actually got a drink to bide the time! The curries we had were not overly warm, before they've been hot. Not sure what happened but I didn't leave very impressed. Not worth the money we were charged unfortunately. I won't be rushing back here

Incredible place one of the best in whole London!!!! Highly recommended!!!! Went there with my friend had r freshly made starters and grilled Charcool kebabs very tasty!!! Very warm please and stuff the waitress makes as feel like we knew her for ages really thankful for the fresh made food and excellent service!!!

I have not been to Mango's for a year or 2 but visited last week. I have to say that the food is so good and fresh. Service was also good as was value for money. This restaurant is now back on my top restaurant list

With many local restaurants with similar choices this one has a varied menu to suit all tastes- mild or closer to hot will be accommodated for- varied choice to compliment a full evening menu- little personal touches which are a suprise can make your visit a thorough enterprise for a special day

I've eaten at Mango's for years but never got round to writing a review, until now. - I've never had a bad meal and the staff are always friendly. Dishes always seem freshly prepared (unlike some other Indian restaurants). In summary, service, cleanliness, food quality, choice and value for money are all very good.

Although I have not been to mangos lately,can recommend it. Tasty food great service extensive menu. Give it a try you will not be sorry.

Reasonable quality food and service but a little pricey - would use again. Wanted fresh fruit for desert but they didn't have any - even though there is fruit in their dishes, it all comes from tins! Some parking in front.

Went last night to Mangos. Really fancied a good Curry and had a great Curry!I haven't visited an Indian restaurant since Cinnamon Kitchen a few months ago and instead of travelling into London for a visit to Cinnamon Kitchen decided to return to a restaurant that I had not visited for a few years.Attentive service without being over bearing, good value for money!

Visited for a family birthday meal. This place is not your everyday, run of the mill curry house. They use better ingredients and have a more varied menu than others locally in this area. All five of us agreed that it was excellent and we plan a return visit soon.

First time to this restaurant Friday 22nd of July the two of us sat in the middle tables of the restaurant our waiter was very helpful he recommended great dishes on the menu, the food was excellent so was the service will definitely make it a regular stop .

Having come here for YEARS as a family and loved the food, back in January we had a disaster. My son ordered his usual dish chicken tikka masala (takeaway). After 2 mouthfuls he ran out of the room to then tell me he knew he was having a reaction (he has a nut allergy, particularly peanuts) it was instantaneous. I then had to administer his epipen at home and 999 insisted on sending an ambulance, he then spent the evening in hospital very poorly, vomiting and on a drip. We went back into mangos that night and they didn't want to know. My husband went in a few days later, same reaction. We didn't even get a refund (£40 for the takeaway which wasn't eaten as we were in hospital). I sent a sample to an independent company and they confirmed there was peanut in the sauce !!!! Again went back with paperwork, not interested one bit. Disgraceful behaviour shame on you mangos. If you have a nut allergy I wouldn't trust anything they tell you. Very upset with the way we were treated as we went there for years.

Visited on Saturday after leaving the nearby Highland without eating (see seperate review) The service was fantastic , despite the fact that they were busy , we were made to feel that nothing was too much trouble for them . Food was delicious Would recommend

Probably the most tasteless Indian meal I've ever had (and I've had many). Our party of 6 all had different dishes and not one of them had any flavour, chicken was pre cooked and rubbery and food was served barely warm. To top off our very below average meal we were then overcharged on the hand written receipt. When the bill was queried, it was argued that I was wrong until I went through the entire bill with the waiter at the table, twice! Save yourself some bother and go to one of the other Indian restaurants in the area, I know I will be in the future.

Finally got round to visiting mangos on a Saturday evening as a family of 4. The restaurant was very lively, spacious and well presented. The service was quick and efficient. Staff there were welcoming, popadoms and drinks were served almost immediately. Must try the 'murg palong' and 'murg bakara'. Hats off to the chef and amazing service by the staff. Would I come again? Yes I definitely would.

A visit on a Friday and the restaurant was relatively quiet when we arrived, it then started to fill up and that's when things began to go wrong. The welcome was good and we were offered drinks and popadums which arrived quickly. My starter was spot on and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We then started to feel that we had been forgotten about. The main arrived in three parts with the tandoori dishes arriving last. This is the only place I have ever been served tandoori on a china plate, where were the sizzling dishes?? Both meals were cold and had I been able to attract the attention of a waiter I would have complained. Unfortunately the pace by then was Olympic sprinting for the waiters as the place was full and there were takeaways going out on a conveyor belt..... This business is too thinly spread to land hospitality well. When we finished our meal no-one cleared our table, no-one ever came back and we managed to flag someone down eventually to ask for the bill. It didn't come and eventually we got up and paid at the bar. The service and the food aren't up to scratch. I wasn't sure on my first visit but I am now and I definitely won't be back.

Went on a Thursday hardly anyone in the restaurant. Food portions were small and I had a prawn dish and the prawns were cut in half! Very average have been to better will not be going back.

After recently moving to the area I was keen try this curry houses as locals had recommended it but was bitterly disappointed. The restaurant itself was fine, service was okay and cost was reasonable but the food was sub standard and utterly flavourless, which is quite astounding for a curry house! A bit of chilli, coriander or SOMETHING other than onion and tomato gravy would have been welcome. If you like lots of sauce, very little meat and no flavour give it a try, otherwise go elsewhere. Oh and I was also somewhat confounded by coleslaw as a poppadom accompaniment... I mean coleslaw,...really??

Greeted with a warm welcome and had attentive service thought out our dining experience. The food was lovely. The only exception being the naan was a little under cooked for my liking, otherwise it would have rated 5 stars.

We went on a Saturday night at 7pm, the place was very busy and noisy, which is no problem as that's what you expect. We used to go here regularly but hadn't done in a year or so. We ordered drinks, which arrived promptly and by a friendly waiter, Popadoms arrived speedily. Then we ordered our starters and some extra water. That's when it all went wrong. We had to ask 4 times for the water and after 1 hr 15mins our starters hadn't arrived, so we asked, the waiter said it would be here soon, no apology. Another 15mins went by, so we complained the manager who again didn't apologise, complained about how quiet it was during the week and made us feel bad for going there at the weekend. After another 15mins went, which during another family with children attempted to leave, but were persuaded back to their table after threatening to leave not once but twice. Our food eventually arrived, but first came the mains in bits and pieces and then the starters just piled around the table. The food was fine, but by this point we were quite bitter, so we just rushed our meal, paid at the bar and left. We could have been there until midnight if we had ordered desert or coffee. Worst service I've ever experienced, we were made to feel like a burden to them and we witnessed quite a few other disgruntled customers too. They will be quiet at weekends too if they keep the attitude they have. I suggest they balance out their priorities, as they overfilled the restaurant, whilst also shipping out a LOT of takeways that were carried past the hungry customers who like us were waiting a long time.

Always have a curry when visiting relatives in Hoddesdon. First time this year. Ordered a take-away, the three different mains tasted and looked the same snd were bland and unseasoned and lacked a spicy flavour. The chicken in the Shashlic was dry and tough.Have always enjoyed Mango's curries..so what has happened? Shame.

60 of us had a lovely meal here last week. It was in aid of Macmillan. We all sat at different tables that were served seperatly. Our table was the biggest with 18 people. All our food was hot and all our plates went back empty. We had a set menu but the staff were very accommodating as regards changes to that menu. I'm not mad about Indian cuisine and I stuck to chicken korma,it was lovely. Chicken was very tender. Considering how busy it was we didn't really have to wait that long either.

Went to celebrate my daughter and son in law's silver wedding anniversary and it was a great evening. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

Visited this restaurant for dinner tonight, with 6 friends. What a bad experience we had! Waited over an hour for our order to arrive when it came it was luke warm. Dishes came in dribs and drabs at different times and the shashlick dishes were not sizzling but served on a cold plate, very unappetising. The food looked and tasted like it had been reheated. When we asked to speak to the Manager, we explained we were not happy with the service or food and he argued that it was our fault as we asked for extra time to decide on our food!He was so rude making every excuse under the sun for the very poor service and food. He took 10% off the bill but quite frankly he should have payed us to eat it.With no apology and incredibly rude Manager, we told them we would not be coming back. If you like good Indian food, that is served hot and in good time, you won't find it here! Do not bother.

Upon reading the most recent reviews I was a bit dubious about going here on a Friday night.However, we booked a fairly early table (7pm) and from the moment we walked in we felt very welcome.The staff were friendly, warm and hospitable. We were served quickly, the food was hot and tasted very good.I strayed from my 'usual' and tried one of the Chef Specials which was very good, the naan bread was very fresh, hot and well cooked.This is a little further than my 'local' but I would return here as a preference anytime. Excellent friendly service, good food.

Wow this is a huge restaurant. A first visit for us after a recommendation. This might have been a one off because there was a birthday party but the restaurant was packed and the noise volume very, very loud. So much so that the atmosphere was not relaxing and we struggled to hear the conversation above the din. Service was very slow and again this might have been the size of the birthday party but it could have been much quicker and more attentive. The food itself was very nice, we thoroughly enjoyed and will definitely try again. We both had upset stomachs the following day, it might have been a reaction to the oil and spices, we will give it the benefit of the doubt on this occasion and see how it goes the next time. Worthy of consideration but not a definite recommendation just now.

I'm a Indian myself and Mangos isn't Indian food It was alright there's only a few Indian restaurant in Broxbourne and around me mangos wasn't the one for me the food was bland and it the flavours didn't quite add up in my mouth sorry. Disappointed...

We have a Curry here on a Saturday night regularly and it's always very good! The curry dishes taste really authentic and if you want somethimg hotter they will do it!
