The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

Absolute salty horrible mess… all three curries tasted awful and salty bland. Contacted both just eat and the restaurant who didn’t want to know… do not order from here they will take your money and deliver sub quality and health damaging food and the worst possible service!!!

Ordered a takeaway in the restaurant at 7, told to come back and collect in 45 minutes. Went back and waited, and at 8.05 I asked where it was. 5-6 minutes I was told. 25 minutes later, after I asked for my money back, didn’t want to wait any longer, it appeared. They were so busy, why they kept accepting orders I do not know. My meal was terrible, worse curry I have ever had, my wife said hers was tasteless. I have given 3 stars because our friends said their meal was lovely. Sad because I have used this restaurant for years, but won’t be going back again.

Booked a table weeks before. Arrived 5 minutes before to absolute chaos, obviously no booking system. We had a table booked but they had clearly over booked and couldn’t fit us in.

We ordered a take away at 18.30 it arrived at 21.30.We phoned to ask where the deliver was after it was 30 mins late to be told it was on its way, We then phoned every 15 minutes to see where it was , when at 21.15 when we phoned they said sorry for the delay, they had put a bottle of wine in with the order. So this delivery could not have been on its way till 21.15.Seriously do not not use this place for delivery obviously lie continuously and as such have no respect for their customers. Definitely would not recommend.

Staff were kind and exactly on time with my order. The food was delicious. I rang ahead while driving and they had the order waiting by the time I arrived.

Awful food . Can’t cook ROTI. Or curry. 16/11/24 food arrived cold . Bland and undercooked.

Had the most delicious, tangy curry from the fantastic India Palace yesterday (a Lamb Khyber - highly recommend!) This local restaurant is invaluable for our community. Thank you to all the team and look forward to our next visit.

I went there with my wife last night. We had a really nice meal chicken dhansak and lamb biryani. Highly recommended them. Stuff was friendly too.

Decent curry spot which we would recommend. Although we didn’t take many photographs, the onion bhajis were top notch. I had the Tikka Jalfrazzi which was very flavoursome but would say it is hotter than other local Indians. My partner had a Korma (not much to write a review on as it’s baby food) although for what it’s worth, the Mrs said it was very nice. For those who may not know, parking is available to the rear but you need to put your registration plate in the system located next to the bar.

Simply the best place we have ever been , the guys work so hard at giving you 100% service,, if you’ve not tried it ! Then do it The food is fantastic and service wow 🤩

has a really super time at this restaurant last night ! the staff are warm & welcoming - they have a large menu with something for everyone , the food was excellent, on nice warm plates & very reasonably priced , we were even offered a complimentary drink which was a lovely surprise! - going again next saturday night - we enjoyed it so much !

Always fantastic food from this place you’d be stupid to order from anywhere else in Chester as it honestly can’t be beaten for quality.

Asked a polish taxi driver to take us to a really nice Asian styled restaurant. After nearly 8 miles away from our hotel he brought us here. Couldn’t really make anything out of the taste as it was all cooked for the English palate. Anyways the establishment doesn’t sell Halal meats. Luckily we asked. So you have to ask them before ordering. The guy taking our order seemed very confused when we asked him on the authenticity of the Halal meat. But luckily very hesitantly told us to eat the chicken. Anyways we stuck to the veg starters and dishes. I think the only person to get a buzz out of the whole experience was the taxi driver taking us back on a two way fare.

Terrible!! Ordered over the phone waiting over 2hrs told us it was on its way after an hour and a half then rang back and said was never made. Very rude of the phone saying “whatever”. do not recommend

Third or 4th time I’ve been. Good vibe but never quite been on board with the food. Today ended it. We had a gift voucher to spend, and when the wife said half way through “at least we won’t have to come again” that summed it up.
