The staff was rude, didn’t deliver on time and then hang up on me on the phone and the refuse to send me out my food. Will not be going there again waste of time and money

Worst Indian I have ever had. Ordered a delivery off just eat, first off it said would be there half an hour before it was which I didn’t mind but wished they told me the correct time. I than tried the chicken and it was so dry and was hard to swallow, sauce was bland and all my and my boyfriend ate was the mushroom rice. Garlic naan just tasted like bread no seasoning, onion Bhajee I could have drained the oil out so many times. Not satisfied and disappointed. Would like a refund with how hungry we both are. Just awful

Food ord2ed via just eat, 7.20pm. ETA 8PM. it's currently 9.10pm and our food hasn't arrived and the restaurant aren't answering their phone.

I absolutely enjoyed the meal. The service was friendly. The restaurant is neat.

I called to ask if this is halal or not but they said that they don’t need to mention anywhere on shop but chicken meat halal and on internet they said that they do buffet but over the phone he said no, we don’t do. He was so rude not talk much just quickly turn off phone

I popped in to get some take away food for my partner. The guy in the restaurant was very friendly and chatty. Food didn't take long to be ready and my partner said she really enjoyed the food. She uses this one all the time and loves it everytime

It was a delightful experience. We took buffet, and I must say that every item was delicious and authentic. Also, it waa kid friendly. My 3 year old son enjoyed himself. The owner, Mr. Amir, greeted us himself. Would like to go back again.

Absolutely disgusting, service was poor floor was dirty table cloth was dirty , curry had no flavour and no spice to it. Prices are different to the website.

I only gave star less for slower delivery. However, Food was really good. We will return next time.

I'm very surprised. in my life never seen restaurants behave like that. The food was terrible! Definitely won’t be going again. The restaurant's owner was very routed with us, I said can I have 4 bottles of water? he said the water bottles were £1.99 each do you still need them? them. Then I said didn't ask the price. I'm very surprised the owner say that. I ordered one paneer tikka and one mossrom something in the starter. I said the poshen is small and can have another one. He says we do not take your order more because I have another customer. They should have changed the name of the restaurant. They should have to use an angry eye not a hungry eye.

Truly awful, I had two Curry's and both tasted like they were watered down, really disappointing. The rice was even nasty. I can hand on heart say it was the worst curry I have ever had.

Visited a few weeks ago, and it wasn't my 1st choice of place but after being turned down quite a few places on a Sunday evening, me and my partner ended up there. And we both could not be happier that it happened. Warm welcome, after we popped out heads in asking" please don't say you too only do delivery on Sunday". " No no no, please come in, we are open and serving" It was very quiet, but having worked in a restaurant myself, it's not surprising for a Sunday late evening that it's quiet We were seated and quickly given menus. I absolutely loved how we were given time to make our choices, without anyone hovering, asking " you ready to order?" So. Food. Poppadoms... Lovely, and the amount of chutneys they came with was...huge. We actually felt sorry that we did not eat it all because the leftovers will end up in bin. And again, after our starter of poppadoms, the was a nice little break. No one was shoving the food into our face, as many places do because they think that the quicker you get the food out the happier the customer will be. No. I want to eat and enjoy the food, the flavours. Then the main was served. Ohh emm gee. Absolutely beautiful. Full of flavour, and I mean flavour. Not just spice in your mouth. Just gorgeous food you could tell was cooked to the highest of standards. Beautiful bowls of curry full of meat, not some sloppy stuff you have to chase the meat. Anyway,all in all , massive thumbs up and we definitely shall go back!!!!!

We visited this restaurant several times. This time we sat inside booth. It is very nice and safe. Food and service is here always great.

The restaurant owner is rude. The food was cold, the chicken was still pink. On highlighting this to the manager I was called a silly bitch and told to f-off out the restaurant. I have since been vomiting. DO NOT EAT OR ORDER FROM THIS RESTAURANT EVER!!!!

The manager was abusive towards myself. It was clear to me that he does not like females and has a stinking attitude. He called me a silly ***** under his breathe and told me to **** off out his restaurant. Think twice before spending your well earned money at this restaurant. The restaurant stank of bad body oder and the floor was extremely unswept and dirty. The smell and dirtiness matched the personality of the male who claimed was the manager/owner of Hungry Eye, Chatham.

After my daughters MA exhibition at Uni decided on a treat. I had heard about the Eye being a good Indian to try. The average score I gave was because we were the only ones in there except a steady stream of delivery drivers who kept leaving the doors open. Which slowed down our service and the warmth of the food. As my daughter was there I didnt want to spoil the evening by complaining. The food was tasty and cooked well except for the King Prawn Butterfly it was dry and over cooked, the lamb on both dishes was really tender.We had King Prawn Butterfly, Daal Soup, 2 Chicken Tikka Biryani  Lightly spiced mixed with pilau rice & served with mixed vegetable curry, Lamb Rogan Josh medium spiced with tomatoes in a thick sauce, Kashmiri (with banana & coconut), Plain and Garlic Naan,

Have been here before. We have also Ordered takeaways many times. We have always enjoyed the food. Food is always delicious and great service as well.

Passing through Chatham for a weekend and this restaurant had the best reviews, and quite right! We had a sit down meal for 3 and I have no complaints about the food! Genuine athentic Indian cuisine with creamy curries and great customer service! 10/10 would dine here again.

Ordered early to beat the Friday rush but had to wait 2 hours for delivery (1 hour later than the time we were given!) No apology from the driver and the food was luke warm. Called the restaurant twice but they were not very helpful. Will not be ordering from this restaurant again.

the quality of the rotis were appalling, they were not soft to tear instead it felt like we ordered poppadums they just cracked. have taken photos of the rotis, will not be ordering from here again.

Ordered food at 8.45 was stated that would be delivered at 9.15 turned up at 10.35 !!!! to open it up to find one of our curry’s were missing safe to say will not be using this Indian again...by the time my curry turns up rest of dinner is going to be cold ‍♀️!!!

I frequent this special restaurant every couple of days as I love the ambiance that is outline this restaurant. The personel is awfuly loving and professional. The service is certainly fast. Not to mention, the food you eat is exceptionaly good. I have been there many times and I was always satisfied. The expense is decent. I highly suggest this restaurant to all my friends.

Was a poor service. Was told order be with me by 8.50. I called them at 9.15 yes 5 mins order be with you. 9.45 phoned again yes order with you. 9.55 order got to me. Driver couldn't fine my house number even tho he was outside it and house no is lite up. Food was warm not hot. Food was ok. Sorry won't be asking for delivery again from you. Food was fine but don’t expect prompt delivery. When we placed the order we were told there was a 30-50 minute delivery time. We then got confirmation that our delivery would be at 7:25. In fact it arrived 45 minutes later and was cold! Wish they could be honest and say it would take much longer rather than keep us hanging on on false pretences. To add insult to injury, when we called to ask where our order was, no apology offered! Just “your order’s on it’s way”.

Order was very late and after ringing lots of times to find out where are food was the phone was never answered. The food was luke warm when it finally arrived . The sagg aloo had no flavour but the amount of chicken in the curries was excellent but overall not a good take away service maybe better to eat in restaurant.

This difficult time we have eaten in this restaurant. We have four people together eaten here .food was fabulous and service was excellent.

Great food collection, it was very nice and fresh. The restaurant was empty, we were the only table until almost the end where another table joined in. Customer service was ok, the gent made a few mistakes or maybe he didnt understand us, but that was not a huge issue, the online delivery machine was beepting the whole time very loudly, that was very disruptive of our conversations. All in all it was a pleasant experience.there are on street pay parking bays very close by along the street outside.

We love going out. Yesterday we went to this superb restaurant which friends told us about. We passed a beautiful experience there with very good cooking and an efficient team and a great chief cook. We put this restaurant in our phone list and we will certainly return soon. Highly recommended.

Ordered from their website waited 1 hour 45 minutes rung them dozens of times with no answer, decided to go down there to find out they were actually completely shut. Although on their website it was saying they were cooking the food and it would be with me in 30 minutes. Disgusting why say you're open when you're closed just to take my money I will be getting a refund!!

We went in because it looked nice from the outside, was greeted OK, ordered our food from a good menu, it took ages to arrive and as we were the only ones in there, Iasked why the long wait, the reply was because they do a lot of "just eat". wouldn't go again.

I have ordered a Mixed Biryani with Tarka Dhal for takeaway, Taka Dhal smells like out of date and Biryani was plan with 1 pis meat few Prawns and 1 chicken. I had no choice but to chucked the hole food in the bin before I get upset stomach. Got my self Tesco meal deal which tast better then that restaurant food. One state is to much for this restaurant and highly not going to recommend this restaurant.

Waited nearly an hour and a half for it to arrive. Portions are small. Food tastes ok but was not even room temperature. The frozen desserts were in the same bag as the hot food..... or rather dessert. 2 were ordered. Only 1 arrived. The driver said he would bring it back but we knew that was pie in the sky. First time I've used this restaurant. As well as the last.

I placed online order through hungry eye website for collection, when i went there to collect my order restaurant was closed. Called few times no answer, knocked on the door. Very disappointed, will never go back.

Avoid, unless you're into soggy bhajis, leathery lamb and Bombay potatoes like dry par boiled roasties. What's with the garden peas in the claggy rice? Worst Indian I've had in donkey's years!
