Gandhi Tandoori in Medway

Gave this curry house one final try, nothing but disappointment. Been using this curry house for multiple years. Was told 1hr delivery, after 1&1/2hrs still no delivery. No offer of discount. Would avoid

As normal the food was delicious but the delivery was late. When ordered it said 35-50 minutes, after ordering it said 70-85 minutes, final delivery from order time was 105 minutes, shame because the food is great!

It annoys us when Gandhi mark the order as delivered when it reaches the expected delivery time. Once again the delivery is an hour late even though we pre-ordered it before the opening time and there was no update by phone. Poor service.

Food is great but wished they would be honest about delivery time. Showed as delivered on order but when I called, 45 minutes later was told was only just leaving the shop.

Delivered incorrect items, bombay potato was missing and recieved mushroom rice which I didn't order.

Absolutely my go to for a curry. Good amount of meat which is rare, good flavours and the option to have it extra hot with I love.

Late, food was cold and items were ,missing. When ringing the guy was very rude.

Over all this places food is good how ever in times gone by the sauce used to be thicker and there used to be more chicken in the dishes if the restaurant reads these commits please go back to the original recipe as the food quality was alot better and more enjoyable

Having ordered from this place over the last year the last couple of months it has gone downhill in quality. Today I ordered a prawn balti which contained around a dozen prawns and mostly onions. Time to try somewhere else

Food was the usual high standard and arrived in the stated time slot. Only issue was the Diet Coke was warm and had shrunk from the stated 1.5 litres to a 1.25 litre bottle.

The just eat app is saying enjoy but I don’t have my food so not impressed

Delivery took just over 2 hours from order time. App shows delivery at 18.55 but it arrived at 19.45. I had called to question the delivery and was told it was already on the way but it took a further 20 minutes to arrive. Despite asking the shop to check the order before leaving they still managed to deliver full sugar coke rather than the requested diet version. Luckily the food was the usual high standard but we do not appreciate the shop lying about the delivery times to improve its Just Eat rating.

My favourite Indian takeaway has just served up a shockingly bad meal. All I can say that was positive about it was that it was on time. I think maybe it’s time to try an alternative.

Food is always good but takes on average 2 hours to deliver. When you order at 7:30pm be prepared to eat at 9:45pm!

Waited almost 2 hours for stale poppadoms overdone onion Bahia and an average curry at best. Never again.

Used to be the best in Medway but recently had more watery curries from here, and last time had inedible chicken. It was very clear the chicken had been sitting around for a long time, so couldn’t have even a piece. Total waste of money, won’t be returning now.

Chicken was horrendous - rock hard and chewy. Couldn’t eat a piece. The actual curry sauce was watery. Naan tasted generic. A shame, as a few years back was the best curry in town, slowly it’s gone downhill but this was absolutely rock bottom.

This is my favourite local takeaway. The food is always hot and tasty and the portions are generous. I can't order Indian cuisine anywhere else.

Containers and bags the food came in was covered in grease. The chicken was dry and lacked flavour. The onion bhajis were burnt. Over half of my order ended up in the dustbin as it just wasn't very nice at all.

Over 1 hour late and still not arrived. Everytime I chase it is only a few more minutes, but doesn’t arrive.

We haven’t used these for some time after the service got worse and worse. but we thought we would give it ago again… see if they have changed. I can confirm they haven’t. NEVER AGAIN. hardly any meat, missed items out, Was cold Terrible flavour The best thing about this service was the delivery guy. Lesson learnt

Great food but the delays are just getting a joke. On Just eat it says 35 to 50 minutes for delivery. As soon as you order this updates to 1 hour to 1 hour 20 minutes. After waiting for 1 hour 30 minutes I request an update which is another 20 minutes. If revised time is correct, my order would have taken approaching 2 hours. How can yo be so out on your estimated time so frequently. Please have an accurate time on your just eat page, that way I can choose to order or not. I am a loyal customer but getting very tired of ordering at 7pm and eating at 9pm

The flavour was ok but the meat in my dish was tough as old boots

20-25mins late. The food was cold and the driver said he got lost. why don't they just say they are busy but DON'T tell me another storey. DON'T give an ETA if you have No intention of delivering within the times stated. This restaurant used to give a good service but now I just can't trust them.

App says delivered but it wasn’t! Phoned the restaurant and was told 10 more minutes! 10 minutes later and still no food! I was a regular here but after this I’m not anymore! Total shambles!

Great delivery service faster than expected. Downside food was not very good. Korma was not creamy but sickly sweet and sauce was lumpy, Overall all the food ordered was a disappointment all very too sweet and not as anticipated.

First time I’ve ordered from here and first time I’ve ever had to season a takeaway. The food arrived quickly, (20 minutes earlier than expected) but it’s not for us. We found it quite bland and oily. Portion sizes were decent but we didn’t end up eating it all.

Wasn't even updated on delivery time

Was a little disappointed with todays meal, Tandoori King Prawns was mostly onions and for £12 it was not worth the money.. Tandoori Chicken Masala was mostly bone Chicken Tikka Pathia however was very good as previous as was rest of meal

Very unhelpful restaurant when I rang barely spoke first call they said it would be ten minutes second call they said he had only just left. Very disappointed food was good but won’t use them again as customer service was so bad and very late.

Very bad service. Ordered twice through Justeat and both of the times order got cancelled by the restaurant, wasted an hour of our time. They don’t even pick the phones.

Excellent food, quick delivery. We tried other Indian restaurants but Gandhi Tandoori has the best veggie biryani and poppadoms. We don't order from others again!

Food was great. Meal was ordered for a lock down birthday and had to call twice to see what time it was coming. Paid £2 delivery for it to be very late. Don’t mind paying delivery if food comes on time. Not sure if I will order again
