The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

Picked up a takeaway from here for the first time and I will definitely be back. Been looking for a good local Indian for a while and it did not disappoint!

I've tryed mutton masala dosa, it's absolutely fantastic. Will definitely return again.

Postbox is a real gem among Indian restaurants that can be found on the map of London. The owner and staff were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The atmosphere is fantastic and the food is amazing. Called on a spur of the moment but had read reviews previousley, I ordered a meat spinich which had tender meat and of a nice taste, I would say it was a bit on the salty taste. The other dish was a chicken Jalfrezi , at first glance it was colourfull but the sauce was on the watery side, there was a good amount of chicken and I would definatley be calling again. The person behind the counter seemed to be the owner and was cherfull.

Fantastic little restaurant. Bring your own beer too! Value for money is unbelievable. Food is awesome, they also do delivery!!!!

Went with family who'd been before, and had heard wonderful things about the food - all of which were confirmed! Delicious cooking, most especially the baigan & kachumber, Pani Puri, gobi Manchurian and chili paneer. Excellent for sharing, and the staff were really friendly and welcoming. Service was really swift, despite it being a Friday evening and packed. Make sure to book a table, this place is deservedly very popular! I'll definitely be coming back when next I'm in town.

Brilliant service,fantastic staff,and amazing food. The atmosphere is great it's brilliant for all ages including children.

Poisoned and robbed. Only explanation is fake reviews. Average curry at exhaustionate prices. For the prices they charge I expect white table cloths, a full bar, more than 1 waiter and a hot towel following the meal. The environment is pretty grotty too. For a no frills curry the price is too high. £10 for 4 papads and a pickle tray is robery. Avoid

Been here a couple of times and the food is just amazing flavours are so good will definitely be recommending this place to friends and family, staff all very polite special thanks to kammy for accommodating us when we arrived rather late. Thanks guys and all the best

Had a wonderful meal here last night. All from the Vegan section of the menu. Went for the hot versions of each meal. Spicy and tasty. Highly recommended 10/10 👌🏻

It's really a good Indian restaurant.. The staff is really friendly and they serve authentic food. I love this place.
