We spent over £300 and was promised free drinks for everyone from management, they didn’t honour this. Food was mediocre and salty, avoid. Much better places elsewhere. Slow service and over priced. Avoid avoid avoid

The staff here are lovely and the food is the best Indian I have had in a long time. Our party of 3 all enjoyed the poppadoms and dips lovely and crunchy. The veg samosas were lovely and spicy. We all had Rogan Josh the veggie was lovely and spicy and the guys loved the lamb Rogan Josh. The naan breads too were lovely will deffo return and even a cheeky delivery is on the cards. The atmosphere probably just a Wednesday night think but do love to hear background music at all times.

The Indian food here has very mild flavors and is definitely not worth the price. The portions are also quite small for what we paid. We only received three tandoori prawns and three lamb chops, which is very little considering the cost. The lamb chops were dry and chewy, and the mushroom rice tasted like plain rice mixed with a tomato sauce. The sweet lassi was awful, resembling sugar water, and the papadams were soft instead of crunchy. It seemed like they served food that was prepared earlier in the day. Additionally, everything was served cold. We ended up paying £150 in total, which was not worth it at all.

Tasty food. Chef is really good. We had Veg Thalis and My child had Non veg item. All liked the food. Great background Bollywwod songs. Polite staff. Great experience.

One of the best Indian restaurants for North Indian cuisine in and around Altrincham area. Have been here multiple times and have not been disappointed so far. Staff is cordial and very welcoming. Taste of food is authentic. Yet to try non vegetarian cuisine here but very very pleased with the vegetarian food. :)

Food was delivered on time and was always hot. That is where the positives end, the curry was bland and not at all spicey. The rice tasted like microwave packet rice. The trio of chicken was three stingey pieces of chicken. Very very poor.

We visited this restaurant on a rare trip away after reading many positive reviews. We were treated to one of the best Indian dining experiences we have ever had. The staff were very friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful. The food was utterly exceptional, and authentic; no lazy curry here! Each dish had a specific flavour profile and was totally delicious. Highlights for me were the Gunpowder potatoes and the Chicken Biryani (see pics). The portions were generous and really good value for money - not cheap, but really good food never is. My only quibble is something the restaurant cannot do anything about; I live too far away and can’t make it my ‘local’. Exceptional!!

First time, so we ordered a takeaway. Service was lightening quick and the food was 'as good as it gets'. In fact it was probably the best takeaway food we have had from any local Indian restaurant for a long time. 4 stars instead of 5, because you are slightly overpriced and considerably more expensive than your very local competition for life-for-like dishes. There was no salad with the onion bhaji's also. However you could argue that the extra cost maybe worth it for a overall better tasting meal. We will certainly try a sit-down in the restaurant at some point. Well done.

Absolutely delicious! My Wife and I went for our anniversary dinner on Monday. The gentleman serving us was extremely attentive and friendly and always around for anything we needed. The food was delicious, portions were very generous and a huge range of choice, definitely something there for everyone! Will happily go back there again and again! It's a very good restaurant. The service is also very nice...they are very professional and do there best to satisfy the customer. we like to eat some real Indian tasty food and not a modified version....India palace always makes sure that we get to eat authentic Indian food. The owner is a very nice person . Whenever I have any party at my house I would place the food order with India palace and they deliver just delicious food with starters and desert just as ordered and on time. The price is reasonable. I would rate it 5 star .

India Palace is an excellent restaurant. Very authentic Indian food, clean, affordable and a pleasant atmosphere. Excellent for families and group. I have been there twice now and very pleased both times. Authentic Indian restaurants are hard to find, but very glad that we have one right here in Timperley.

Excellent service and food. We were warmly greeted upon arrival and quickly offered drinks. The food menu was really interesting which combined some traditional dishes with those I had not heard of before. We were a table of 3 and everyone loved all starters and main courses - we even ordered a Takeway for my daughters boyfriend as he couldn’t make it and we didn’t want him to miss out! Our first visit, but certainly not the last!

Quality of food needs improvement, ordered items were not up to the mark though atmosphere was good.

Great place, on delivery and eat-in. We live local and have eaten delivery many times. Ate in a couple times now and not been disappointed either time. Most recent we were hungover and ordered the pani poori, butter chicken, chicken tikka, pilau rice and garlic naan. Everything was spot on and setvice was friendly and attentive. They also have a great lunch street food menu. 10/10 would recommend 👍🏻

It was an amazing experience both the times when we visited the restaurant. The first ever Indian restaurant with authentic indian food. Absolutely loved the service, the food, and the atmosphere. It's a must recommended place from my end. especially my favourite "prawn chilli."

It's amazing place to eat. Very authentic Indian food. Amazing chef and food with great hospitality from front of house staff Kazi and Joseph. I would rate a 10 in terms of authentic Indian food. Would suggest everyone to try if you are looking for Indian food.

Service was really poor. 2 staff on. We asked for a red wine and were given white. The starter platter was FAR too spicy. We ordered a lamb rogan josh for main and it tasted and smelt like beef in gravy!! So so disappointed. The staff were not very accommodating with our complaint. Very disappointing for a valentines night meal. Sorry India Palace!

Went with a group of friends last night and the meal was excellent - we had mixed veg & non-veg starters then Lamb Kudai which was very tasty and spicy. Service was great, staff here are very friendly and helpful and I considered the meal and drinks to be good value for money. Will definitely be going back soon!

Its hard to find an authentic Indian restaurant. Indian Palace serves food which is really authentic. Non veg starters which I tried is delicious especially the sea food platter. Service is good and ambience is nice. Will highly recommend to visit.

Had heard this was a decent Indian. Ordered a take out and at first glance was pleased to see that the curries weren’t multi coloured which is usually a good sign. However. Bang average curry, they appear to be made from the same base curry and was best described as bland. Eg. The Jalfrezi was absent of visible ingredients such as tomato coriander and chilli. There are better alternatives locally at their prices. Disappointed and unfortunately cannot recommend. .

A lovely first visit after many personal recommendations, and we were not disappointed! The freshly made garlic naan best in the area. The service was very attentive and nothing too much trouble. We will be back!

Unexpectedly, fabulous food. Everything was authentic and very pleased to have dropped by. very good service.

We chose this restaurant as it was local and had excellent reviews. Despite a warm welcome and pleasant surroundings, the food and experience was poor. I suppose the menu was a give away, with descriptions of food being inaccurate and inaccurate pricing. Our party of 4 all ordered onion bhaji, all of which were served frozen in the middle. These were replaced, but with no explanation or apology. The main courses were served warm at best, one chicken dish being completely cold and had to be reheated. The sizzling chicken dish ordered turned out to be a chicken steerer, as they had no sizzling platters …. At no point did anyone come to check if out food was OK, having to call on staff to point out issues. Our bill came to £113 and I offered to pay £80, which I thought was reasonable in the circumstances. The manager disputed this, pointing out that the sub standard food was replaced. He didn’t seem to grasp the poor level of overall service. He told me he had never had a complaint before, which seems unlikely given their current 3 level score from the food hygiene agency. The manager reluctantly agreed to accept £80, but no apology whatsoever. I appreciate this may be an unfortunate one off, but certainly not fresh food being served and lack of customer service on our visit.

Food is good but chef loves salt, excessive in every dish especially Manchurian. Laccha parantha was not cooked properly.yiu can taste raw flour. Could have made dishes more spicy Starters were good but mains in vegetarian was not up to standard. May go again but no promises

2nd time ordering from here, was missing an item the first time but the food was good so decided to give it another try, missing items again, rang and was told would be 10 mins for the item, 50 minutes later and several calls it arrived. The rest of the food was ruined by this time so had to order something else. A real shame as the food is really good

New favourite local Indian restaurant India palace on Manchester road Chicken Saagwala, gunpowder potatoes, tandoori broccoli, pilau rice and crispy garlic Nan plus we had onion bhaji that are that delicious they didn’t make the photos 🤷‍♂️😂😂 apparently one of the chefs is ex dishoom hence some of the magic in the dishes. Also great value for money 😋😋

Have been here few times now but I must say every time I have been to this place it has always exceeded my expectations. I would say if you are craving for indo Chinese this is the place to go. The only moan I have it that there was no ice in our drinks, as ice cold drinks are what you need when having a curry, but everything else was perfect.

First time visiting and the place is as the reviews say - fantastic and delicious. Highly recommend non-veg platter as a starter (camera missed the plate!). Delicious and generous portions. Butter chicken, aloo gosht, tandoori roti, garlic naan, salty lassi, poppadoms and gulam jaman to finish. Recommend each dish. Really friendly team too.

Wow .the best Indian meal we have ever had . We were 4 adults and 2 children.and had a variety of dishes.all of them were superb . The staff are very friendly and attentive .Would definitely return and highly recommend.

After reading the reviews we decided to book this restaurant as we were unfamiliar to the local restaurants here. We arrived from London and the restaurant was not so busy but yet we found a lot of discrepancies maybe short staffed the staffed and not so well trained and the manager should have stepped in and couldn’t even serve the right wine on the table - white wine was sent and I requested rose wine which came 35 minutes late with the excuse I wish not to repeat here! We were a family of 10 but as much as the food was late on our table the prawns were excellent, naan breads hot and Manchurian was good everything else I would say below or average, the order given to the waiter 4-5 items were missing and embarrassing to keep telling them we decided to remove some items eventually. I asked for a courtesy discount when the price on the menu also noticed mid- prints and the price on the receipt when checked was different he then said it was a mis-print I’m glad I’m not a local here because this service was embarrassing and poor. My ask and recommendation is of the management to improve service, reduce items on menus the size of the menus are Ridiculous improve to be more timely, listen to the customers and check what’s on the table! Accept faults and delays at least and If a few things were out of place I can understand but we wanted to spend a nice evening with our family which ended up reviewing service and standards there were several errors! I’m from London and this service would not have been a bill. Give them a go but be warned to make sure they improve or be honest in you’re future reviews people!

Ordered takeout from India Palace this evening, I originally wanted to order a vegetable thali however this wasn’t available for takeout, so instead I had the mutter paneer which I can honestly say is the tastiest curry I have ever had. Everything was so fresh tasting and authentic. We will certainly be ordering again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The food here is amazing. Its authentic, and its like no other indian food ive tasted before. It is super fresh tasting with nothing artificial. This place definitely stands out from the rest. Its special. Ive been here numerous times and I cannot fault it. Its the best I've ever tasted. The service is 5 star, staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome.

Our usual place to order authentic indian food whenever we visited Manchester for short trips. The service is good and food is very delicious, always served the foot hot and fresh.

This is the second time we’ve visited this restaurant, and just like last time it was excellent. Food delicious and staff very helpful and friendly. Nice decor inside and very clean. Could not fault it 10/10. 👍😀
