Orderd a takeaway from here food came hot , lovely flavour best curry I have tasted in a long while , will deffo be ordering from you again.

We came here based on the reviews, there was nothing awful about the food but didn't taste like it was made fresh and the chicken had very little flavour. Perhaps we have been spoiled by other local Indian restaurants. Both out dishes were bland. The service was a bit OTT with six or seven visits to the table focussed on upselling, Rather surprised we had to specify poppadoms and dips rather than coming out complimentary. Inside was clean but again bland.. focussed on branding not art. Wouldn't come again under the same management/chef.

We ordered from here after spending months looking for a new Indian takeaway after the one we were using closed down. The food was delicious and arrived nice and warm. We'll definitely be ordering from here again!

If I could eat here every day, I would. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience. Although I do have one thing to add: In the year 1882, somewhere near the delta of the Arpangasia river, a prophecy was told that in almost exactly 100 years, a family would establish a culinary empire like the world had never seen. It was foretold that people would travel from all over the world to have their taste buds tingled from a symphony of meats, vegetables, herbs and spices unlike anything that had come before. 100 years passed and this prophecy faded from memory, as no such establishment arose in the area, but I believe it is no coincidence that in 1982 Mr Mashuk's Curry House was founded and remains to this day. I think the prophecy did come true, the only thing that wasn't foretold was the location.

I'm very sorry to write a poor review but I've ordered food here several times in the hope that I'll have better luck with the dishes as the rating is high. Today and previous times the food has been so poor I felt I had to write. The chicken tikka masala was sweet and a bright pinkish-red the colour of a raspberry, the lamb Rogan Josh clearly just had a can of tomatoes tipped of the top. Neither had any real flavour. The okra was only partially cooked and the onion bhaji was at least a day old. If the dishes we ordered aren't available, please take them off the menu. I recommend a smaller menu altogether as I suspect some dishes must be good and fresh but it's like Russian roulette ordering from here. No fun and finally lost my business.

This is our favourite restaurant- amazing food, lovely atmosphere and always a warm welcome. Delicious Indian food, great value. Would not go anywhere else :)

Amazing atmosphere made you feel like apart of the family, king prawn tikka masala was incredible definitely worth coming here if your in Bristol. More fun when the weather alert goes off.

It was a great experience. I would like to say thanks to Ali and Hassan for their exceptional service. I don't like Indian restaurants in Bristol, as most of them claiming they are authentic India restaurant and you will find they are not serving quality food, but here they have served us really quality food. I like their biryani.

We were very welcomed there! Came on a rainy night, was struggling to find parking but the servers noticed and let us parked in their driveway. Was a great experience overall, everyone was very friendly there, food was above average. Four of us shared 3 mains, were all very filled and loved all the different kinds of curry. Great experience, would come back if we visit this area again.

Curry era unos trozos de pollo en lo que era efectivamente salsa picante, completamente suave sin textura en absoluto. Se suponía que era una patología, pero no había sabor agridulce. Pathia es mi curry favorito, pero esto fue horrible. El arroz estaba bien y naan ok también, realmente no puede ir mal con ellos. Todo estaba bastante bien cuando se entregó. Nunca más volvería a sacar un curry de aquí aunque me lo dieran gratis.

Visitamos la casa Curry viernes 1 de noviembre calle para una comida de cumpleaños de celebración con nuestros 3 hijos adultos y nuestra hija - en la ley. Uno de nuestros chicos tiene alergia a la proteína de la leche por lo que es incapaz de consumir nada con lácteos en ella (tiene Epi - plumas para ello) sin embargo, una vez que se dio cuenta Hassan, Rob & Ali fueron extremadamente atentos a sus necesidades. Hassan pasó unos buenos 10-15 minutos con mi hijo y conmigo revisando todo el menú, que es enorme, haciéndole saber a mi hijo qué opciones, desde titulares, laterales hasta la red eléctrica, pudo tener. Una vez que mi hijo eligió su comida Hassan se ofreció para que la viera cocinada (mi hijo decidió no mirar) y luego Hassan tomó personalmente los detalles de su comida y la supervisó de la cocina a la mesa. Ali tomó nuestros grupos restantes orden y como por lo general era igual de amable. Una vez que nuestros hijos habían cocinado la comida sin lácteos Hassan se aseguró de servir la comida a nuestro hijo mismo. Ali sirvió al resto de nosotros nuestra comida y como de costumbre todo era absolutamente precioso. Como padres de un niño con alergias siempre nos resultó extremadamente difícil comer fuera, ya que no en todas partes era tan consciente. Como adulto, mi hijo rara vez come porque encuentra que muchos lugares no son muy complacientes. SIN EMBARGO, la casa Curry obtiene las mejores calificaciones por ser extremadamente amigable con las alergias. Gracias chicos por tomar el estrés habitual y la preocupación de comer fuera, honestamente hace el mundo de la diferencia y no podemos agradecer lo suficiente.

We visited the Curry house Friday Nov 1st for a celebratory birthday meal with our 3 adult sons and our daughter-in-law. One of our boys has an allergy to Milk protein so is unable to consume anything with dairy in it (has Epi-pens for it) however once made aware of it Hassan, Rob & Ali were extremely attentive to his/our needs. Hassan spent a good 10-15 minutes with both my son and myself going through the whole menu, which is huge, letting my son know which options from starters, sides through to mains he was able to have. Once my son had chosen his meal Hassan offered for him to view it being cooked (my son decided not to watch) and then Hassan personally took the details of his meal and oversaw it from Kitchen to table. Ali took our groups remaining order and as usually was just as friendly. Once our sons dairy free meal had been cooked Hassan made sure he served the meal to our son himself. Ali served the rest of us our food and as usual everything was absolutely gorgeous. As a parent of a child with allergies we always found it extremely difficult to eat out when he was growing up as not everywhere was as aware. As an adult my son rarely eats out because he finds that many places aren’t very accommodating HOWEVER the Curry house score top marks for being extremely allergy friendly. Thank you guys for taking the usual stress and worry if eating out away, it honestly makes the world of difference and we can’t thank you enough.

Normalmente no me molestaría en escribir una crítica, pero realmente sentí que tenía que hacerlo para esto. Todo lo que puedo decir es 10 de 10 por la calidad del servicio, la comida era increíble 😋 y fácilmente el mejor curry que he probado en los últimos 5 años! y ha habido bastantes! Been here a while ago and they have a great reputation with takeaways.the whole restaurant has been updated and is excellent. The service is just perfect and great fun with the front of house managers. This really is a great and the oldest curry house in Bristol who have kept up the high standards and will definitely be visited again !!! Soon !!!’

Such a lovely tasty fresh meal. I had the curry with butter bran and it came with rice and naan bread. It is all so fresh and tasty. My husband had chefs special, wow so so good. The staff are so lovely and friendly and really take time to get to know what you like like. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the chairs are so comfy. definitely worth a visit. Thank you for making us feel so welcome.

10/10. We've had a few takeaways from here and I just had my second dine in. The food is always exquisite, perfect portion sizes, just delicious. As a vegetarian I love the a la catre idea as it means no one steals my food! And means no over ordering on sides - avoiding any waste. Love the team who run this, who are so kind, friendly and good at what they do. I walk past every day too and from work and every day I wish I could go for a curry here...

My mum and I are visiting from the Isle Of Man and staying in the hotel down the road. We visited the restaurant on the first night of our trip, Ali and Rob were so welcoming and the food was that incredible, that we just had to visit again tonight for our last night in Bristol! Nothing was too much trouble, and the atmosphere was lovely! We would highly recommend and we will be back! Thanks for the dancing too 😜😍 x

Visited on a whim for the first time tonight as we were in the area, I called to ask if there was a table and they fitted us in. Service was amazing, staff lovely. We had the chicken Malaya which was amazing with the best Keema naan and perfectly cooked onion bahjis. Might be our new favourite! Will definitely visit again :)

Great curry, and it certainly deserves the positive publicity it has received. There was a large group of guys (a team or something) out for dinner, and whilst they were well mannered, etc...it slightly inhibited our evening, but generally the atmosphere was great 👍

Every time I’ve been here the service was absolutely amazing down to the staff to the owner They make you feel so welcoming couldn’t wish for a better place to be. The food is some of the best Indian cuisine you can get and i am very fussy. Presentation is amazing. Always recommend with going with there house specials as they are amazing. This is my go to curry house and always am impressed with it. However, last night we ordered the usual, and was told it would be there within the house, however after an hour and a half it wasn’t here. I called and was told the driver is very busy…. Aren’t we all. Luckily the food arrived. However, all the dishes were cold or luke warm so did not enjoy what so ever.

I popped into curry house last week on the way home from the golf course. I ordered my usual which consisted of a chicken vindaloo, mushroom rice, peshwari naan, onion salad and mango chutney. I was greeted with a very warm welcome by the lovely fellows that work there. I sat down for a nice pint of kingfisher whilst I waited for my order, the restaurant was fairly busy and had a very vibrant and happy atmosphere. 10-15 mins passed by and my order arrived, I took it home and tucked in, I have to say that it was by far the best curry I’ve had in years, it was absolutely delish. I’ll be ordering from curry house regularly from now on, the service and food was impeccable. Thank you guys I’d give 10 stars if I could :)))-

So glad we went here. From the initial call to confirm a booking to the service and the food, everything was first class. Rob and his team are polite, friendly and have a sense of humour. The interior is light modern and exceptionally clean. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff take real pride in the food and make the customers feel very welcome. We booked based on the reviews and I’m so glad we did. We will be back for sure.

I just had the best takeaway from here ever! Really delicious food and friendly delivery driver! My only complaint is the food could have been a bit hotter but its a Saturday night and I understand its very busy! Fantastic food. I highly reccomend this place! Also very reasonable prices.

We was staying Bristol in the local area so never booked.....So when passing by from the outside you could tell The place was Busy.(Which shows it's popular ☺️).By the laughter and lovely smells coming from the restaurant.. On the off chance myself and partner asked if a table for two was available at such short notice.... We didn't mind waiting so asked to return in Half an hour. Coming from up North and travelling quite a lot for work I've found ir hard to get a curry like we do in Bradford. On entering tonight and after been greeted with a warm welcome I discusses this with the staff who did say they would try their best not to disappoint and ill tell you what they didn't. Excellent tasting food with the right amount of spice I asked for. Take it from A Bradford lad. The place is well worth trying. The decor of on point too

Tonight we decided to try something new and instead of going to our usual Indian restaurants in and around Yate, we found Curry House on Trip Advisor as highly rated and were not disappointed. The food was excellent and served in inventive ways (no spoilers, but great if you’re a popadom & pickles fan) that made it different and stayed really warm throughout. The service was really welcoming and friendly and the decor was modern and very comfortable. An excellent experience, thanks!!

Our family of 5 just had a delicious dinner here , absolutely lovely . The interior is modern and immaculate and the guys that run it are just so nice ! Very helpful with regard to our youngest being dairy intolerant. She’s also a fussy eater but really enjoyed the chicken tikka . Highly recommend, also family friendly . Nice little place for delicious Indian food, when you feel down or you want to have tasty meal that’s the place to go. Great selection of food and drinks, good service and food shopping as fantastic. Definitely would go back. Prices were good too and service was quick. It was a bit busy so might need to book a t table next time. If you love your spices and want to have flavourful and aromatic food you should try this place.

Went here before Xmas, great vibe, very busy so book in advance. They do things slightly differently in that when you order a curry you get a naan and rice with it, slight downside when you want to have more curries you get all the extras too. Would highly recommend. Price wise it's standard, think as a group we spent 30 quid each.

This has to be the best in Bristol. Been using them for the past few months and have never had a bad meal from them. Whether collecting or delivered they are friendly, and when delivered is always on time and food is still hot. If you want a curry that never fails to be the best then this is the one!

First time ordering tonight. Spoke to a gent called Ibrahim on the phone very helpful and even suggested a curry to try that I haven’t tried before! It was amazing! Very Spicy just how I like it!

I visit the curry house as least twice a year as I go to Bristol from Cornwall on business and I've always found the food fantastic I look forward to my visit and I have recommended it to loads of people.

Service amazing, both in the restaurant and booking beforehand- they went above and beyond with a few phone calls to book and we felt so well looked after during the meal in a normal, relaxed manner. Sometimes the platitudes sound read from a script; not here. Food suited all of us, with a wide variety of spiciness wants. V. lovely evening all round.

This was my first visit to the curry house, and it was truly exceptional. The food was absolutely delicious, some of the best I've tasted in the UK in the past two years. The flavors were outstanding, and the presentation of the dishes was top-notch. Furthermore, the prices were reasonable, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, displaying a high level of professionalism. I can't stop thinking about the delectable dishes, and I'm eagerly anticipating my next visit to explore more of their menu.

Friday night curry with the Mrs. Love this place! In my opinion the best Indian restaurant in Bristol. Food is fantastic and staff make you feel like part of the family. Ali is so attentive and engaging just a shame he doesn’t eat spicy food!

We hadn't pre booked but they still managed to squeeze us in even though it was a friday night and they were busy. Very friendly. The food was beautiful, had the chefs special, with mushroom rice and keema nan, and a chicken korma with mushroom rice and mushroom bhaji. And I can honestly say they were the best currys we have ever had. Would highly recommend and will definitely be going back the next time we visit the area. 5 stars all the way.

Absolutely fantastic! I’ve been before and loved it but have never taken the kids (2 under 10yrs old). They can be a bit picky and knew there wasn’t a kids menu so was prepared for them to just have some chips, rice, and try some...

Really can't rate the Curry House as I would have liked despite the really great service. Unfortunately, the food was a real disappointment with all the dishes we had being mediocre in both taste and portion size. I'm a real fan of Lamb Naga, which alway have with Pilau rice and chapatis. I'm afraid the pieces of lamb I had in my dish were both small and tasteless, and the Naga sauce lacked that unique Mr Naga flavour and kick. The chapatis were cut into triangles. The only reason for this seemed to be because they would have been seen to be what they were, very small. Again, although presented nice, the rice portion was one of the smallest I ever had. Great service, very disappointing food.

Me and my wife have been coming here for 7+ years both dining in and for takeaway. The food is always spot on and is presented amazingly. Staff are genuinely lovely and can't do enough for you. Cheers guys!
