I've always liked this place but recently they have upped their game. Fantastic curry and sides, great website for ordering. Rapid delivery

Normally order from here. Never again ordered omelette,chips korma Kema pakora and some sides , First omelette semi raw inedible chips uncooked and slimy korma half a portion to normal samosa chewy and an off taste. Naan bread burnt pakora breaded chicken , not what I ordered only thing that could of been eaten was rice and the drinks everything else went in bin reported to FSA for food quality issue never ever going here again disgrace

I’ve been searching for a replacement for my local that closed down over lockdown. This place gets good word of mouth but sorry to say it was bang average; mediocre even.

Ordered take away on a Saturday night via JustEat… waited well over an hour, but when the food came it was delicious. Ordered a mix of sides and curry to share and everything was tasty. My favourite Indian on Church Road!

Food is delicious, portions are big. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Excellent quality and taste for great price. One of my favourite restaurants ever ❤️

Wow! Unbelievable emotional rollercoaster and wonderful food. I’m all about the experience, and this certainly did not disappoint. Wow! Anyway, I digress. We entered, greeted by the host who offered to take our coats, we accepted the challenge. Sat down and ordered while our mate went to get beers, as u do. Food came, and although the food was amazing, the plate putting downing was a little strange. I liked it tho. Yummy food, we got the bill and payed. We were then handed after 8’s. You’ll never guess what! Rueben ate his at 7:59, now we’re all going to hell. Fantastic, we go to leave and as we do, a delivery driver squares up to me and says “oi mate”. The other deprivy driver says “no the other one”. So we still don’t know who they wanted to spar with and why. But I can’t wait for next time. 5 stars. 50p barstard!

Came here tonight for a meal with my partner. Everything was perfect down the service and food. Can recommend the butter chicken, it was lovely. The server was also very friendly and polite and made us feel very welcome

Absolutely gorgeous Chicken korma, perfect sauce, coconut bite throughout, tender chicken. Lovely garlic naan lots of flavour. I definitely found my perfect Indian for when I visit Bristol again. And very quick delivery 😁 one happy customer 👍

Really fantastic food. Particularly recommend the badjhi and there mango chicken. Very well presented and with loads of flavour. They also have a unique coconut crumble that goes with the popadoms

The best onion bhajis I have ever had in my life. I wish I could eat more of their food in one sitting, it was so tasty and incredibly reasonably priced, the staff were so friendly and lovely. Bring your own booze, toilet available. Plenty of vegetarian and meaty options available. I cannot recommend this place enough, take away or eat in, just please eat here.

Such a great place. I'm vegetarian and lots of options. Really nice food and very friendly stay. I've had take away and eaten in and enjoyed both experiences. Look forward to eating here again.

Absolutely vile!! Very Dissapointed as used to be quite nice. Garlic rice burnt, chicken madras was very watery and no flavour at all. The only thing we could taste was salt in everything. Very unpleasant! Such a shame.

We have been finding it hard to enjoy a good Indian lately I wasn’t sure if I was better at cooking a curry or the other restaurants in the area have got worse. I liked the look of the menu it had a personal touch to the dishes. I had a shashlick with a tasty sauce the mrs had the usual tikka masala but said it was much better than any she’d had for a long time. Mine was amazing and the kids loved the butter chicken we will definitely be ordering from them again thank you for a lovely meal 🙏🏼

Whenever we come up from London to visit my sister in Bristol we always order a takeaway from Curry Mahal and have never been disappointed. It always arrives on time. Food is delicious plenty of it n always hot would never try anywhere else .

Words can not describe how good the curries are here. Being a ex frequent to brick Lane curry houses in London this is on par / better.

First class food. Great price. Meat is so tender. Easy to order online and accurate delivery times. Now I’ve found this place won’t go anywhere else for Indian food. Delivery driver is very polite too.

I haven’t had a curry this delicious in years. The flavours were just brilliant. Have now found my local curry place which is just down the road.

My favourite Indian, plenty of juicy meat in the dishes, lovely flavours! Great service wether dining in (Pre lock down) or take away! I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Great value for money and a great dining experience.

The first time we ordered from that takeaway and I would say that the dishes were very nice and tasty. However, the prices are bit high compared to the places around the aria. The difference is £2+ which I think is too high for the taste of the dishes. I will probably order from them again, but with that prices, not too sure.

We’ve tried a few Indian restaurants near us and nothing comes close to how well these guys cook their chicken - really tender and tasty! Would highly recommend the chicken tikka dishes. Staff always very friendly too

Seriously good Indian in St George, well priced, well cooked food especially lamb dish called lamb lal masala I think. Excellent service too. Can't fault it

Ordered a takeaway via just eat a few weeks ago and just defrosted and ate the leftovers (we over ordered!). Awesome Jalfrezi, hottest we've had from anywhere for a while. Really good flavour and quality lamb. Saag paneer was flavoursome and not sickly sweet like some places. Will definitely order again, we've been struggling to find a really good takeaway that delivers and think we've found it now!

Visited the curry mahal with family this evening and will be sure to come again! A lovely atmosphere and friendly and accommodating staff (they couldn’t do enough for us). The food was tasty,fresh, hot and arrived in no time. A very good setting for us all to relax and catch up and overall great value for money!

Excellent. Very good Indian restaurant - a wide range of well prepared and cooked dishes + friendly and attentive staff. If you live in east Bristol you won’t find better.

I’m a regular at Curry Mahal. The food is always great and keeps me and my friends coming back. The service is great, with the server willing to explain each curry and give suggestions based on personal preference. It’s also bring your own alcohol, and they are happy to store our drinks in the fridge until we want them. The food is good quality, recommend the chicken bhuna!

Lovely meal straight from work with friends. The Portion sizes are great and it’s really Good value for money.

Brilliant host, super friendly everytime i go there when my dad comes down to visit Bristol. Food is spectacular and they've got an extra to the poppadom chutney tray that I've never experienced before and it bloody delicious

Ordered meal for 6 people, was delivered a bit early but we kept warm in oven so no real issue, food was delicious and my guests were very impressed, 2 naan breads were missing off order but the staff quickly sorted this and redelivered too us, not one complaint, superb food and great customer service

Delicious food, butter chicken was super buttery and the chicken pieces were nice and tender, definitely not dry! Peshawari naan was very nice and buttery as well. Saag aloo was slightly spiced up,nice to change the flavour after the sweet butter sauce. Very fast and attentive service, definitely will be coming back for more.

Incredible food, pleasant decor. Quite a small quiet place, but the service is very attentive and quick without being over intrusive. Had butter chicken which was amazing! Would recommend and would come back myself.

This place has such great potential, the food and service was top notch, it was small and cozy so it felt like being at home, really clean and friendly staff, must do alot of delivery service as I kept seeing alot drivers hop in then back out but nothing beats a fresh hot curry served while dining in. Guys thank you for the suprise birthday candle for our cake as my Mrs had left them at home. See you guys soon for sure

Visited after a recommendation Literally the best Indian food I’ve ever tasted Asked for a starter that wasn’t on the menu and it came out better than I’d ever had before! (And i always ask for it!) My partner had the same starter he always has and again it was the best he’d had The chef obviously puts love into his food because the flavours and presentation were fantastic The waiter couldn’t of been better and offered things we hadn’t thought to request! Forget location. If it’s nice food you want this is the place to go!
