Poisoned and robbed. Only explanation is fake reviews. Average curry at exhaustionate prices. For the prices they charge I expect white table cloths, a full bar, more than 1 waiter and a hot towel following the meal. The environment is pretty grotty too. For a no frills curry the price is too high. £10 for 4 papads and a pickle tray is robery. Avoid

First time in this restaurant and what a wonderful evening. Food was absolutely delicious from starter to main. Big portions so I did not left the place hungry. Atmosphere was amazing. Little bit of dancing and singing. Highly recommend best curry in Bristol.

First thing to say is that I CANT WAIT to come here again! Had a brilliant meal here last night The staff were amazing, funny and entertaining, explaining the food and super friendly! We were here for my friends birthday and they were really attentive and bought out a little cake for her and a candle. We also enjoyed the celebrations of the other tables who were treated the same! We all loved the traditional dancing lessons in between courses! Food was fantastic. I had the recommended dish - garlic chilli with lamb which of course I enjoyed. Had mushroom rice and peshwari nan to accompany. Can't wait to return, I was telling everyone about this place this morning! I have actually eaten here before- had takeaway, and even then the staff were great, offering us a beer gratis while we waited! I'll never go anywhere else!

Food was gurt lush (especially chicken)had mixed grill.. Nice bit of banter from staff.also.. Highly recommend..

Great small curry place on coronation Rd. Food is as you'd expect traditional curry & sides. Staff are super attentive & friendly been here a lot over the years. Has a strong regular crowd of loyal customers. Saw a few takeaways being picked up but we've always eaten in. On match days gets very busy.

This place is incredible, you wouldn't know from the outside but the owner/staff are unbelievably helpful and caring, and the food is absolutely top rate.

The food really isn't that special. It's quite bland and watery (not much meat) however the restaurant is so much fun. Waiter/owner very entertaining. I would recommend if you want a laugh or some fun atmosphere

Top disco curry house. Go here for a good time and be ready to select the playlist. Picked us up in a car as the footbridge was closed - top service from a top character. Go and enjoy!

A small but super friendly Indian restaurant within walking distance of Ashton Gate football stadium We were greeting with a warm smile and a genuine welcome. The food was tasty, especially the onion bhaji starters and the fresh chilli dip to accompany the poppadoms. The Nan breads were light and fluffy. Certainly worth a visit pre or post match.

Good Indian with authentic cuisine. I had a “very hot” chicken vindaloo. No comparison to the levels of spiciness adapted to continental European palates! Here, spicy is still really spicy. There was nothing wrong with my family's dishes either. Also worth highlighting is the excellent and attentive service and the owner with entertainer qualities. I would also give 6 stars for the service and the “offered supporting program”. The restaurant looks extremely inconspicuous from the outside (tip: don't be put off!), but the true size is revealed inside.

Great place. A real gem in Bristol. The service was out of this world. Without a doubt the best service I've ever had in my life. They really looked after you. The curry was top notch if a little pricey, but the people inside were great. Real salt of the earth type place.

Called in for an evening meal, had the seekh kebab to start and lamb bhoona for my main, both were nicely spiced and flavorful, the naan bread was also very good. The downsides are the above mentioned refusal to take card payments, pretty unforgivable for a modern restaurant and doesn't give a great impression. The other thing was the music, a member of staff asked if we minded if he put some on and we were fine with it, but he then put on the same 4 Abba songs on endless repeat! This was actually pretty funny but Fernando starts to grate on the 5th play.

Yesterday me and my husband celebrate 15th wedding anniversary. We went to Coronation curry house for a meal. This was perfect choice. Very welcoming and helpfull staff advised which option gonna be better for us (we don't like too spicy food ) . Everything there was amazing ( food, staff, atmosphere). We had really lovely time there.

This is a surprisingly homey place that punches above it's weight compared to what it looks like on the street. The food was excellent (Dal & Paneer), but personally I prefer more char on my naan. The staff is present and engaging, we'll definitely be back!

Best curry house in Bristol and the friendliest owner in the world, who really loves what he does. We no longer live in Bristol but when we come back this is the first place we go to. So delicious.

Brought the kids while on half-term holiday in Bristol. Cannot recommend highly enough. Every neighbourhood needs one of these curry houses. An effervescent front of house man- beautiful food, attentive service. Samosas were beautiful. The Dhal Makhani was superb. 5 stars. My son even made a sign while there denominating it a 5-star restaurant.Friendky staff. Funny staff.

Best curry and amazing atmosphere.

Having had a few takeaways from CCH over the years I knew the food was good, but tonight went in for an early dinner with the kids (introducing them to the joys of a good curry) Food was fabulous, there was a lovely atmosphere, and the service was great (although “service” seems an unfair understatement… as it feels more like being hosted by a an old friend, even as first-time visitors). Goes without saying that we will be going back soon!

The food here is consistently delicious. Perhaps the best curry I have ever had. The staff are also all lovely and the vibes inside are immaculate. A true hidden gem of Bristol!!

Simply the best Indian restaurant in Bristol. My fourth visit and it's always such a fabulous experience. Great food; great service and the greatest host you'll ever meet.

Well it was experience. Definitely came out feeling a bit like “what just happened?” Food: It was ok. I love a vegetable biryani so have had a few and this was definitely not the best. It wasn’t on the menu but they were more than happy to do it and suggested adding paneer. Atmosphere and service: The front of house guy is very friendly and very attentive. But kinda to the point of cringe and sometimes intrusion on our conversations. The announcing of different (very cheesy) songs for particular tables and customers made it feel like he wants to be a disco DJ. Also if you’re playing music, at least pay for the music service so we don’t have to hear adverts.

This is the best curry place in Bristol. The starters are amazing, the curry’s are amazing and so is the owner. This is coming from someone who lives near Birmingham as well.

Had an amazing time at the Coronation curry house! It was a friends 30th birthday and they were amazing hosts and the curry was 10/10! The samosas were also amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and the cobras were always flowing! I would highly recommend for any birthdays or even just any meal!! It was really good!
