I had a delightful visit to Indian Junction yesterday, where the well-maintained ambience and attentive service set the perfect mood. The signature Chilli Chicken was absolutely amazing, bursting with flavor. Every other dish we tried was equally tasty, making for a satisfying meal.

We literally stumbled across this place by chance and have to say it’s best Indian restaurant we’ve ever been to. Amazing, interesting food… great job !!

This is my second visit and just as good as I remember from my first. Friendly but unobtrusive welcome and service, good advice on dishes and wonderful food. I chose Dahi Puri to start, fantastic taste explosion. For my main I chose Murgh Chingari. Wasn't sure what to expect, including it being chicken on the bone, but it was delightful. Highly recommended, I'll be back!

So highly rated but such a let down, I've had many an Indian Curry in my time but I must say this is the worst Curry I've ever had. The chicken was so rubbery like it had been boiled the day before, service was shocking, asking for our food order before we'd been asked if we wanted drinks, mains were being put on the table while we were still eating our starters, just pile it on. Nothing to wipe our hands either so I'm sorry I wiped my hands on the chair. Spent most of the next morning trapped on the toilet with excruciating stomach cramps. Food poisoning 😫

Honestly, I'm not sure how this place has got such a high rating. 🤔 Maybe people still haven't gotten their sense of taste back from covid. Food was average. Every dish basically tasted the same, it's was a roulette whether you got real or rubber chicken. Service was non-existent. the waiter didn't even clear the table of starters before bringing out the mains. Thought it was a kids menu as only had about 8 dishes on there Went over the shell garage opposite and pretty sure the same curry was in the frozen section. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else. Way better Indians elsewhere.

We had the most delicious meal at Indian Junction tonight on New Years Day, the staff are always so friendly and welcoming and the restaurant is so warm and cosy. The chicken chettinad which was recommended was delicious, as was garlic naan and sag paneer. By far the best Indian on Gloucester Road!

Got takeaway from Deliveroo. Came quickly, was hot, and really, really delicious. Authentic food and massive portions. Will definitely order again.

Great food. All of our dishes were very flavoursome. For me there was a good level of spice, although I'd advise checking with the waiter if you aren't good with a little heat. The waiter was really nice and friendly. Great service. Recommended.

Lovely place with very attentive, kind staff but found to my horror that they don´t fry paneer before puting it in the dish so it is like soft mushy tofu! Some people will like it like that but it´s not for me. Going next week but won´t be ordering anything with paneer!

The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. The paneer maharaja was a spicy delight! The menu has lots of classics but also some delightful chef’s specials which most of us enjoyed! The lamb shank with naan was incredible. All round fabulous experience - top recommend!

I tried Murgh Chingari and Daal makhani. I can say after a long time I had a real Indian cuisine. The flavour, taste and spices are really great. I would recommend every one who wants to have a real Indian cuisine must try this place.

We've had takeaway from here a couple of times and dined in tonight, the food is absolutely delicious, highly recommend the spinach paneer kofta! Service was great too and the restaurant itself was lovely with a good atmosphere on a Saturday night

Pequeño pero agradable restaurante en el muy buen competitivo Gloucester Rd. El personal fue atento y feliz de explicar ciertos platos en el menú. Nuestras comidas incluían el curry Gohan y pescado shashlik. Ambos deliciosos. Uno de nuestros amigos menos aventureros tenía pollo tikka masala, pero lo encontró inusualmente picante y picante. Ella no lo terminó y le dijo al camarero por qué. Dijo que la próxima vez pidiera que fuera suave, o cualquier otro plato, y se cocinarían a la orden. El vino también era bueno y a un precio razonable. Definitivamente volveré.

I booked online and the email back said the booking would be confirmed once opened. I never received a confirmation so called the number on the website. After no one answering over two evenings, I emailed them and still no response. Then found a mobile number on Google so rang and they answered. They didn't have my booking so booked over the phone but the following day I had an email confirming my booking made online!! On the night the atmosphere and service was very good but at times they were too quick to clear the plates away. We still had nann left and would have eaten it with some of the leftover sauce. My friends enjoyed what they had and said it was very tasty especially the lamb shank curry. I had the Goan Fish curry which was very tasty but I only had about 4 small pieces of fish which was very diappointing. I would go again but would not book online and choose a different dish to have. Overall a lovely place to go and would recommend.

We regularly go, the staff are so nice and always give us great recommendations. We like to get the street food starters and chef specials but the goan fish curry or biryani are our go-to's

Perfect and authentic Indian cuisine. I loved the starters. Chicken was moist and cooked to perfection. Fish was flaky and moist. All the dishes ( mixed platter, fish starter, aloo tikki, samosa chat, chicken chettinad, Dal makhani, chicken chingari, veg kofta , kulcha, nan and rotis) we ordered were up to the mark. Will highly recommend going to this restaurant anytime if you are in Bristol.

A great little restaurant that we discovered near to where we were staying. It was Saturday night so not surprising that it was busy. The guy behind the desk checked the bookings going out of his way to try and squeeze us in. He said we could have a table but he would need it vacated by 2100 which gave us plenty of time. The service was really good, and the food was excellent, from the poppadoms to the main meal, would definitely recommend.

Monkey Boy recommends this place, ate here on a Wednesday night. I eat out a lot in Bristol and this place stands out as a great example of good service and food. My starter was clearly hand made from fresh herbs and mince, the main was full of curry leaf, spices, smoked chillies and a fresh tomato sauce. Not expensive and I would recommend this place to friends. Thank you proprietors you are getting it right 👍

Having read the reviews of this establishment I thought I'd give the place a try however the curry I ordered tasted from a jar or an iffy BBC recipe rather than authentic and also not what I ordered, the meat was tender and pleasant but the sauce was terrible. The onion bhagis tasted ok by supermarket standards but fall short of the crisp street food I have sampled from other curry houses on the same street. I tried this place a number of years ago and I remember why I didn't return. 10/10 for prompt service, very fast even though it was a Friday night.

As an Indian, I thought the quality of food was sublime. Had the Samosa and Murgh Chingari, which they made Desi style with a bit more kick.. Have ordered a take away since, but I feel dining in is probably a better experience. It's reasonably priced as well and generous portions.

Lovely and very tasty food presented well, the chicken dum biryani was particularly good and very fragrant but not too much. My only complaint is that there was no time gap between courses, however, it was a busy Friday evening.

We had a fantastic dinner at indian junction this evening. After many recommendations from friends we finally made it and lived up to the expectations. The staff were fantastic, attentive and gave lots of recommendations. The dishes had a slight twist to the norm and were all 10/10 for flavour and presentation. Absolutely worth a try. Very well priced too.

Delicious food. Sometimes you go to an Indian restaurant and the dishes are disappointingly similar or all look the same. The dishes here were all refreshingly different...and different to other restaurant's dishes too. We ordered too much good but have taken it away so look forward to another tasty meal. We will definitely be back.

I had a takeaway, a lamb karahi. It was ok, the lamb was tender but the sauce had no real flavour or heat. I have cooked better at home. The keema naan contained very little lamb. Plenty of other places to try on the Gloucester Road in the future before I rush back.

We popped in for a midweek dinner, and what a treat! The food was really tasty (we were recommended the pakora chaat, and it was amazing!), and the staff were all really friendly and helpful. Look forward to going back soon!

Pros: Excellent food, friendly staff overall. Cons: Our server only ever addressed my husband (I was completely ignored - it happened so many times throughout the meal that it was comical) and even only brought one after-dinner chocolate out with the bill. My husband and I laughed about it privately, but even so. There was also a VERY rowdy large party in, who shouted every word, but that's not the fault of the restaurant.

Came to celebrate my brother’s birthday ordered chicken vindaloo was disappointed that I asked for it to be hot but it wasn’t and they forgot to bring my mushroom rice which ended up being plain white rice with a few mushrooms at the bottom. They did however agree to bring out a new meal out but had waited so long and the rest had finished eating so took mine home as a takeaway.
