We both had the Sunday roast which was a nice twist. Food was beautifully cooked and presented and very friendly and attentive staff. Thoroughly recommended.

Whilst it was a quiet night, the food, service and atmosphere were superb. It is refreshing to find a restaurant servicing quality Indian dishes which are different to the norm. Very authentic. If you are able to get to Potyo do so - it’ll be one of the best decisions you’ll ever make.

One of the best in the area. Beautiful food, great service. Really unique Indian food and a lot of dishes you wouldn’t find elsewhere. The owner is clearly passionate about his hometown coastal Indian dishes and there’s a lot of love that goes into each dish. Will be back plenty of times.

We dined here this evening for the first time and absolutely loved the food, which is full of flavour. There are plenty of vegetarian options and everything we ordered was delicious. We will be back! Would definitely recommend.

Amazing Summer Potyo BBQ at Home! We ordered Potyo's BBQ at home Chicken, Beef & Prawns kebabs for a family party. They were absolutely delicious and will definitely be ordering them again!

Delicious food with great use of flavours…

Came in for a late dinner with a friend who lives locally and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, the lovely beach vibes of the interior and not least the warm and attentive service. You will not find your chicken jalfrezi or tikka masala here - but instead subtle and lovingly prepared Goan dishes. If you don’t know this cuisine you are in for a treat, and no better place to do it than at Potyo’s. Oh and the birthday girl got a little Goan dessert with a candle on as a treat. The gesture says everything about how you will be met at Potyo.

We came here after a Padel match, hungry and ready. We enjoyed every part of our meal, and we were well looked after by Jason. He gave us dish recommendations, made a swap from rice to string hoppers because we all wanted to try them, and threw in an extra masala chai because we were so interested in their proprietary blend (delicious btw, sweet and spicy and very much Indian masala!). Give this place a go, you won't be disappointed!

This Resturant is a must for those looking for a high quality indian food. Great tastes and excellent service. Don't miss the eggless desert!

Incredible food at a beautiful restaurant - very welcoming, calm and relaxing environment with some of the best food we have had in the area, 5* would recommend!

We went tonight for a special goan gourmet meal that was being hosted. All courses were fantastic, and we’re hoping that some will be added to the permanent menu in the future! Service and atmosphere were excellent as always.

This is a great new addition to Wilmslow. Our second visit was as enjoyable as our first, and we'll definitely be back (in fact we've already booked). The food is Indian with a difference, based in coastal Goa, so there is a lot of fish and seafood, but also excellent lamb curries! It's all totally delicious. The owners and staff are lovely, too. Update April 2025 - another great meal at Potyo! Check out their regular gourmet dinners, they are amazing!

Enjoyed a lovely Mothering Sunday meal at Potyo. Eight of us were fit in, with plenty of room on our table. Food was so tasty, fresh and you can tell it’s made with care. Staff were so welcoming, friendly & helpful. They’re also great with recommendations for food and drink. Great variety of dishes and a bit different to other Indian restaurants you’d go to.

Great food and outstanding service in a beautifully decorated and designed restaurant. Has very clear guidance on allergies and lots of gluten free options. You wouldn't know from the relatively plain frontage that such a great restaurant lies behind it.

Been here a few times, one of our favourite local Indian places. We came to try the Sunday thali, very generous portion and as always good flavours.

Phenomenal meal once again at Potyo. Today we tried the mother's day menu. The specials were incredible! My 11 year old and 8 year old loved the whole experience!

Nice food. Starters were great! We arrived early in the evening so it would be unfair to date the atmosphere. Service was slow to begin with but attentive afterwards.

I was so excited to try the pork vindaloo and I was not disappointed! The four of us shared 4 starters and 4 mains with recommended sides and it was delicious. Service was amazing, food was fabulous, can’t wait to return!!

I went to Potyo for dinner with my family. It is a great place to be if you are interested in authentic Goan food. Indian cuisine has a rich variety of coastal food to offer which is very well exemplified by this place. Although the menu looks limited, the food which they offer is as good as you find in India. I must say that it's one of the few restaurants which has not westernised the cuisine and prepared it as close to home as possible. Chefs have been trained in Goa and Mumbai and the manager has a vast experience of the coastal cities as well. The food which we had a tasted exactly the same as konkani cuisine, the aroma was of authentic Indian spices. Also, if you are looking for another cuisine than konkani then might not be the place for you.

Jason and Melania have reated a magical oasis of authentic goan cuisine, in the most wonderful atmosphere. One of my favourite places to eat out.

This cosy restaurant is an absolute gem!. My wife, daughter and I were looking something different from the usual Indian (Bangladeshi) restaurants in the aree and boy did we find it! The range of delicious dishes from coastal south India were wonderful. The best of the best though was the Boatman Fish curry...i totally recommend it with coconut rice and a side of parathas....writing this has got me salivating again. I will be back soon!

Food was delicious, we had the lunch menu and tried the chaat, samosas, fish, veggie and chicken curry bowls and all were beautifully flavoured. Atmosphere and staff are also lovely, highly recommend.

What a fantastic meal! The menu was interesting and varied. We ended up having starters mains and desserts and don't regret it! Everything was bursting with flavour! So tasty!! We cleaned our plates. Portion size was about right. Prices were good. The service was top notch! We felt really looked after. The decor of the place is pleasant and quirky. We absolutely loved it. Fantastic food and was right on time with collection

A fantastic Indian restaurant, but different food as the owners from Goa. The quality and taste is excellent. You won't get a Madras or Vindalo from here it's authentic home cooked recipes, like mother made. We'll be back, so many items to try still.
