The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

The chicken was so dry I didn’t know if I was eating chicken or an extra from the Minecraft movie, the Bombay potatoes had a kind of brown slime on them, the naan bread was rock hard with a block of cheese melted on it, the mushroom bhaji was more or less chopped mushrooms in a very runny liquid, but having said that the samosas were nice hence the two stars. In summary ordered, delivered, disappointed and thrown in the bin.

Amazing service from start to finish. All the staff were extremely polite and efficient. Food was amazing and the manager was flawless... thoroughly enjoyed it. Will definitely be coming again soon

Tasty dishes enjoyed in our order this evening. We really enjoyed the honey spiced chicken and the vegetable vindaloo. My husband commented it was good to have a large sized naan!

My partner and I watched to try this place because we have heard good this about it and it did not disappoint the food and service was amazing definitely will be back

Delicious, very hot food delivered earlier than the app stated. Thoroughly enjoyed. Only comment which is very minor was the sag aloo tasted a little watery this time but didnt stop it from being eaten up!

The king prawn biryani - is literally rice with vegetables…it even had cucumber. I was so shocked and it taste fishy…prawns shouldn’t make a dish taste fishy….the rice didn’t taste like pilau rice. It had no fragrance to it

Popped in for a cheeky takeaway after a couple of hours on the driving range... Order was taken promptly and whilst waiting enjoyed a Cobra, which was offered... Restaurant has been tastefully redecorated since I was last here... Didn't have to wait long for my order... Was given a free bottle of Cobra...and when I got home also found a few poppadoms had also been put in too... As always food was full of flavour, good quality and hot enough, after a 10min drive, to not need warming... This is why I keep using Jaan's...and still will even though it is under new Management...as they are continuing the high standards previously set...👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Coming from banglore to Hatfield i didn’t think I find such authentic Indian cuisine and service from Madhu very helpful and polite 10/10. Great restaurant to visit in Hatfield.

Delicious food especially the biryanis. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting spicy food in Telford.
