The food & ambience was amazing!!

Loved this restaurant. The waiter, Ahmed, was great, so helpful and checked everything for my dietary requirements. The music was background, as it should be, so meant we could have a discussion without shouting over the music. Myself and my friend thought the food was superb, lovely to try different dishes and each one was lovely, spicy, tasty, and well presented. When we said it was my birthday meal Ahmed brought out an ice cream with a candle & they sung happy birthday! We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

My colleague and I went there for lunch - the food was absolutely delicious. I had Goan Prawn Curry which had enormous king prawns in and was so delicious. My colleague had the the North Indian Fish Curry (Sea Bass) which was also great. We also had my favourite, Taka Dall, Saag Aloo, pilau rice and samosa chatt. All in all brilliant and highly recommend it. Ahmed served us and was friendly, polite and knowledgeable. The menu is well marked up for GF, vegan etc. and he answered all questions we had. On knowing my friend had just had a birthday he then served us a delicious toffee icecream with a candle in it. Thanks to the restaurant and staff for a lovely lunchtime meal.

Well, they couldn’t wait to get me paid and out the door!! And it’s 21:10, so not exactly late! Not quite sure what all the rush is about - give your customers time and space please to actually enjoy the experience, and not feel like we’re keeping you from going home.

Tasty food was provided speedily by polite and very attentive staff. Very relaxed atmosphere.

I wish I could give minus star to this restaurant. I Travelled london with my two kids and I was near southwark and checked this restaurant was nearby when I called them they Said no reservation needed .when we went there the staff said the table is booked and gave us another table.we sat for 40 mins no one came for the tables which they mentioned already booked .and later I ordered masala wedges but I mentioned I need plain instead of masala the staff said no problem we can serve it plain .later they gave us full masala ones and staff grab the plate without telling us while serving and said we need to wait for wedges my kids waited for long time for their wedges and they serve us wedges after long time n I saw it was full of masala I asked the person to whom I ordered he said we only do masala.my god how stupid we sat there coz my kids were hungry after long walk to bridge and they just took order by lying that they will.make it plain and it was not big issue they can just skip sprinkle of masala .the problem was the staff who take order and didn't deliver our proper information. My son has allergy from spices what if be took one ..disgusting staff don't go there if you have kids ..

Absolutamente deliciosa comida india! Acabamos de llegar a Londres desde los Estados Unidos, estábamos cansados y hambrientos y necesitábamos sentarnos. Encontramos exactamente lo que necesitábamos aquí! La gente era amable y eficiente y nos pareció una excelente mesa (menos mal que llegamos temprano, ya que este lugar se llena mucho! ) Y la comida era maravillosa! Todo lo que pedimos - - desde el pappadum a través del naan estaba recién preparado y delicioso! Nos gustó especialmente el pollo tikka! Como estamos en un AirBnb muy cerca, sin duda volveremos para disfrutar de otra comida estelar! Excelente carta de vinos, así, y muy razonable precio para una comida tan grande!

Without doubt the best Indian restaurant for miles around and fantastic value. So many excellent dishes, but the lamb shank and the tikka salmon are both exceptional. Street food starters are great too

Last week we went to dis hotel.....food taste is Awesome....I can say must visit place in London for Indian people for havg food....great taste we enjoyed a lot....not only food ....d way dey treated us is good ....all food we ordered was hot...expected spicyness ....and rate of dis food is really surprised it was reasonable and affordable even though ordering lot of dishes

After visiting Tate Modern, I went to this Indian restaurant near the museum and ordered Railway Lamb Curry. The dinner was super delicious and the staff was very polite. Thank you!

Popped in whilst staying in the area. As a solo diner, I was made to feel welcome - this is not always the case when asking for a table for 1. The staff were happy to accommodate my request for a vindaloo, which was very tasty, especially with the lemon rice. The atmosphere was so nice I actually stuck around for an additional drink after finishing my meal. The staff were friendly and very attentive throughout my visit. I definitely recommend.

We visited Est. India at Flat Iron Square and found the experience disappointing. The atmosphere was unwelcoming, and the staff seemed indifferent, claiming they were fully booked when the website said nothing about reservations. We ordered Biryani and Paratha, only to discover a 12.55% service charge automatically added for two people, with staff still expecting tips. The vibe felt tacky and cheap, lacking genuine hospitality. I recommend seeking other options for better service in London. Response to the owner: My feedback is 100% genuine. Your passive-aggressive tone only reinforces the concerns I raised in my original review. I have a receipt for the meal we had I welcome the opportunity to see you in court.

It's a good restaurant in Central London. It's a vegetarian and non-veg restaurant. We enjoyed our dinner and the taste was good. I would recommend visiting this restaurant.

The only thing good was the buns for pav bhaji! Chilly paneer wasn’t chilly but was more like a manchurian. It was super sweet The pav bhaji’s bhaji was a total flop And their shahi paneer gravy was super watery, the paneer wasn’t cooked well. Felt like the paneer was just tossed into the gravy as we ordered

I’ve heard great things about Indian food in London and an Uber driver recommended this place. It was in walking distance from my hotel and I’m so glad I came. The food was fresh and delicious! The service was great as well, thank you Ahmed! You must try!!

This is my favourite Indian restaurant out of London and have probably been here at least about 7 times. Extremely friendly staff and it's in a brilliant location, right between London Bridge and Waterloo, with a pub almost next door! You couldn't ask for more. Give it a go when you're next in the area.

Lovely food. If you are eating as a business, please be warned that the restaurant is unable to produce a valid VAT receipt. Highly disappointing. PS. Adding the restaurant's VAT number on the receipt is NOT enough to make it a valid VAT receipt. A valid receipt must also contain the amount of VAT that has been charged and at what rate (eg. 20%). So, despite their claim in their response, the restaurant is NOT producing valid VAT receipts.

Avoid! What a mistake it was walking 10 mins to and fro from my place of interest just to satisfy my palate for indian food Totally shocked that a 4.3 rated restaurant can serve such undercooked/ill prepared food and a substandard service ...

The naan was top tier. My partner and I LOVE the Tikka Masala and the Butter Chicken. The service was prompt and very nice. They also give plenty of chicken with your entree. Will definitely be coming back!

Recently discovered this place and couldn’t be happier. Great food, friendly staff and well situated near London Bridge in an area that’s booming with development with lots of nearby craft beer pubs and restaurants. Food was amazing, as was the service and I can’t wait to go back.

Ahmed and the rest of the staff were so friendly. I love that I’m able to order just half portion of the tandoori since it was 10pm and I just wanted a little something to eat. I ended up enjoying the end of my evening from the friendly staff and good food.

The food was delicious! I tried the Chicken Tika Masala, very tasty and not spicy. I also recommend the Naan with garlic and the meat Samosa. The attendant Ahmed was very helpful and helped us with all the directions! I recommend it in London!

Est India is one of my favourite places for great curry. It is a welcoming place, the staff are really friendly and attentive. I like the layout of the restaurant, it has a fresh vibe. Most importantly, the food is first-class. Fairly typical Anglo-Indian fare but done in an up to date manner. The curries are well balanced on textures and nice to see good quality vegetables used throughout. Spicing is delicate and the flavours stand-out. The house mixed starters and the breads were very tasty. Wine is decent and a few nice bottles on the menu. Best curry in London Bridge area

Absolutely delicious meal in the center of London for a reasonable price. Service was fast and very kind, even charged my phone. Our server’s name was Muhammad so props to him. Only downside was that it was a little too loud inside.

Great family meal here with our two children who are under 6! Staff were lovely with them. Tasty and very reasonably priced food. Delicious Sauvignon Blanc too!

Have had takeaways from Est India before but dining in was next level. We had Onion Bhaji, Keema Pav, Bhutani Curry and it was absolutely delicious. Staff extremely friendly and knew the menu well. We were served by Ahmed, who was very friendly and polite. A credit to this restaurant. A very enjoyable experience with authentic flavours, good sized portions and excellent value for money. Highly, highly recommended. Will return very soon.
