Ordered vegetarian biryani because I don’t eat meat. Was served meat biryani, which I found out the hard way and got sick to my stomach.

Had an excellent 3 course meal with a mate at a quiet lunchtime before valentine's evening service began. I had the kebab selection (image is after I exchanged lamb chop with mates onion bhaji) and then I had the highway chicken murgh, damn that nice sauce. Would come back again

We had a lovely dinner at Mango Indian. The restaurant is lovely and cozy. Our hotel made the reservation and shared this is the best Indian food in the area. While it wasn’t the best Indian food I’ve ever had, everything we ordered was delicious. We started with the Papadums and the Aloo. We had the Korma Chicken and the Shani Paneer as entrees along with rice, naan and the potato/spinach appetizer. The servers were lovely and took great care of us. Worth a try if you are at London Bankside!

I wasn’t aware of this little gem, but now I am I’ll certainly be back. Best curry of the year, and I know it’s January, but I’m sure I’ll be saying this still in December. Definitely worth a visit for a working lunch, or as I overheard you’ll may nee to book in advance for dinner. We all really enjoyed the food, 2 x meat + 2 x Vegan at our table. Rare that we all come out happy. It’s only a 4 star for atmosphere because it was quiet, but that was actually lovely too. A big thank you to the entire Mango Indian team, and we’ll be back soon. 👏🏻👏🏻

The lassi, naan and curry are all so good! But be careful if you cant handle spice well, butter chicken is a safe spot.

Booked a table for 2 30 minutes before we arrived on a Tuesday night, defo recomend booking in advance as to the restaurant fills up quickly.The atmosphere and staff were very pleasant, food was really good, nice spice and delicate flavours.

We ordered two chicken biriyani as the main dish. It doesn’t taste like “delicious “. For me , it was 6.5/10. Apart from the food, the waiter was so unfriendly, he didn’t even greet us with a smile. And this left a really bad impression of the restaurant in our mind. I will NOT recommend this place to anyone. As we were just two , we got a really small space that actually was not enough for us. The seat was near the glass window and it felt so sophisticated and uncomfortable. When we sat there, the thought popped in our mind was just to finish the food quickly, pay and leave the place. The waiters were staring at us frequently and felt strange. And this place is NOT the best to get Indian food in London. We do have lot more other options.

Had a wonderful birthday meal for my brother. The team couldn't do enough to accommodate. We had my 7 year old nephew in tow and the team couldn't have been better with him the whole time. Can't recommend more for the food quality, best Indian me and partner have had in London, an overall wonderful experience every time we go.

Great Indian restaurant in heart of London. It’s hard to find a spot during walk in, better to go by appointment. Food is rich in flavours. Service is quick and good portion size. Not very expensive. Loved the complementary treat they gave to our little one.

This place is absolutely DELICIOUS, there are so many options to choose from, a very big vegetarian selection, I love it so much. Been there many times and the staff is super lovely as well. I highly recommend it!

Achei a comida e o serviço do restaurante medianos. Pedi um prato vegetariano e não vieram os vegetais descritos no menu. O arroz estava muito seco. O garçom disse que cada prato era individual, no entanto vieram pratos bem servidos e sobrou bastante comida. Enfim, percebi má vontade no atendimento.

We had family from India and we took them for dinner I had seen there instagram post about lunch offer and wanted to go there. We ordered chicken tikka, daal makhni, paneer and chicken gravy. The food was mind-blowing. I couldn't differentiate between chicken and Paneer. It was so soft and succulent. Bread basket was also very tasty. Variety of naans. Dessert we ordered kulfi and panacotta..yummy One more point for giving papads and chutney when we seated. It is such a good gesture. Staff was so welcoming and they served with great warmth. I am going to come over again n again . Food was also not that expensive. It was 30 to 40 pounds pp.

The restaurant was recently renovated. Good food, service and ambience. One mistake was they added some other food item which we didn't have, so check you bill carefully before paying!

Bestes indisches Restaurant in der Umgebung. Die Fischplatte war mega lecker, richtig gewürzt und alles schmeckte frisch. Service war auch super freundlich, Preise sind ein wenig höher als bei anderen indischen Lokalen in der Umgebung, aber es lohnt sich.

Got the lunch menu, which was such good value for money- it was only £11.99 and we left leaving stuffed. Service was great and our food came out really quickly.

Food was lovely we booked the table for 9:30 but were running late due to taxis and called the restaurant to advise. When arriving at 9:45 we ordered a bottle of champagne as we were celebrating the graduation of our daughter, the head waiter clearly wanted to get us in, served and out asap and we were rushed through ordering, due to the kitchen closing at 10:30. We appreciated the kitchen shutting at this time and thought that as the order was taken, the waiter would relax and let us enjoy the evening, however, the rush continued ! Plates were taken away while some of us were still eating. Basics such as water for the table needed to be requested. The whole experience was rushed and what we hoped would be a special meal was a disappointment, all due to the service. The food was lovely. I would expect if you go to this restaurant earlier in the evening the service would be better. It was a quiet Monday night in London, they had the opportunity of a high value meal, as we wanted more courses and more wines! But due to their hurry we felt like a total inconvenience and that they just wanted to close up the restaurant as soon as possible ! Good luck if you visit this restaurant, unfortunately I am unable to recommend it and the poor service is the overriding reason for a 2star review.

Had Dinner at this restaurant one time and since then this place is my favorite one. They take care of every order right and don’t let you wait any longer. From the moment I walked in, The waiter was extremely aggressive and when I asked about something he attacked me with the menu telling you have to order this bread basket that I thought was complementary as all Indian restaurants and all around the areas and places I visited before, so he was extremely aggressive and then he told me you think I have offended you, so I think he was intentionally offending me. Never back again

Great Indian cuisine - some of the best I've had in London. Small restaurant but buzzing atmosphere and good service. The Chicken tikka starters and seafood selection were great. As well as the Goan Jinga and Lamb chop mains. We will definitely be back.

Staff need to know how to behave with customers. Staff need to treat every customer same.

Had a lovely lunch served by a friendly waiter Ali right near Borough Market just beyond the reach of the usual crowd. They adjusted spiciness to a mild level for our european pallette which was a nice touch. Although mango lassi could be a bit less sweet :)

Got a Mango takeaway, every dish was delicious, we are super picky and this was by far the best food we have had in a long time! Recommend the prawn curry (mustard seeds were incredible), the Murgh Makhani (tender chicken, right level of spice), bread was so fresh and rice fluffy. We will be coming to the restaurant soon!

The waiters were very friendly and efficient at their jobs. They were also checking if we were happy with our food or not. They even gave us water when one of us didn't order any drinks. The atmosphere there is super nice. The dim lights makes it super relaxing to dine in. The lamb briyani rice was breathtaking. It was super fragrant but not too overpowering. It also had the right amount of spice and wasn't too spicy to handle. The lamb was super tender but a bit gamey. The garlic naan was also good. However, the other items were just normal and didn't taste extraordinary. Overall, this would be a good place to have some authentic Indian food. I would highly recommend everyone to try the briyani.

Get a reservation. They are super busy. We had to get a takeaway, but this is a place for all travelling indians... The chettinad chicken is a treat that you shouldn't miss...

Delicious Indian food wIth fast and friendly service. Server was helpful in guiding me to the right dish for my spice tolerance, and I was able to try something new. I will be definitely be back on my return trips to London for work.

Shady place and unpleasant staff. The restaurant staff needs lessons on basic English and also etiquette on how to treat customers. The place is not wheelchair accessible, but the manager says ‘we don’t allow wheelchairs’. This kind of should not exist and one should refrain from encouraging such places. Visit if you want to get yourself insulted by the staff.

The food was incredible. Service was absolutely perfect. The charming server even brought surprise ice-cream to the children. We left with full, happy stomachs, and light hearts. It was a wonderful lunch. So far the best meal we've had in London.

We had a delicious meal at Mango tonight, I’m very pleased. It was a last min change of plans and luckily they were able to seat the 6 of us. The service was extremely good, the waiters very patient with all our questions and the food extremely delicious.

This restaurant had phenomenal food. Everything we had was excellent. The service was top notch, and the servers at this restaurant were more attentive than other restaurants we visited in the UK. It is only a 10-minute walk to The Globe and less than a 5-minute walk to Borough Market. There are also a lot of little shops near there. If you like Indian food, you will enjoy Mango Indian. I will definitely go here again if I go back to London. It is some of the best Indian food I have had. Make sure to get a reservation (even if you are calling to make reservations later that evening). It is recommended (and sometimes required) by many restaurants in London.

Delicious food, excellent service and lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended 😊 We ordered Aalu tikki and achari paneer as starters and honestly my family was so happy with it. Tarka daal was just like home. All the food had proper Indian taste and was perfect for Indian cuisine.

Sehr leckeres indisches Essen von Huhn über Lamm bis Vegetarisch. Ali und sein Team sind sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das gesamte Restaurant ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Ganz in der Nähe Borough-Market oder Tate-Museum. Wir waren während unseres London-Aufenthalts zufällig hier und wurden zum „Wiederholungs-Täter“. Preislich für Londoner Verhältnisse sehr angenehm. Wir werden wiederkommen.

Absolutely lovely food! The salmon tikka was tasty along with the sag paneer. I would recommend to anyone looking for high quality and delicious Indian food. Our sever Ali was very polite and helpful! Will be returning when we’re back in London

The food is excellent and slightly different offer to the standard Indian food. It's small so book ahead. It isn't cheap though. £22 for a main is pricey.
