I called the store at 8.20pm to be told my order was still in the kitchen, even though I had a delivery time of 8.10pm at the latest.Our food turned up at 8.40pm.

Our order was so late that I had to go to the restaurant to collect it despite the fact we paid for delivery. I called the restaurant and was told that our food was out for delivery, 20 minutes later I called again as our food hadn’t arrived to be told that our food was being cooked! We called serval times to no answer. I ended up driving down to collect my food 2 hours after ordering. We won’t be ordering again from this one restaurant on the basis that they lied to us regarding our food order.

Main meals were great, prawn starter was a joke, 2 prawns for £7.20!!!

Always good quality food delivered on time or early. Never go anywhere else for an Indian

Ordered chicken Kurma and buttered chicken for delivery and both tasted disgusting. Tastes like they have added lots of butter instead of coconut milk. All I could taste was butter. Now me and my friend feel sick. Avoid their food.

Came out with my cousins for a nice afternoon dinner. I was amazed by the customer service here, it was ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT. The food I had was delicious had to stay for seconds. Will definitely be coming back here and 100% recommend to anyone who hasn’t tried this place.

High recommend this restaurant, the food was exceptionally tasteful with lots of flavours to give. Also has lovely waiters that gave good customer.

I went out with a couple of friends for a night out to Jalfrezy, it was genuinely one of the greatest nights of my life. The food was delicious and the staff were absolutely wonderful. Would highly recommend the biryani and Jalfrezy dish. Will definitely be coming here again.

I did not get what I ordered, i ordered a korma with vegetables they sent chicken korma they also sent box of salad and a lime n, cucumber sauce that I didn't order and the nan bread was very burnt.im sorry but the food was awful I couldn't eat it.

Had an amazing meal with friends all who had enjoyed our time being there, food was on time, staff were very welcoming. Highly recommend coming down to eat in, going to have to revisit. See you guys soon!

Ordered a takeaway & it was quite possibly the best Indian food we've had. It was tasty & not at all greasy with too much ghee. Absolutely delicious. Delivery time was a bit long & quite expensive.

It's okay if you really want a curry, but service is usually slow and the premises feel a bit dated and shabby

Late delivery and missing curry. When we phoned to ask where the missing dish was they argued the fact they had put it in the bag, which was not the case. They advised they would send out a replacement in 15 minutes however over 40 minutes later the missing curry arrived to go with the now cold rice. Curry was very bland would definitely not recommend to others or use this takeaway again.

Orderd from here twice food was bland,my partner ordered a curry it was bland not spicy,I thought we give it ago we ordered same thing but with special narn bread was nothing special about. They basically slapped cheese on top and folded lol! It was very soggy and greasy we asked for spice in the curry yet it was bland again. Deffo won't order again if I come Southampton.

They didn’t have aubergines so they got some from the supermarket to make the dish I wanted. It was a really delicious meal. The best Indian in the area in my opinion

No keema in the naan just sauce chicken corma sauce nice but chicken pre cooked tough shame will have to fine new Indian takeaway now

Left pilau rice off order so we only had half a meal. Called the restaurant and apparently the driver refused to come back and deliver us another so now we have to go through Just Eat for a refund. Seen other reviews from here with similar problem so seems a bit scammy. I’d probs try another restaurant tbh! We won’t be ordering from here again.

Great Freshly cooked food with quality produce well done to all at Jalfrezy never had a bad experience from Gandhi’s in Totton, Gandhi’s in Portswood to Jalfrezy in Totton 35+years simply the best.

Don’t order late. Revolting had to throw it out.

HI .. DINE IN AND TAKEOUT .. we’ve eaten in 12 + family members a year ago all will moan given a chance .. .. service friendly and laid back which I loved because hate being in a rush . EVERYONE loved it . FOOD EXCELLENT .. HAD. X2 takeaways a year later . FOOD EXCELLENT . FRESH. Lively zingy for the spicy dish I had jelfrezi , my PARTNER LIKED the korma . She doesn’t like spice or anything to be honest only a piece a toast 😄 .. the food is NOT salty or sickly afterwards ..OR heavy ., ITS FRESH NICE LIGHT AND TASTY right down to the popadoms Hardy any oil on the popadom bag and NO NO Added salt to make you want more , drink more etc .NO waking in the night to drink a load a water .no sales or up selling not commercialised a family indian GOOD PLACE. Serving GOOD FOOD. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Rubbish , 2 hrs wait to be delivered , 45 quid of food , 3 different curries ordered , all tasted the same , so sweet they all tasted like a desert , nothing like they should do , will never order from them again , only saver was the cheese nann bread , that was actually really good , but still won't save ya

Food arrived but didn't look or taste like duck, sauce was minimal and never tasted like a masala sauce. Phoned restaurant and they wanted me to return it instead of them collecting saying the driver stopped delivering at 8:30? I wanted refund but meant taking back next day when they opened but work commitments meanted wasn't possible. Never again! Poor!

The delivery time was bad! It was 30 mins late but the food was good.

Awful. No excuses for bad customer service and poor quality of food. 40 minutes late and when called to chase up the order was quickly hung up on. Shocking. NEVER AGAIN. HIGHLY recommend no one to use. However delivery driver was pleasant. £2.50 delivery and 0.50p service charge on top of our total order price, for such an overall poor service is simply a joke.

...well....meal was 35 minutes late with no update.....and when it arrived not got all our order.....considering you do this every day.....really not good.....said about stuff missing ....and still waiting for missing items.......we have already washed and cleared away”.....useless.......paid for delivery and paid a service charge......really not good......extra items now 1 hour late.....”really”.....you are quite happy taking the money though.......marks out of 10......ZERO......because they actually don’t care....go somewhere else......customer service is awful....and yes....still waiting.....

Delivery - told would be 45 minutes. 90 minutes and a phone call to the restaurant later it shows up. When we called the response was ‘I think it’s out for delivery’. Well I don’t think I won’t be using you again. I know. And not just poor service: Coconut rice so dry and over powdered it needed drowning in sauce to be edible. But even then half of it was abandoned. A keema naan. 5/6ths plain, tiny offering at one end of filling. Other than these points, expensive compared to others in the area. Plus just noticed got a 50p service charge on top of the £2.50 delivery charge. Plus points: all food was hot and the other dishes ok other than points above. Which more than justify the rating given.

Awful service!!! Had a table booked 20.00 and ended up leaving around 22.30, this is due to the food taking nearly 90mins from order to being served. Food arrived which was lukewarm and visually looked like it had sat under a heat lamp for a long period of time. Do not eat here, spend your money elsewhere You have been warned.

Once again, a disappointing take away from Jalfrezy. Unfortunately you never know whether you are going to get a good one or poor one; tonight's was the worse yet! After waiting an additional 30mins for our order, we get back home to find an additional rice we hadn't ordered, a sloppy mushroom dish instead of a bhaji and a tikka masala that was dreadfully runny. Calling it quits tonight. We won't be going back.

I ordered chicken and lamb biriyani. Lamb was very tasty but chicken biriyani is not good because rice is too much dry. Overall it’s fine.

Sent the wrong beers out for the second week running. I spend £75 every weekend and they can't be bothered to ring me to sort out an alternative. There is no customer service any more in this industry. They won't be getting any more custom from me.

I can’t rate the food right now because our delivery is over half an hour late now and the restaurant just said it’s on its way. I’ve rated the food based on previous food from there to be fair, but today has been terrible delivery service.

Food left on the doorstep! No phone calls made or received, phoned the restaurant when the delivery was over half an hour late in which they said they would get hold of the driver and after another hour still no food but yet was told it had been delivered and check my door step which is where I found it. Restaurant refused the refund and couldn't take any responsibility and had the driver phone me to tell me he put it on the doorstep! Ordered food at 1745 and didn't get my dinner until 2030!

I went there recently as I went for a visit down Northampton I came across this restaurant whilst looking at reviews and when I had come down it wasn’t what I expected as the service was really bad I got my food half and hour late and it was cold. When I asked someone if I could reheat my food they said no as they don’t have enough staff to do that. And they did not follow any of of my dietary requirements

Delivered over 2 hrs after ordering, 70minutes past when it was due, called twice no help at all, just that they were busy and they would leave soon.

Estimated 45-65mins for delivery and nearly 2 hours after the order made and still not here, just eats suggestion is to call the restaurant... so i do that and they don't answer, multiple times I have tried to contact them to see where my food is but they don't answer, disgraceful service.
