Just want to say thank you. We found Royal Spice a few months back and we only order from them now. We live in Lymington and have curry houses here. But Royal Spice is much better. Thank you from Queen Katherine road ❤️

Never had a bad meal here. Always scrumptious.

Take out only. Very good food. I did have a small problem. But it was sorted out ! Been using the Royal spice for about 5 years now.

Pretty good food tonight. Was our first order tonight to Lymington. We chose you guys because we had problems with our local takeaway. Your food was good and spicy and had a good amount of fillings. We order a lot and will order again.

We had a delivery from Royal Spice that came bang on time was hot and tasted good seen some negative feed back but ours was great.

By far my fav takeaway of all time, Ive never gotten over how amazing it tastes it's addicting, writing this review right now because they are so nice inside aswell, today I messed up my order completely and they were so understanding, let me try out the food I accidently ordered and then made me another meal including the order I actually meant to order, amazing place never change

A terrible service that I will not be using again and will pass my experience on to friends. After ordering on Deliveroo, it advertised 30 minute delivery times. 6.55 order time, eventually arrived at 8.23. After chasing the restaurant several times the manager called to say it is my fault as I shouldn't use Deliveroo. I replied saying to come off of it then. He also stated they are not able to control the delivery times stated on Deliveroo, this is total nonsense as other restuarants have longer times. Food was average and I can certainly get a good curry somewhere else. A complete disgrace.

Tandoori chicken was great, as was the madras the chapati could have been better, I bit under cooked

I used their online ordering service. Ordering was straightforward and easy to follow. After completing your order, there is a summary of what you have ordered which includes their phone number should you have any queries. I had no reason to call. Delivery was very quick by a polite driver and the food was superb. Everything was piping hot and full of flavour. Excellent value, highly recommend. I would definitely use Royal Spice again.

Was a good takeaway but now have become highly overpriced. Charging 95p for a single poppadum - they were free with order collection!

I ordered the king prawn vindalo and got a dish of sloppy sauce with very over cooked shrimps that where like rubber bands, for the same price as the king prawns . A great shame as the rest of the food was good.

Poor amount of chicken in korma take away container, mostly sauce.. Mint sauce not minty at all.. Not the best £25 ive ever spent.. Wouldnt go back

We had a delivery. It was timely, piping hot and delicious. Literally the best prawn pathia I've ever had - and I'm super fussy! No grease all over, just the right level of heat, just perfect. We've been looking for a long time to find a good Indian restaurant / takeaway, and after 2 / 3 times of using this one we have found it. Lovely staff too - highly recommended from a fussy wotsit!

Lovely food and fast efficient delivery service

Food is exceptional. Website is easy to use, only thing we had a couple of times now when being delivered is the meals are just warm and nearly cold when finishing.

A Saturday night delivery. Nice chap on phone, bang on time, piping hot and absolutely delicious. We can't really say so much for the butter chicken, it didn't have a lot of flavour apart from the coconut, and not much chicken in there. But my prawn pathia was stuffed full of prawns, and so flavoursome with just the right amount of heat. Delicious. Also the chicken shashlick was very tasty, and lots of chicken. We have now found our go -to Indian.

I am in the food business and love Indian food and this I have to say is the best take-away I have had in years. Full of flavour, not oily or watery, just rich and delicious. Highly recommend

What can I say always had a fantastic take away and then suddenly awful, ordered a prawn dish at nearly £14 and recieved a lot of puree type sauce with 4 prawns, did ring to ask and was told it's the price of prawns!! Was told if it had been chicken I would get plenty of chicken for my money, suggestion, perhaps offset the cost of the loads of chicken against the prawn special at £14. The sag aloo was lots of aloo very little sag, know times are hard and a takeaway is a treat these days, surely that's not another thing we've all got to accept under efficient over priced.

Wow , I've just had the best takeaway Chicken Tikka Madras ever.. Very Very Fresh , Newly made base gravy. Highly recommended

I ordered cheese and onion nan and it was more like cheese on toast and sag pannier was all sloppy curry only had 5 small bits of chicken not bad flavor just disappointed

Best indian takeaway in Hampshire. The food is at high standards and fresh. Royal Spice has 5 star hygiene rating the place is spotless sparkling.

Avoid poor customer service, was late by 45 minutes, phoned to say it would be leaving shortly asked for a refund they then said it was out for delivery and refused to give me a refund. Awful service 1 hour 30mins for a average meal!

Ordered takeaway yesterday, the last time I got a takeaway from there the nann was like one you get from supermarket (cheap ones)the rest of the food was OK, so this time I ordered a chapati that was worse than the nann, it was all damp like it had been mirco waved, that's my last visit there,

Excellent vegetarian selection including plenty of tasty paneer dishes. generous portions. Garlic Naan always a favourite. Staff are always helpful & friendly. Had a nice chat with khan this evening. Very clean, open kitchen, menu well set out. We order once or twice a month, they’re always busy! Excellent all round, highly recommended

The best part of our meal was the fact that it was delivered promptly, after that things went downhill. Each container consisted of the same brown sludge. There was no variety of flavour between the dishes. The veg curry was potato and cabbage. The lamb Korahi was what might have been lamb, but we’re not sure and raw onion. Same consistency and colour. No idea what the cold, dry, flat naan consisted of!

We were staying near New Milton and thought to try an Indian takeaway. We cam3 across The Royal Spice almost by accident. What an absolute treat. We entered the takeaway and ordered our meal. All was very clean and very customer focussed. Within 10/15 minutes our meal was ready. What can I say.... It was absolutely gorgeous. Lovely poppadoms, very tender spicy chicken dishes, and side dishes. Probably the best Indian takeaway we have eaten for a couple of years. Very highly recommended, do try it, you wont be disappointed. Thank You Royal Spice

We were down here for a few days from Slough, which has very good curry places. Well you are very lucky to have the Royal Spice. This has beaten all of our ones! Incredibly amazing flavours, portions and flavours! One of the dishes was saag and it always comes from tinned spinach. Here they use fresh. Wow!! I have travelled to India and this is on par of course. Highly recommended

Ordered from Royal Spice for the 1st time last night and was really disappointed with my meal. I had the Royal Special and the sauce was so sweet that I found it inedible. I had to scrape all the sauce off and just eat the chicken and rice. My son’s chicken tikka was fine as were the naans and rices so maybe there was a slip-up with my meal unless it’s supposed to taste really sugary. Delivery was super fast and the driver was very friendly so I’d be prepared to order again from Royal Spice but I wouldn’t order the Royal Special.

Ordered a Paneer Makhani delivery. The cubed paneer was covered in what looked like custard. No texture, incredibly sweet, quite revolting and unappetising. We won’t waste our money again.

Food cold and order not complete never again

Back in the area on holiday, so thought we'd revisit for a takeaway. Food excellent, only downside was delivery only to holiday camp reception, rather than to the door. Still highly recommended though 👍

Just tried for the first time, and I was really impressed by the good quality and tast of food. I really don't understand bed reviews, as is definitely one of the best curries I've had. And really good size of portions. Extremely efficient delivery service as well.

Really good, I can't fault it, maybe a little pricy, but the overall quality was excellent. We just came down for the holiday and took a friend's recommendation and it was spot on. Lamb rogan josh, chicken makhani and loads of veg brilliant. If you are down here on holiday and fancy a take away, dive in.

We usually have a curry from here on a friday night, last night was the worst ever. The chicken tikka masala was just tomato puree sauce, no spice, no texture no flavour, dreadful. The mushroom bhaji swan in what looked like dish washing water and the rice was hard and flavourless. Safe to say I wont be ordering from here again .

Had a Lamb curry, they clearly use cheaper meat was tough and grisly and overcooked tasted like they cooked from frozen or don't defrost properly before cooking, could not finish meal as it made me wretch. Can't understand the 5 star reviews, I'm a qualified chef and know this is not good food, I would avoid this place.

Bhuna had hardly any flavour, poppadums were a bit soggy. Peshwari naan and pilau rice were okay. I would have phoned to complain but last time I called about a mistake with my order they were reluctant to help!

Lamb tikka bhuna was least tender I've had for a long time - had to take three pieces of grizzle out of my mouth and leave to one side. The sauce was very nice.

Lovely meal! We ordered a meal for 4 on a Saturday night, and it was clearly a very busy night for the restaurant. We all enjoyed the meal very much, and we all commented on how good the food was. The food tasted great, cooked perfectly and not greasy at all. Highly recommend this place!

Don't normally have a negative, but rang at 7:30 for a 8:15 collection, got there at 8:20 to be told 10 minutes! Unfortunately the food was still bloody good.

Nice food but a service charge was taken as was a delivery’s charge for Hordle. Very surprised. This was for a take away.

We always usually use royal spice for takeaway. Today I will never order again, portion sizes were ridiculously small, the chicken was chewy and purple! Couldn’t even eat it was awfully off putting!! Order was also delivered incorrectly !!!

Off the cuff takeaway - the chicken chilli massala was top notch, generous portion. The naan let it down a bit as did the short portion of mint yoghurt. Would have been a 5 out of 5 otherwise. Will go back & look forward to trying something else.

Always get our takeaway from here, been coming for years. Takeaway today was a bit disappointing, lamb ceylon was so spicy it was barely edible (and I love spicy food) and our sag aloo was all potatoes and no sag. Hopefully it was a blip and it will be back to it's normal level soon!

Easy to order, always delivered quickly by polite drivers. The food arrives hot and fresh, spicy and full of flavour. Chicken pieces are juicy and succulent, rice is fluffy. Always very happy!!

Expensive, miserly portions and dry compared to competitors. When asked why so expensive they said it was about quality. Used to be decent, won't be using again!!!

Think I went to a different Royal Spice to all other reviews. Overcooked rice and insipid chicken curry with no flavour or spice at all. So disappointed!!! Was do looking forward to a rare take away treat!!

Lovely curry one of the nicest in a long time

Dhansak very pasty and way too hot. Korma on the other hand was very good, although its very difficult to muck up a Korma.

Always my first choice Indian, their banquet for two is great value!

Rubbish meal, chicken was not cooked all the way through, felt ill the next day and they managed to get the 2 orders wrong and gives us 2 different dishes... Will not be eating here again.

Visited Royal Spice whilst on holiday. Ordered Chicken Tikka Chilli & Garlic Masala, Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Balti. Used the online ordering portal which was very simple to use. Food was ready at the specified time. All of the dishes were really well made, plenty of meat in all of them. Kids declared the CTM the best they’ve ever had, Wife was really happy with the balti (and she’s pretty hard to please) and my Chicken Tikka Chilli & Garlic was really good too. The shop is clean and the fact you can see through to the kitchen is a real unique plus. Would happily return and probably will before the holiday is done.

We ordered a range of standard curries and usual side dishes. The curries were disappointing and the mango chutney watered down. We ordered a delivery and the service was friendly and helpful but we couldn’t recommend the experience.

So this Indian is close to us but we've been before and had a takeaway and we didn't like it then and we didn't like it this time. The onion barjes were all gooey thick with raw pastey onions. The salad that came with the cucumber was solid. My husband had the mixed the lamb was tough as old boots. Such a dissapointment never again.

Ordered “on line” and arrived prompt when I was informed it would be ready. They were busy with my order. Very clean and tidy waiting room, One can see through to the kitchen were the chefs were busy cooking fresh food. Very generous portions with just the right amount of spices in each meal. Very nice starters ( onion bhajee, sheek kebab) with popadoms. Mains ( dupiaza, tikka masala, and a biryani) were generous portions and freshly prepared. There was still plenty of food left after we had taken our fill.
