Outstanding atmosphere! Staff are lovely and attentive, food is easily a 10/10 ❤️. Delicious. Lucky find on a Monday night in rainy Ringwood.

We love this place! Considering the reasonable prices the food is insanely good. Really really tasty, recommend a house special. Naan bread cooked to perfection, friendly welcoming staff. Atmosphere is lovely, as is the decor, we will be back.

NO ALCOHOL Served noone warned us until we sat down and tucked jnto some poppadums. Had i known i would have walked out. Please make it clear on entry. 2 stars. However food was good.

Had takeaway, chicken byriani, sag alone, onion barghee, came with fresh salad plus two sauces and an oinion salad...absolutely superb food. Quality and quantity is far superior than other local Indian restaurant take out, polite friendly when taking order and prompt service. Would recommend.

Another Fabulous Experience at Indian Tree Ringwood! I've been coming here for dinner over the last 12 years and the food still blows me away! So much flavour, Beautiful tender meat and delicious Peshawari Naan. I'd recommend 100% to anyone!!

Great menu choice complemented by decent service and food proves very good. BYOB!! Bring a beer or gin n Tonic and they will help with ice. Great way to keep the price affordable too. Highly recommended

The owner of this restaurant has been found guilty of persistent breaches of employment rules. A Home Office spokesperson said: “The Indian Tree has been fined £175,000 after a range of breaches related to illegal working. Illegal working causes untold harm to our communities, cheating honest workers out of employment, putting vulnerable people at risk, and defrauding the public purse". The fine remains unpaid. Do you really want to support this sort of business with your hard-earned cash?

Delicious takeaway with a good choice. The restaurant looked very plush and inviting and will return to dine in. A bonus that it's byo drinks as they don't have a licence. Shame not more restaurants don't offer this benefit.

Have used indian tree many times but they have now lost four regular customers. Have always been great curries but this one was awful- kochi chicken bhuna was tasteless and no spice as was the lamb tikka morisa, chicken tikka main was tough and chewy. They all tasted like they were made with bisto gravy. My partner and friends wife both had upset stomachs next day. Alot went in the bin, complete waste of money

Had a takeaway from here on Saturday 4th May with another couple and will not be going here in future. We have used Indian tree for a couple of years and apart from the odd dish has always been brilliant but the last one was awful. Kochi chicken bhuna was tasteless & no spice at all, lamb tikka morisa the same, they all just tasted like gravy. My partner and friends partner both had upset stomachs the next day. A complete waste of money as alot just got thrown away.

We had a delivery from Indian tree a week ago now and I woke up the next morning with sickness and upset stomach. The upset stomach still yet to pass even a week later and now I’ve finally got to hospital the doctor suspects food poisoning. I certainly will be avoiding Indian tree in the future as I’ve never been so ill before

Food was good and reasonably priced. No alcohol licence, which is OK as you can bring your own. Service was a bit mixed. Some staff very nice and friendly others not so much

Indian tree restaurant Why is it so hard to getva response from this company. Worst ever take away last night Chicken Vindaloo / no spice Chicken Madras / no spice Chicken was so tough and bouncey it was inedible. So very disappointing. Was meant to be a treat but was the worst meal we had all week. Please respond to your customers , so rude to ignore!

Very average but “pleasant” Indian restaurant. We arrived to a completely empty restaurant and were the only table bar one other couple the whole night. Little concerning when the others locally are generally packed. Waiter was very helpful and service was generally good but the food was all a bit samey. We ordered 6 different curries and the vindaloo came out “medium”, all the rest I doubt you’d have been able to differentiate if blindfolded. Pretty sure the base sauce is singular for all of them and you could tell. Rice was good, sides were “ok” and Naans were a bit strange, not sure they were done in a tandoor as all came out a little anaemic and with no colour. BYOB is a positive as kept the cost down but not sure we’d return.

The food taste was horrible and tasteless. Ordered Garlic Naan and Garlic Chilli Chicken. I don't know how they prepare Naan but it wasn't that great at all. And I'm 100% sure they doesn't know what Garlic Chilli chicken is honestly. The chicken was not cooked properly at all and without any taste. I don't understand what's wrong with Indian restaurants in this area. All the curries and main courses are just plain. Atleast be true to the name. Maybe locals here liked it because of different cuisines to try but I won't recommend this for Indians. Moreover the service was not good at all. Only good things was overall cleanliness and spacious interiors.

Lovely menu and staff, such a shame to see the chicken pieces are not as gorgeous as the curry they're served in. Naga Dewali is a fabulous dish originally from Bangladesh, please upgrade the chicken to proper chicken, not formed caterer chicken.

I've had many takeaways from here, and haven't had a bad experience with hang of them. All the dishes I've tried have been really good. Would definitely recommend.

This was simply the finest Indian cuisine experience I ever had. My wife and I came here right as they opened so we had the place to ourselves basically. I couldn't find Butter Chicken on the menu, so I asked the server if they had it, to which he replied they did indeed, so I was happy about that. Most likely, they had it listed as the actual Indian name on the menu which I would've missed. The food itself was phenomenal. I loved my Butter Chicken! It was creamy, tender, and sweet! I had to dump my rice into the remaining sauce just to enjoy as much as possible. Service was prompt, atmosphere was classy, and of course it was quiet since we were the first customers of the day. I'd love to come back here some day.

The food is very delicious, but a lot of seasoning, if you are going to eat this type of food you have to be prepared. Very delicious food is something that stood out.

Got a delivery to Sandy ball’s holiday park 14 minutes away from the restaurant. Me and my wife are some what of curry critics and eaten in many good Indian restaurants around England definitely makes the top 10, everything was nice but the oinion baijees took the show the best I’ve ever had crisp and flavourful not a soggy one I. Sight nor greedy in the packaging. Take a bow you absolute legends, love from the Abbotts from Kent!

The food was really good. Not just done well with good quality ingrediants, but also had some unique good flavour. it is slightly pricy, but was worth it.

Super Indian restaurant in Ringwood. Friendly staff, great food, and a lovely atmosphere. On Gourmet nights, there is a great deal of any starter, main and tea, coffee, or ice cream for a fixed price.

Have visited Ringwood numerous times, as my nephew lives in nearby St Leonard's and have to say there are numerous Indian restaurants here and I've yet to find a bad one! The ambience and service were excellent and the food ordered: Tandoori King Prawns, King Prawn Dhansak, Pilau Rice and Garlic Naan, were of a very high standard. Had a bottle of the house white which was decent quality and reasonably priced. Would happily return

We are on holiday for our anniversary and my husbands birthday combined and we don’t know the area very well. I called to ask if I needed to book a table and they said I should just come along and they would find us a spot. When we arrived, we were led to a table and I noticed how empty the place seemed to be (which was my only cause for concern). I can only wonder why it’s not heaving every night. Everything was perfect! The waiter was attentive but not overly, the service was timely and unhurried, the food was incredibly tasty and the atmosphere was light. They had created a wonderful ambience! The place did indeed begin to fill up after we were seated. The no alcohol served rule suited us as we don’t really drink anyway but people can bring their own. It was a perfect date night! Thank you so very very much!!!!

Order through Uber eats for delivery there was a delay with order but when the food arrived it was still hot and tasted fantastic it was definitely worth the wait we had the lamb vindaloo, lamb kari , lamb korma , prawn korma onion bhajis naan bread etc Very tasty

Good but not the best in Ringwood

Excellent staff. Flavours that I have never had before and superb lemon rice and nan bread. We will definitely be going back to try some different items from the menu.

Swing Unlimited Big Band had a curry night at the Indian Tree on the 5th September. 16 curry lovers and there wasn’t a single complaint. Efficient service,nice people and best of all, BYO! This will now be our “go-to” eatery.

Licked the setting but the food was not up to scratch as far as taste was concerned. A bit deflated over all.

I've been here twice now and both times have been fab. It's got a nice atmosphere, nice decor and the food is really tasty. The staff are lovely and the service is timely but not rushed. You take your own alcohol and they serve soft drinks. A good night out!!

I have eaten here twice now, 1st time dining in and the 2nd as a takeaway, and both times I found the food lovely. Is definitely my no.1 choice for Indian food now. The service dining in was very friendly, and our delivery driver tonight was also very friendly, and had actually delivered earlier than predicted. I would highly recommend it here, and will definitely be back in the future. X

A lovely find albeit zero alcohol. Food was certainly delish. Service was 5*. When we were leaving we were advised to bring our own bottle next time and they would open and supply glasses at no cost to us. Handy to know and if in this neck of the wods again, we will 😆

This was our second visit this year, as we liked the food the first time. We were very surprised to find out on arrival that they no longer served alcohol, but that we could take our own there. My research shows that the owner has a long record of hiring illegal workers and has had his alcohol licence revoked. That also explains the change in staff. We won't be going there again.

Having eaten here before and given my last review 5 stars, this time the curry was rubbish. The first time in years the curry was inedible. I don't know what's happened to the place. Won't be going again. Failed miserably this time.

Had heard great things and whilst you have to take your own alcohol, that's good as it keeps the price down. Loved the food, and the staff were terrific. Couldn't be more helpful. They asked us each what sort of thing we liked, and made suggestions which were spot on for all of us (6 guests). Beautifully presented food and good value.

Came to Ringwood from Notts for a family matter, ended up at this restaurant for dinner. Really nice food, full of flavour, friendly staff, can't complain. I'm genuinely baffled by some of the negative reviews but then I guess it's tripadvisor and people like to create drama. Will be a return customer next time I'm visiting. Thanks all!

Do not order a takeaway from this company. The 1st takeaway we ordered they forgot my wife’s meal. Whilst the driver did return an hour later it ruined the evening. Tonight I ordered as was out on hold for 8 mins, eventually order placed . I’m now sat 2 hours later awaiting our order. I call and have been put on hold twice and cut off, now I call and no answer. No idea where my food is. Staff don’t care and have zero customer skills. Masala is much better option. Sat here hungry and they not answering the phones. Avoid at all costs

The best curry around a must try

By far some of the best Indian food in the area and choice. Some great fish dishes. Weekends are a great atmosphere, buffet nights a bargain and staff are always very friendly 🤟😎

Indian Tree is our favourite go to for Indian food, always piping hot meals and service is excellent. Your better of booking to guarantee a table.

So disappointed after finally finding somewhere that delivered to my area. We ordered a tikka Marsala and butter lamb - the butter lamb was so incredibly salty that I couldn’t swallow the first mouthful , having put it on rice, popadoms , and naan, it all ended up in the bin - this is coming from someone who loves salt in everything. It was like taking a bite out of block of table salt. The tikka Marsala was ok . However when I went to put the serving spoon in the dishwasher it looked remarkably like there were maggots on it. Not only that , the delivery took 2 hours to arrive.

Excellent food always piping hot with hot plates, plenty to choose from a huge menu. Highly recommended a good place to eat if you fancy an Indian.

Arrived 10 mins early, sat by the bar until are allotted time, no offer of drinks while we waited. Our table was obviously ready as plenty of other empty tables, restaurant didn’t seem busy either. Took ages to order a drink after we caught the attention of a staff member. Starters were nice, although hot two out of four mains were average at best, the other two were nice. Asked for the bill at the table ended up going to the bar on the way out to settle up after waiting 15 mins for it to show up at the table. We felt it was above average price for and Indian, certainly not worth it for that quality of food and dire service.

Went for a meal here as it came highly recommended, the waiters from the beginning seems rude and standoffish. Ordered drinks which we had to ask about twice before turning up. A drink was then spilt on my sister, the table and my dads phone. When it came to the bill, they’d charged us for the drink that had been spilt. I asked the waiter about this, who just said they’d get someone else. When this other waiter came over, they said nothing. Stared at the receipt, so I explained the situation - a drink had been spilt over someone, their food and a phone. I wasn’t happy paying for it - the waiter was rude in response. There was no apology for the situation. I feel money was taken off purely because I’d flagged it but otherwise they were happy for us paying for the drink we hadn’t drunk. And was made to feel extremely uncomfortable. But I don’t feel I was wrong in not wanting to pay for a drink that had been spilt over us. Won’t be returning due to poor, rude service. Extremely disappointed for the money we ended up paying. Would not recommend anyone go.

My Wife & I love this place . Very clean, including washrooms , slowly working our way through the menu ,food is great , very pleasant staff, good service, best Indian Restaurant in Ringwood and surrounding areas

I haven’t been to a curry house this disappointing. Let’s start from the beginning, nine of us arrived at 6:30pm on dark damp dreary evening. Our first impressions were okay… the decor was adequate BUT now it gets juicy (like grease on the nan breads) we enter with grumpy men giving us the cold shoulder, no warm friendly faces, no response. After a unfriendly response to our booked table, We are seated no less then taking 30 minutes for drinks, 40 minutes for popadom, 50 minutes to just order food aswell as the server leaving half way through our order for 5 minutes, and then just over hour and a half to receive our food while missing five or six items. The staff continuing to be rude and unhelpful. We asked for water 3 times for the table and never received until I approached the waiter at the front door and asked for water having to wait for it again and carry it to the table myself to ensure we got it. The food was okay some nice some poor. I don’t advise visiting here as other places in ringwood which are better. I shall not be visiting again.

We were on honeymoon and decided we wanted indian. They had a table ready within 15 mins. The service was great and the food was spectacular in fact its the benchmark we now judge indian resturants by. I would definately recommend you try it

We travelled up from Cornwall today and we are staying in Ringwood for a few days - we booked into the Indian Tree for dinner tonight. Pleasant surroundings, friendly staff and the food was really first class at a good price, the best Indian meal we have had in a very long time.

Nice venue. Very clean. Lovely staff and friendly. Food is ok but thought the mixed kebab starter was a bit pricey for what we got. But overall, it was a pleasant experience and we would return.

Had an absolutely delicious takeaway from here tonight! Staying in an air bnb locally and were recommended by the hosts. Tarka dhal, chana masala, vegetable dhansak and vegetable chilli and garlic, all deliciously flavoured and generous portions! Would definitely recommend!
