had to ring four times, i only live 10 mins away food was absolutely cold i really am disappointed NEVER AGAIN.

I was mentioned that don’t put ginger in noodles but you still added it because I have allergic to ginger

The wings were brilliant, lamb chops were good aswell

The curry, rice, chips all decent but the lollipop chicken was absolutely terrible! They look nothing like the picture displayed, I’ve had lollipop chicken before and they come way different these ones where rock solid also cold!

Used the Red Cow many times. Food quality has always been excellent and of a high quality.

Ordered chicken tikka masala, this is twice I’ve had it now and it tastes nothing like masala. More like tomato soup with chicken in it. The tomato taste is really strong.

Ordered a takeaway from here recently and it was honestly the worst curries I’ve ever eaten! Had a meal delivered from here about 12 months ago and was fantastic. I don’t know what’s gone on since but it was like ordering from a completely different place!! We had chicken balti and a chicken tikka masala. I’m not sure if chef dropped the salt shaker by accident but wow it took about 3l of water after to stop the dry mouth. The chicken was like rubber, at one point my partner was questioning if I’d tried to be a cheapskate and microwaved an Asda curry it was that had. The rice was ok.. heads up though the pilau rice is Matar Pulao (for white people it contains peas). Naan bread was standard, and had better from a 3 for £1 shop up cape. We also had some chips, which I’m not sure if the driver had a munch on in his journey. As you only get half a bag! Definitely wouldn’t recommend going and we won’t be going back ever again! There’s much better places about and think they just survive on a past reputation of doing good grills.

The food was great as usual but it was unusually 30 mins late - probably the traffic and multiple road works!

The mix grill was lovely. The pilau rice is not yellow in colour and actually white rice, jeera and peas which is not what I expected.

I ordered takeway chicken currie on the bone and also lamb currie looked okay at but, when had spoon each from the curries they both too much salt in take that why rating redcow smethick.. Three stars i was sick in hospital that night im saddem, i wasn't expecting that from the cooks cant cook good currie ever again 🤣🤣😒

The food was cold and the delivery didn’t arrive till 8.20 so it was later than expected and I had a hungry little boy at that point

food was food was like 50 mins late, the yogurt was chunky off and watery, the curry was spilt everywhere, horrible all round, was really looking forward to trying it but was let down badly

The lamb kebab was rock solid. The chilli chips came cold with no taste of potato as it was fried to misery, with no sauce on, just a red batter, thats tasted like it was made the day before. I deliberately scheduled it for a time as my husband and son would be home then. It came too early and then went cold by the time they came.

The food was very good as usual but this time it was only Luke warm, never had this prob before and hope to not get it again.

Food was exceptional. The special curry was too mild for my liking but very tasty. All the food was fresh and it's now my go-to takeaway for my cheat meal :) Delivery was also super fast I couldn't believe it actually haha

The older barman is one of the most rude men I have ever encountered. He was condescending and patronising and wouldn’t allow access to the toilets even after purchasing food and started yelling about his pub being private property. A lot of other great pubs in brum, avoid this one at all costs. As far as common decent human curtsey goes this pub has none. Honestly such a shame people like this exist.

Mi amigo y yo solo queríamos un buen curry, pero no vamos a volver ya que no nos sentimos bienvenidos y cuidado. La comida estaba bien, pero no conseguimos exactamente lo que pedimos. Ningún camarero vino a nuestra mesa para preguntar si todo estaba bien y si necesitábamos algo. Ningún pub o restaurante debe tratar a la gente así.

They missed items ordered and it is dissappointing that the order paid for had food items missing. Had bad experience with this place ladt time. Think their days are numbered they cant compete with the contenders in this market.

Prompt delivery, food was delivered hot. Friendly delivery driver. Food portions are large, tasty and well cooked. Great value for money. I would definitely recommend The Red Cow Pub and Grill.

After trying most of the rest I keep coming back to the Red Cow. Consistently the top Indian takeaway for freshness, flavour and customer service, by a country mile.

Ive said ‘this is the best Indian takeaway in Brum’ a few times about one or two other places in here but they’ve been inconsistent. I can confidently say that the Red Cow is THE best Indian takeaway I’ve had in the last year & just as good as the last time I ordered from them. Beautifully spiced and fresh mixed grill with perfect fish pakora, delicious tender seekh kebab, great tandoori chicken wings & tikka. Obviously all cooked fresh to order. No reheated one or two day old meat here. A++

The food was cold.The lamb curry I ordered didn't have much lamb in the container mostly onions and tomatoes. Very disappointed!!!

Rubbish this place dont go never recommend This place is not good for indian food not freshed especially tandoori rotis are not fresh we went there saturday night with my family and we ordered some food but when i see my tandori roti omg that was too hard and cant eat and i knw these rotis are microwavble not fresh i went here many times with my friends and experience was good but this time disgusting i never go this place again i suggest to everyone if u plan to eat something with your family or friends find another place thanx

The butter chicken was hot however the rice and sabji was cold! It was so bad.

Generous portions and very tasty. Only criticism none of the carton’s were marked so we weren’t sure which was which until we tasted them.

Nd u necesita decirnos antes no después de ganar más de £ 70. simplemente comenzamos a comer nuestro entrante. Viene con roti también. Como si fuéramos estúpidos necesitamos terminar todo rápido si necesitamos comer así sin descanso nada que podamos comer fácilmente en casa. Vivimos en Oldbury todo el tiempo preferimos ir en vaca roja pero esta vez peor experiencia. Tienen cero sentido que el tipo nos dio la placa una vez. No tiene sentido que necesitemos nuevas placas después del arranque. Entonces mi hermano va a la cocina y pide platos nuevos. Sin pañuelos ni ensalada fresca. Como hoy fuimos allí no para celebrar. Incluso para insultarse a sí mismos. Decidió nunca ir allí. Fui a la cocina a preguntarle al tipo por qué no nos lo dices antes de que siga riendo, no tiene sentido.

Yes it's a humble looking pub but the atmosphere was friendly and the food was fantastic ! Only marked down because couldn't order tea or coffee. The Jalfrezi was AMAZING .

Was disappointed with balti, was nothing like there usual balti. Tikka was very expensive for amount received. Nan bread was like a roti thin and very poor. Was my favourite take away until now 🙁

Saw my chicken was pink rang for a refund to be greeted by a man that hardly spoke English passed on 3 times to other members if staff that clearly knew English they just knew they was in the wrong and didn’t want to communicate with me completely unacceptable.

Chips & naan were ok, food was delivered early which was good. But the Soy curry was extremely SALTY & INEDIBLE, shahi paneer was beyond SWEET like eating a dessert as a curry, even if I mixed the two curries together it was honestly horrible overly salty and sweet which didn’t even balance a decent flavour for me to continue eating, straight in the bin. Absolutely vile, will not be ordering from there again!

Food was cold, defosted and horrible, there was so much water on my plate that it soaked all of the rice and chips and made the food taste bland, wont be ordering from here again

Ordered 2 chicken korma and 2 garlic naan’s - delivered 2 chicken balti and naan’s - had 2 give away the 2 chicken balti’s as they are too hot for us - not sure how the mix up happened
