Regards Restaurant in Birmingham

Ordered a take away from Regards in Boldmere for 11 people at a cost of £110 , we were given a time for it to be delivered , it turned up half hour later than the latest time they gave us , it was cold , the heema name were terrible some dry and some wet and the worst was we were one curry short , we had the rice for it but no curry . Very disappointing and certainly won't be using this restaurant again

We had booked elsewhere but disappointed on arrival, so we went somewhere we knew would be fabulous and it was. Regards looked after us perfectly. Great food, amazing service, no fuss. Thank you for a special Valentines evening. 💝

the food was cold, had to heat the whole lot up. before eating. the vegetable jalfrazie, is extremely disappointing. a bowl of mush n no spice at all. and its suppose to be hot. no flavour at all. im so disappointed with this!!! what a waste of money!!!!

Delivery was on time, food was very tasty.

Really disappointing experience. Booked online, and told when we arrived that we could only have the table for an hour due to New Years Evening celebrations. They had our number and could have told/contacted us. Anyway, crammed into a corner and ordered expecting the food to arrive quickly before being asked to leave. The mains arrived almost an hour after ordering them ! Food was average at best and the naans were dry. With so much competition in Boldmere, definitely won’t be returning and would not recommend.

Ordered a takeaway from here as recommended from many friends thought I'd give it a go. Pleased to say I was not disappointed. The food was so fresh and flavourful. The chilli paneer was definitely the show stopper. Will definitely order again. Lovely food and so quick too.

FREEZING cold food, onions was hard and the chicken was pink. We will NEVER order from them again, possibly the worst curry we’ve ever ordered

I have been to Regards regularly for many meals and the food and service is excellent. They cater for many dietary requirements (I’m vegan) and they provide a wonderful service. Tonight we attended as a large Explorer Scout group and they made sure everyone was looked after.

Was very quick to take the order and bring drinks but waited an hour and a half for food to come out. Unfortunately can't review the food because we waited so long for it, we left before it came to the table.

The masala fish with chips was quite a letdown, as it came without any curry sauce, which left the dish feeling incomplete. On a more positive note, the korma was flavourful and enjoyable. Mixed experience overall.

Can’t stress how bad the service is here. We booked a table but didn’t get seated until 15 minutes later. It was an absolute mission to get them to take our order because they were so busy and we didn’t get served our main for 1.5hours after being seated.The atmosphere is like a canteen and they pack too many tables in, to the point where I had to move to let other people out and I got elbowed in the head! The food was average for how awful the service and atmosphere is.

The food wasn’t terrible, but the masala fish with chips was a letdown—there was no curry sauce, which was a bit disappointing. On the other hand, the korma tasted great. I believe there’s definitely room for improvement here.

Nice curry house in Boldmere. food was very good. Service is good too. It's licensed but you can bring your own if you want too. Always accommodating

The best asian restaurant in Sutton Coldfield. My wife and I go here often and it is by far the best around. The breadth, variety and quality of food is exceptional. The food is only matched by the incredible staff. A must if you are in the area.

Driver completely went past our house and drove round for 20 minutes before finally realising where we was. I live right by the restaurant and only had delivery as home alone with a new born baby.

Been here a few times and the curries have always been top notch , as a fan of curries since the heyday back in the eighties I have become alarmed by some restaurants in Birmingham serving slop with curry powder in , not here and long may it last . Only trouble is it does get full and you do get the local wolf fleece and stone island brigades in there who dont know how to behave when they leave the house. Apart from that ,a great curry .

Got a lamb chop main. They were the best i had in a while. I tried a bit of each of my mates curries and they were all 10/10. Worth a visit 100%

Order arrived with mint sauce missing and poppadoms - lid open on the tikka massala and the naan bread was wrong. Once opened it was tasteless and watery - won’t order again!

Came to Regards for a night out with the friends, food was excellent, very nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. Had a great time, deffo recommend!

Ordered a takeaway for first time from here and went to collect at required time. Made to wait around 15mins for it to be ready. Ordered Salmon Tikka main thinking this would be around double cost of starter price £5.90 but after phoning up to question where the Tarka Daal was in our order to be told we didn’t order the Daal and the price of two pieces of salmon was a whopping £15.95 !! This came with some warm lettuce with a bit of tomato! Definitely overpriced … Food ok but not overwhelming! We will not be returning!

outstanding customer service all night. Allergies are often a cause for concern for the family but any questions were immediately put to rest, and i would definitely recommend a visit! not to mention the brilliant food portions and prices

So pleased we found this gem on our recent work trip. We didn't finish work until 9pm, it was Valentine's night and everywhere was booked but Regards found space for us. The menu was great (lots of vegetarian options and loved the combo options if you wanted to try 2 different things!) and when I couldn't decide what to have the brilliant person serving us asked what kind of things I liked and said he'd make something especially! He was really friendly and warm and at the end he even gave all 3 of us some red velvet valentines cake to take away! The food was delicious and generous portions and I hope to return on my next trip.

Had a table booked for 8om, turned up and had to wait around 20 mins for it The place was so packed you couldn't move out of your seat without asking guests at the table behind to move so you could get out your seat. We ordered food and only after waiting around 90 minutes and asking 3 times did food start to arrive. Even then there were dishes missing with some not turning up until most of the others had been finished. The food itself was very hit and miss, my biryani was flavourless, a lamb chop was like rubber and some of the fish was overcooked and dry. When we wanted to leave we had to ask a number of times for the bill and again waited around 25 mins for it. It seems the place was far too busy for the staff they had and the owners had decided to try and ram as many people as possible in an attempt to make as much money as possible. Unfortunately it was a case of putting profit over quality and service and I won't be going back. Shame as it used to be good but the experience in Saturday was very disappointing

I performed at this restaurant on New Year’s Eve. It was an absolutely beautifully decorated and laid out room accompanied by very polite, hard-working staff, I had one of the best evenings I’ve had for a long time, the audience/customers were very appreciative, and had a wonderful evening celebrating New Year’s Eve, we danced, sang, laughed and had so much fun all night, the food in the restaurant was absolutely beautiful and the staff worked extremely hard to make sure everyone was Happy, I felt very welcome and very comfortable, there was no issues or trouble, it was a very professional and beautiful evening

Reserved a Christmas meal, greeting was heartfelt and table was well decorated. Choice of food was excellent and both traditional English and an Indian option was available. Food delivery was quick and spot on. Very attentive service and friendly. Value for money is guaranteed. Food was of a very high quality. Definitely worth a visit, we will be back.

Always have a good meal here, the manager is very welcoming and always has time to talk to the customers, which is very nice and a big reason why we come back

Its such a big restaurant which was handy as my son and wife had a pushchair, ive been numerous times and the staff are so blumin friendly and cant do enough for you, food is fantastic!!! Bonus is even though there is a huge bar in there if your feeling the pinch a bit then bring your own drinks in its allowed!!!!!!

family meal for 7 very very busy on a Saturday night food was fine and considering it was very busy didn't have to wait to long. Only issue was when they brought the food out tables wasn't that big considering 7 people 7 cups 7 plates and they was just rushing trying to place the food everywhere was way to over crowded they had no trolley and was no space... had to hold plates and stack food to make room on the table. They could see we was struggling trying to fit everything and the plates and bowls was very hot so trying to keep them away from the younger ones plus was still waiting for plates so we could dish food out so a bit unorganised and rushed in that part but other than that was a nice meal. Don't think we've ever had a issue regarding food coming here. Maybe was just a bit to busy and crazy as it was a Saturday night.

I have been searching for a new curry house for a while and have finally found a place that is consistent, the meat used is good quality unlike most other places nowadays.

Lovely place with friendly welcoming staff. Food portions are good and the cost is a good representation of the quality and taste of the food. Very attentive staff, but it can get quite busy and quite loud at times. Take away option too.

Really unhappy. Got a takeaway to find when home part of order was wrong right down to meat. Ordered a chicken dish received a lamb dish (too hot to eat) Kulcha nan was plain ????? REALLY disappointed to say the least. Toast it was.

Nice food on a packed Saturday night

I live about 4.5 miles from here so takeaway isn't practical. We regularly visit on Sunday evenings, the place is always full. Food is hot, delicious and served by a friendly team. I'm very fussy and have tried many curries all over, these have won me over, totally delicious

Went for a nice night out. Spoilt our night. Booked a table was shoved by the bar. Waiters reaching over our heads to get napkins. Asked to move then when we finished asked to take leftovers home and was thrown empty containers to do it yourself. Never been to a curry house like it. For the money you pay you expect decent customer service. Never again

Wear a coat as it's freezing in there... Food is amazing. Saj, is welcoming very friendly staff. Service is great. Live music on the weekend too. Highly recommend

Unreally scranny but a bit of a wait procedure. Atmosphere is very busy and not too great for introverts I can’t lie my mate is about to have a panic attack on the other side of the table . It smells good in here though and the bathrooms are nice , even claustrophobia approved !!

Went for a family Christmas get together, very busy,multiple large tables of guests. Still letting in walk ins and doing takeaway and yet they didn't have the staff to cope with the numbers they had.over 2 hrs for some of our party to be served, and others in our party had theirs and were finished by that time!! Absolute shambles,have heard off other people that they had the same problem too

Regards is the most amazing place friendly service and the staff are incredibly polite and especially sarge one of the best waiters there regards has become a regular place for us to eat and we love the food as it’s amazing 5 stars definitely recommended

Family meal, busy, but great service. Lovely food, couldn't eat it all, so that provided cartons to bring it home. Good menu, lots of choice, take your own drinks, there is a small Tesco next door where you can buy whatever you fancy.
