Great experience! The food was delicious and authentic, with rich flavours that really stood out. The service was excellent—Mudassar, was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Also, loved the special dessert and matka tea. Highly recommend for anyone wanting quality Pakistani cuisine.

Lovely little gem, family run business, humble staff. Food is amazing and you definitely get value for money. The prices are very reasonable, especially if you are going out for a family meal. Highly recommend trying this place out.

Lovely food with great portions, tea was excellent deffo recommend. Customer service was really good was well looked after and staff even brought a cake for a friends birthday went above and beyond to make a day to remember thank you keep up the good work.

Visited today and received Excellent service, especially during ramadan. Food was great, all prepared and made by women which is uncommon in restaurants these days, so made like it was cooked for the home rather then your generic restaurant tasting food. Lady Raja has been very kind. And was keen to help. And the staff that served was very polite too. As usual I enjoyed the special tawa and finished meal will matqa tea. Really enjoyed. for families who want to enjoy desi food with comfortable environment, it’s a good place to be.

Went there for iftari ordered tawa very nice food the lady waitress called Raja told us how good the tea is so we went back next day order another tawa and tea, again food was great and tea was lovely! service from miss Raja was excellent which is what made the visit so good. She is doing a great job making sure everyone is happy. Thank you Ms Raja.

Excellent service! Especially by Miss Raja! We went today for iftari. My mum hates going out usually as she wears the niqaab and doesn't feel comfortable. But she really liked this restaurant! Family friendly. Lovely waiters! Each one had a lovely smile and made sure we got everything we needed. The food was absolutely delicious! I was worried it wouldn't taste desi but it had just the right spices! We ordered the regular Tawa and it was more than enough for the 3 of us. We also ordered the gajar halwa, pink tea and the tandoori chai. Everything was brilliant. We come here every Ramadan for an iftari meal. We will be sure to come back! Thank you so much guys. My mums really happy today :) x

Lovely family restaurant with great staff. We visited during Ramadhan and the service was brilliant. Food was out shortly before Iftaari. Nice prayer space upstairs. Good service whilst eating. Food tastes brilliant too. No complaints.

Another visit to this restaurant today - Fantastic place for a fantastic meal id say. This is my go to place for desi grilled food on a massive Tawa. Food arrives fresh, excellent service, very nice people running the business. Highly recommended.

I buy samosa chat for aftari, first he took 20 mins to prepare, When I opened the box, ufff it was too smelly looks like prepared before 15 days. I experienced this restaurant 3 times, it's the worst of all.

Went as a family and ordered the famous tawa, rice was typical bland mirpuri rice the curry was at least a week old, lamb chops were ok. Toilets were disgusting. I was ok after that but my husband and son were fighting who’s gonna go first in the toilet, the food gave em awful poisoning

Attended last night, we had the medium platter, mango lassi, the food was not decent, the shiek kebabs were old and reheated as the were not at all soft and juicy. Did speak to the the chap serving us he did say he would get some more "fresh" ones. The point is it should be all fresh when ordered not when complained about. I'm not even going to talk about the deco. Went on a friend's recommendation, clearly his taste in food needs enhancing. I think the food it's over priced for what it is... Unfortunately I wouldn't be returning to the establishment.

Went here for a birthday meal with my family. Food and customer service was great. They also gave a 30% discount due to it being a weekday, very pleased and will be coming again soon.

Booked by phone a 1 week before and confirmed our order. Got there on time after travelling for 40 minutes and still had to wait 30 minutes for food to arrive. Food was lovely and tasty, could have been hotter as it got cold too quickly. Toilets were definitely not up to scratch!!!!.

Renovation work going on whilst we were in the restaurant, not great for the atmosphere as kids were scared from the loud drilling noises. Kindly the lady who served us did ask the builders to stop. I ordered a T-bone steak but received half a steak. When I told the waiter he came back and assured me it was a full steak. Couldn’t be bothered to argue, but for £18 would expect more than half a t-bone. Rest of the food was below average, kids burgers tasted rubbery and watery and were undercooked. Chicken steak was far too salty. Staff were very welcoming and friendly.

Food was tasteless very very very oily and very salty.. Staff are incapable of listening to simple instructions. The restaurant is really cold. Plates are dirty. Decor is very bad too. Big let down this place.

I ordered a samosa chart from here. It was a collection. I have neven eaten a chart like this. Samosa was dark brown and too much oily, chart just had samosa and chana curry no salad, no yougart, no sauce. I took 3 4 spoons only. Worst food.

Love this place for Breakfast. They do really nice Halwa Puri and Chanay. Their other food is also very nice and flavourful Very joyful and king staff members. Always great to go here.

Lovely food, stop off whenever we are in Birmingham. Every time we go the staff are very welcoming and the food is by far some of the best about. The chicken tikka is the best i have ever had. The large Tawa is amazing if there is a few of you and you don’t mind sharing.

I had my birthday party at Hawam Tawa and Grill. I dealt with sister Naz who was amazing from the start. Her communication and professionalism are the best. She was very accommodating and went the extra mile to make my birthday perfect. I highly recommend this place, the food is amazing the staff are very good. The place is clean and tidy.

It's a decent place. We ordered the medium size tawa and shared amongst 4 people, the food was okay not bad at all.

visited a few days ago after hearing some very over hyped reviews. all i can say is SAVE. YOUR. MONEY. on arrival, we gave it the benefit of the doubt, that's just on the appearance of the restaurant. We ordered the medium tawa for two people alongside water. the water bottle looked yellow and dirty so it wasn't touched. the tawa consisted of a whole load of fries and rice. i don't know if they used curly fries to be 'different' but this was below the average. the tawa wasn't sizzling like the usually do in other restaurants. the meat karahi had bones in it, which was a big put off in itself. the chicken karahi was semi decent. the shish kebabs were meh. nothing special, nothing different. Oh, the lamb chops were so tough. I was having a battle with it so just ended up leaving it. it was so hard, i could've used it as a frisbee and concussed someone in the process. left us with bad stomachs, and food poisoning. highly do not recommend. save your money, yourself and most importantly your tastebuds!!! Overall, do not go. you have been warned. I have been too many places and this was just not it.

Decent place to eat. The tawa for 2 was huge!!! Nice selection of items included in the Tawa. Service was nice and quick, waiters asked us if we needed anything else and if all was OK. The music/nasheed playing in the background was a nice volume compared to other places where my eardrums are about to explode. So I appreciated the quiet nature of this place. Only thing to improve would be if they could have a way to keep the Tawa warm while we eat. Price was reasonable too. Thank you

Was absolutely in awe with the quality of food here! You can actually sense the recipe of love in each and every dish we ordered! We had to meet the chef and why not! From the starters to mains and finishing off with a tandoori chaii the food was 10/10! This was our first visit and certainly not the last!! Service from the staff was very hospitable very family friendly. There was four of us and we ordered: small tawa - very generous portion Fish pakoray - omg! Tooo good Chapali kebab- another too good Extra tandoori roti which were extremely tasty, with some butter on just like desi style! Some spring rolls Drinks Tandoori chaii which was served in a small mattaka A must visit!

Nice comfort food. Went out with a friend for a dinner, we took platter for 1 which was perfectly enough for two of us. Good fast service , lovely staff not pushy, giving honest advice about size of the portion, clean place. Unfortunately no parking and the off street was all taken so had to use Morrisons one which is free 2 hrs only. It was good enough tume for us but if you are planning on a lengthy dinner you might want to find different opinion. It is definitely a place to come back to. Edit: So I did. However this time it wasn't that positive experience. Ordered same things plus extra. Food was very average, things on the platter didn't taste too well, unseasoned and gave that leftover food taste. It was cold and felt it was prepared in advance, and you can tell that by the looks and taste of chicken wings if you ever had then next day so this was exactly the same, dry and woody in texture. Samosa chaat good taste but samosa itself had very hard pastry that you can't break with the fork. Children menu peri peri strips looked and tasted very bland. Don't know if that was the reason for my childs sickness the next day. It wasn't nice meal, when I think of it I would say even below average, not a restaurant quality. Not sure if the reason behind it was that they had some bigger bookings for a large group of people and maybe their chef was focusing on the bigger order leaving our food to be prepared by some else what unfortunately reflected on the quality. Unfortunately I won't get going back again there and this is the note for myself to remember this.

We travelled from MK and took a family from Switzerland to this place! And it did not disappoint! Food was absolutely delicious ! We got the large tawa grill -which feeds 4-5 people and it definitely could have fed 2 more people. Staff were very friendly ! I would highly recommend if you are starving and in the Birmingham area!!

This was the first visit here by an invitation. Restaurant looks ok. Not busy, rather I would say it was quite. We order 2 medium platers, back chops, mutton crrahi and chicken crrahi aditionaly. Chops were good but the rest of the items were average in taste, nothing special. May go again sometime.

A very cosy family friendly atmosphere with great service. A large variety meat/ veg menu available to cater for your taste buds. We ordered the large Tawa which is a novelty...enough variety to satisfy the hunger prangs. The only criticism is that the food could have been a little more warmer. We're from London and don't know of any restaurants that offer Tawa menu, this seems a first. On the whole very tasty food and brilliant atmosphere, very well worth a visit. 😁👌

HMC Certified. Friendly staff. They accept card payments. There is free parking on the main road outside. The Tawa is overpriced for what you get. They were playing nasheeds instead of music which was nice.

Ordered a home delivery with just eat. Cod fish pakore yummy spot on spices. Chicken biryani is a little hot for me but tastes good. Lamb chops,lamb kebab and wings. Great taste great food.

We ordered tawa for 2 people and it was delicious. Portion was great and we're looking forward to visiting again. We also ordered pink tea and karak chai which were also very nice. We were served by Munir Ahmad and Roopa, they were very friendly and hospitable. The chef also came out to greet us. She was humble and easy to have a chat with.

Food was not cooked very well. The marinade was still raw on the starters. Service was rubbish had to keep asking for drinks and poppadoms or the lassi. Atmosphere was loud and workers running around all over the place. The tawa did not sit well on the table.

The food is awesome. The Tawa grill was enough to feed our family of 8. The price was perfect and the service was great although slow the brothers tried their best. They even have a prayer room upstairs may Allah bless them.

It was a 2nd time i visited the place. First time food was amazing. That's the reason I've got back. But today i wasn't happy at all. Seemed like a different chef. Food was way too salty and too spicy. And a taste on all mixed meet (tawa), was the same.

Amazing is an understatement, heard about this restaurant from friends and after seeing their reviews we definitely had to visit, we visited the 10 of us, had a very warm welcome and we were seated, we ordered some starters And the mains, the reason for our visit was to try out the Tawa and I shall say it was the best tawa I have ever had in The UK, Staff was amazing nice small family business, and what blew my mind was it was mainly run by ladies majority of the staff are ladies and the head chef aswell is a lady, Hat’s off to all the ladies working very hard and good to see a change in our society definitely a role model for all the ladies out there. 👏👏👏I definitely recommend everyone to visit HAWAM TAWA & GRILL and trying them atlist once I promise u will never go anywhere else do definitely try the Special TANDOORI CHAII

We are locals in Acocks Green, and have gone to several difficult restaurants here. We can confidently say, in terms of overall taste, services, and value for money this restaurant is our number 1 so far. We ordered a tawa for one person because we weren’t that hungry, but oh boy the portion was so generous, such that we have to pack some home! Special mentioning to our waitress Rupa who’s so kind in her service to us—will definitely be returning back!

The staff were lovely. The food was nice. We got 2 medium tavas, and the portion was decent for 3-4 people. We got one spicy and the other medium. The spicy one was the perfect spice.. Medium was more like a mild with a little kick. So I would definitely go for the spicy again.

Had a very pleasant experience. Clean establishment with great service from staff. The ladies front of house were helpful and I got the feeling that it's a family run restaurant. I ordered a regular tawa and it was very nice.good portions for 2 people, the spice level was perfect as we chose medium. It was well cooked and the flavours were good. I think my only issue is that the lamb chops were a little charred and the lamb and chicken curry needed more masala to accompany the meat. Other than that, everything else was lovely. I would visit again, hopefully taking the family and would certainly recommend others to try. The chef and the majority of the staff were all women, which is a refreshing change in this industry, so many thanks to all of them for their efforts. The price was a little more that what is use to be, but this is generally the trend for many restaurants now. I would say it's competitive to others. I hope to visit again. We did visit again, and the food, service and atmosphere was fantastic. Especially the prawn Puri, but I do wish, there were more of the prawns. Always love coming here!

My first visit, & i feel confident for my next time I picked up Bhindi Masala & Tandori Roti for takeaway, and had tandoori tea while waiting, i was well pleased at this hidden gem with great cooks and friendly staff, Food with good portion and reasonable deals, and takeaway was well packed and pleasant add ons, The place has great indoor & sheltered outdoor lounges.

Food is amazing hear and so is the costumer service. I have been 2 times already and will definitely come again.
