The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

We had the most amazing time at Periwala yesterday evening. We were celebrating my son’s birthday and the staff were so accommodating with the cake I had and they gifted my son a box of chocolates which he loved, it was so kind. The staff were amazing, the food was delicious and I cannot fault it! This was our second time visiting Periwala and we look forward to many more!

Words fail me….walked in, and the overwhelming smell of LPG gas was well….overwhelming. Place was totally empty. We were greeted but the most miserable looking waiter I’ve ever known. It was pretty obvious we were the first customers of the night and he just didn’t want to be in that cold, smelly empty, dull room……well, after we asked about wine and he snapped back “red” “white” “house red or house white?” It s was clear we didn’t want to be there either…and we got up and left… We’d booked on line as we were travelling through….in the end we found another restaurant which was much better. Never got chance to try the food….but if the service Ian’s the atmosphere is anything to go by, it’ll be dreadful..…

Exellent!! The food is amazing- everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, and the service was fantastic too. Absolutely spot on. We really enjoyed our evening and will definitely be going back. So glad we discovered this place. 😀

The best Indian food I’ve had in recent years. The prawn puree starter was particularly well presented and very tasty. Much recommended.

Cab you please learn how to make Byriani. I orderd it tonight,it was just Fried rice with tiny bit of chicken. BYRIANI IN MEANT TO BE MOIST,with Flavoured Rice etc. Thankyou.

Highly recommend! I went for a birthday meal with family and the whole experience was a pleasure. All staff were attentive and polite, and the atmosphere was very cosy and relaxing. We had dinner and had all 3 three course and they were all amazing. Will defiantly be returning again soon!!

order was delivered on time but food was spill in the bag and bag was torn . it was all mess. happy to send picture.

Delicious food here this evening, I couldn't fault it. My vindaloo was so hot I was dripping with perspiration... just how I like it.

The food was very delicious and the hospitality was amazing and specially the waiter named Safin was very polite and super friendly. Thanks to that guy, definitely gonna come again.
