Celebrated my birthday yesterday at Bombay Central, and it was an incredible experience! The food was absolutely amazing, packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. What made it even better was the outstanding service from the staff—huge thanks to Dhaval, Sachin Bhai,Nikunj bhai and Khushi for going above and beyond to make the evening special. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality truly stood out. The ambiance was perfect for a celebration, and it’s safe to say this birthday was one to remember. Highly recommend Bombay Central!🥳🥳

Tasty desi chicken, aloo baigan , pilau rice 🍚 & peswari naan followed by desserts of Rasmalai served by friendly staff in a vibrant atmosphere! However, Management don't seem to care about ensuring that the Toilets are kept clean, well ventilated & smelling fresh especially in a Restaurant when disgusting faecal deposits are visible for diners to see when they need to freshen themselves up after or before a meal which is Unacceptable. The tightly packed car park too is a Disaster waiting to happen with no separate exit as inconsiderate diners will block other drivers in with no room to manoeuvre & with a car wash operating in there as well , it is ridiculous & dangerous!

Amazing Experience! Bombay central exceeded all expectations. The food was flavorful and beautifully presented, the ambiance was cozy, and the service was specially from Khushi outstanding. Highly recommend for a memorable meal.

10.8.24 Tasty food Generally good food, atmosphere with usually friendly managers (were before?) & accomodating staff that is before they all left ! Review updated below after today's (30.8.20 & after) visit. Excellent. However some big headed staff probably encouraged by those who should know better tend to argue with customers , get the orders mixed up , keep them waiting for even simple things like a glass of water & then start arguing with the customer & often add service charge on a takeaway meal!Ridiculous. These members of staff need dealing with especially when they start piling rubbish from the table onto your plate while you are still eating! The management need to get the spelling on their Indian sineage corrected as it has been painted in incorrectly! Says something! Good music can even be heard downstairs in the restrooms & of course the dining area. Very enjoyable. The ambience is what distinguishes it from the rest. Seems diners unable to control their faculties end up making a mess of the restaurant toilet to probably create a homely atmosphere! Some even can't hold their drink & throw up in the urinals, disgusting! While some diners take to leaving the toilet seats covered with toilet paper which they have previously lowered themselves on & leave them there for the next user of the cubicle to deal with! Awful sight! & that too when some of the dishes have become bland & lack a spicy taste unless the management are on an economy drive & saving on the cost of buying spices? There has now been a revival of the very tasty food from the kitchen with extremely helpful & friendly staff like Raj , Seldrin , Domingo & Nish . The music & buzz is exhilarating. Today's (30.8.20) dining experience was excellent with helpful friendly staff & with a model train whizzing around & hooting overhead while expecting the passengers to keep it & the surrounding areas & especially the toilets down the stairs clean. Operating a car wash facility (cash flow?) in the already tight car park is not a good idea as diners are unable to park in any available space & could lead to collisions! 14.8.21 Breaking out of 🔐 lockdown & exciting the taste buds with delicious lamb chops , lamb kohlapuri , peshwari naan & then washed down with the mojito, masala coke , rasamalai & mitha paan! Complimented by the ambient surroundings , throbbing sound of music & friendly staff of Saldrin , Nish , Jay, Dhiviti , Bala , Xavier & Sachin with Rishi managing & holding it all together admirably. Beware of the wildly arm waving desi diners (typical!) who will try & stop you from parking in the car 🚗 Park with soap 🧼 & water 💧 spraying around from the car wash as they want the space for themselves & want you to miss out on the dining experience 🍽 & hearing the whistling & whizzing around of the train circling around above under the watchful eyes of the pigeons! 6.2.22 The meltdown day with sanitiser dispenser machine empty & hardly anyone doing a temperature check or using hand sanitisers & the credit card machines were not working! Staff ran around looking confused. Even then, tasty food was served by friendly & helpful staff. However the car wash in the customer's parking area which leads to a dangerous situation when trying to enter & leave the restaurant car park especially when dark & needs to be addressed. 12.2.22 The booking system was in chaos with irate customers around & some leaving annoyed having been told to go elsewhere if they did not like it as there was no room for them at the inn! Staff were running around & confused with the orders & some were not even familiar with the menu either! Rishi was a credit & the food was tasty even though the WIFI system & the prevailing atmosphere seems to have seen better days after the staff members including the excellent manager who were there before have now left ! Hmm.. Seem to be getting big headed with attitude problem & lacking people skills! 13.3.22 & Flat coke Tasty breakfast served by friendly staff Anna & Disha in a lively atmosphere with music & clean environment. 10.8.24: Bad!

We ordered a takeaway on Xmas Eve. Food we ordered was delicious and freshly made. Portions were very generous and smelt so good. Jeera chicken had a wonderful fragrance to it and methi gotas were fluffy and lots of methi in it. There were complementary papads , fresh salad and different chutneys. The staff were very friendly and kept the food ready. Definitely order more food in future. Thank you Mr. Daval for a wonderful service.

Below average food taste. Especially chicken tikka and Chicken chilly are worst prepared. Staff was nice and atmosphere was also decent. But need to focus on food preparation.time to be spend on food preparation and food served in few minutes like tastes like it’s a ready to eat food…food taste is a major miss in restaurant and disappointed completely .

We visited the place to celebrate my daughter's birthday after hearing a lot of hype about the food. Unfortunately, it was a letdown. We ordered chili chicken, but it had no authentic Chinese flavor. Next, we tried the chicken tikka, which wasn’t properly roasted. The food was subpar and arrived within minutes, clearly pre-made and ready to eat. We decided to leave after just an hour, not out of disappointment, but because the quick service made it clear the food wasn’t freshly prepared. I honestly don’t understand why it’s so hyped.

Such a lovely restaurant. We had the festive set menu with nursery mums. Big group. Waitress did so well serving the food in good time while it was still hot. Very good food. The inside is also light and airy, not cramped at all. This may soon become our new favourite local Indian

Visited recently. It is a lovely and spacious restaurant, but feels like more tables have been added so gets very crowded and noisy with large groups. Since the renovation, prices have increased a lot and portions shrunk. Outrageous prices for many dishes for eg the paneer tikka - just 4 pieces for £13.95 is overkill. The methi gota portion is also smaller and each gota is smaller. For me the quality of the food is average.

The garlic naan was soft with a delicious buttery hint, and the jeera rice paired well with all the curries. While I initially requested the naan and roti with butter, the roti came plain. However, the staff quickly accommodated my request and brought butter to the table—a small but thoughtful gesture that elevated the experience. The service truly stands out here, with staff ensuring that every detail is taken care of to make your time enjoyable. Prices are competitive compared to other local restaurants, and the portions are generous, ensuring great value for money. I had visited Bombay Central a couple of years ago, before it was forced to close due to burst water mains. I am thrilled to see the restaurant has come back better and stronger. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with high-spirited staff who provide friendly service with a smile. The model train feature on the ceiling, a unique touch, is still there and as charming as ever. A new addition—the clay pigeon feature—adds character to the space. I also had an engaging chat with the staff and suggested they add some quirky fun with themed t-shirts, like giving table managers the title of "Station Master" and order takers "Ticket Masters." It would add to the already delightful dining experience. Overall: Bombay Central gets a full 5 out of 5 stars from me. A must-visit for delicious food, exceptional service. Highly recommend!

I have dined at this restaurant several times and on each occasion the food has been of the highest quality/standard. The staff very polite and accommodating and the atmosphere served well by the theme of the restaurant - a train running around the whole place. Hence it's fun for all, with great food and service.

Have come back to the restaurant after almost a year. Everything looks & feels the same apart from the food. Food is average. “That I can get in any restaurants in harrow”. I think they have lost the charm of Bombay Central what it originally was. I ordered Sheek Kebab and asked them to be “well done.. food arrived quick. But it was very chewy and not “well done” so asked to take it back and do it properly. Came back after 5mins. Still not done and had to return it for a replacement order. The staff serving us were v attentive, I’ll give them that. I thought between 2 ppl (1 adult & 1 child) £79.09 was a bit too high. Hope they improve.

I have been coming to Bombay Central since they have opened around 2016 when I was a kid. Today, I am much older and I still love Bombay Central the same as I did when I was little. Whenever there was a special occasion in the family, I still and will always go to Bombay Central to celebrate the occasion due to the fantastic staff and food that is available. Being a vegetarian, my favourite dishes are the Paneer Tikka Masala and the Veg Biriyani. I highly recommend the Crispy Corn, Mogo and Manchurian if anyone would like to try. However, these are just the few dishes I love in Bombay Central as there are just too many excellent dishes to name. Overall, I would urge anyone to go to Bombay Central as the food and staff will never disappoint you.

The atmosphere was nice, reminders on India, eg, the railway signs, the train running on the ceiling mounted tracks. Not you typical cheesy Indian atmosphere. The taste of the food no more than average. Not something to write home about. One visit was enough. The food left me with reminders for quite a few days afterwards. The afterburn, the multiple visits to the bathroom, etc.

We hosted a party in the private events room. All guests had a wonderful time, the food and service were brilliant. Decorations are a high standard. It's a unique place. Special thanks to Dhaval for helping organise it

Had dinner here last night - food was okay, pretty average for an Indian restaurant in the Harrow vicinity. I love the concept of the restaurant but It does get very loud in there and tables are quite close to each other. One thing I am disappointed about is that the venue charges you £0.40 more for a butter naan vs a plain naan! I found this absolutely crazy - I have compared this to other equivalent restaurants around the area and there are no additional charges. As a customer this is a rip off as cost of the dishes is high enough to have sufficient margin to cover the cost of a spread of butter! It can easily add up if you are a big group of people unaware that there is a difference. Don’t think I will be going back anytime soon or will take a dollop of butter myself!

Cool Indian restaurant in a spacious old pub location. Set-up to resemble a railway station in Bombay. Authentic food that's slightly different from all the other Indian restaurants you've been to before. Very friendly and attentive service. Reasonably priced. Highly recommended! We went as a large family group to celebrate Diwali.We booked the Rajdhani Express package with vegetarian options. The starters were delicious, my favourite was the Masala Mogo and crispy bhajai. Actually the 4 starters were enough to get full on. Luckily there was a break between the starters and Mains and we had time to chit chat but more important had the time to enjoy the trains on the 2 tracks. The mains were then served hot and tasty.The staff were very helpful.Big thank you to the waiters/es who made us feel welcome and well looked after. We had a fabulous evening for my husbands 40th birthday. We are already regular customers but this was the first time we hosted a big party in the private events dining room, we had almost 60 guests. The party planning with the Bombay Central team was very smooth, despite my bespoke requests and they managed the evening itself really well. The food was delicious, service was great and our friends and family all had a great time. Special thanks to Rishi, Ana, Vim & Daval, as well as all the staff in the kitchen and helping behind the scenes. Would highly recommend Bombay Central for a fantastic evening, don't forget the crispy corn, chilli paneer & papri chat, no other Indian restaurant that we've tried have been able to top these dishes!

Great food and atmosphere on a relatively busy Sunday evening. Some dishes were slightly pricey, but this was completely justified by the great flavours and generously sized portions. Can highly recommend the Tandoori Chicken Wings and the Chicken Corriander.

The entrance is uniquely designed and beautifully decorated, with both indoor and outdoor seating areas that are modern and stylish. The staff and service are excellent, and the Bombay Central and London Tube themes are seamlessly integrated throughout. Even the basement party area has a chic, vibrant vibe!
