Great food, great hospitality. Loved the experience.

Some of the best dosa’s in London. Really love the taste. Sometimes it’s a hit and miss on the chutney’s, but overall good. A lot of the times the dining place is not that clean and also some food can be really oily so hopefully service can improve. If those points can be worked on it can be a great place to dine.

Great value food in a quiet cafe style setting. Never fails to serve tasty fare and beer too, if you're so inclined.

we had team lunch in Feb-21st, 2025, where we have been served buffet contains, veg starters and non-veg. The items were not up to the mark in taste wise. We felt disappointed, however, previously, i had a very good experience, when i ordered meals as Thali as individual.

Very poor hygiene rating, they barely clean the table and left alot of food mess on the floor prior to arrival. Staff also watch you eat.

Waited, ages to get our food. Until half hour later, only to find out the guy completely forgot to place our food and drinks order. This is not on when you in service industry. Better to go to reliable places. Ended up leaving without a fuss. Clearly didn’t have time for us.

During my visit to Sri Rathiga two weeks ago, despite the establishment's high volume of patrons, my family and I were promptly seated. While the food quality was excellent, the chilli idli contained excessively large pieces, resulting in my son's choking incident. Service was somewhat slow. However, I would still recommend the restaurant to others.

Avoid going there if you can, booked table prior to visiting. Got there before the rush hour and ordered our drinks and starter...people who came after us, their food/drinks arrived. We were still waiting for our drinks 30mins later. Turns out the gentleman had forgotten to put our order into their system. Too busy serving bigger groups

The only dosa place that I like exactly the same taste and flavour. I have been coming here for many years and still exactly the same but now I think they need to update the dining experience and possibly make the place bigger as there is only limited seating and gets booked very fast.

In a nutshell? AVOID if you have a flair for taste and quality and expect some basic common sense service Want more detail? read on: Went for dinner with a friend. Food was very average. Don't try anything other than southindian because all other dishes would not even qualify as average taste. We ordered one sabji and butter naan. Naan was stiff and hard. Not cooked and tasted very bland. We ordered crispy savory and the server had no clue how its supposed to taste. She made three rounds to kitchen until we decided to leave it and not spoil our evening. Cook was clueless as well. They shouldn't explain items from their menu which they aren't sure. But as typical indian style, they come across as if they know what they are talking about until the dish arrives and you realise it was a mistake to go by their explanation. The worst part is their attitude. I wouldn't call it rude but just plain laid back. Again typical indian style don't care disposition. Starters came right half way through and soon they had main course ready....they just dumped main course on table without asking, leaving it to go cold and dry. I don't think it takes too much brains to realise that main course should be served only when asked for not when cook wants it out of sight or servers want to clear their serving list. But as i said, who care when management is indian, severs are indian and even customer are almost all indians/asians.... So what if its in London, we Indians are great at leaving the mark of our behaviour everywhere. And by the way, I am an Indian as well. Born and raised in India, so not trying to be racist here. I just spend 20 years of my life in India in this culture, so i can spot the attitude and relate to it. Our main course was sitting on our table for 10 mins till we finished the starters which was served very late anyway and by that time the main course had turned into something I would never eat had it not costed so much. All this delay when there were only two other tables occupied in restaurant. One can only imagine the service levels when its busy. When we asked for an empty bowl, the guy just gave us a blank stare as if we were asking for Aladdin's lamp :-) So at one point I was asking myself why i even bother coming here when Rose(now mumbai junction) restaurant in Kingsbury is just 5 mins drive from here. I am surprised at those other good reviews. I guess they have not been to restaurants like Rose or Sarvana Bhavan etc which is where you can see a clear difference in quality and quantity. Hence, i say avoid. If someone is still unsure, go to those other quality indian restaurants and then compare. A message for management too, to up their game Overall, the food was very poor, the service was appalling and the very laid back don't care style attitude. So value for money? I would say zero...

My Hot favourite restaurant in town!!! Authentic South Indian taste with super service. Milan served us very nicely and addressed our all allergic requirements. Excellent food, must visit this place foodie lovers. Recommended South Indian restaurant.

Authentic Indian style taste. We ordered Chef Special Biryani with Raita, Chilly panner, dosa all tastes best. I will recommend for those who are looking for Indian tastes like food.

Hadn't been to Shri Rathiga's for a number of years. Wish I had been back earlier. Great food. Dosas, chana / chole dishes, idly etc was just great. Great value, prompt, attentive and quick service. Excellent dinner -Very reasonable for 6 people who all enjoyed their food.

Very basic and function premises but more than compensated by excellent service and food. Would be happy to recommend Sri Rathiga who wants to enjoy the tast of South Indian dishes

I tried food from so many restaurants but when i had my dinner in Sri radhiga restaurant, it's was amazing test. And the service was great, excellent. The manager and staff is very polite and helping nature. It's my humble request to people plz one time come and try lunch or dinner u forgot others restaurant. One's again i would like to say thanks to manager,staff and all management. I will highly recommend this place.

I am going to this place for over 5 years They make nice food but i was disappointed today as they served leftover food from yesterday Idly had a thick layer on top which usually happens when you heat up an already cooked idly also the upma we ordered was not fresh I think we were served leftover food

Excellent no frills just good food

Website doesn’t work apparently so even though we booked we had to wait 20 mins for a table. Apart from that the food was amazing. It was all vegetarian, great selection and all had a mix of spices and tastes. Mogo and dosas are a must have. Service was really quick too

Everything too crispy, dosa too crispy like papodome, also ordered chole bhature. Bhature too crispy, and masala idly too ☹️. Any one ordering, order medium roast. This is my 3rd time experience.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch. A special shoutout to pushti , who provided fantastic service throughout the evening. I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant! The food was flavorful and expertly prepared, with each dish tasting as good as it looked. Very good food. Always fresh and hot. Comes quickly, generally they bring food as soon as ready so if you come with a few people you may have to share. Which is the best part for us when we go so that we can try different things.. Very reasonable price and easy to accommodate vegan and Jain or Swaminarayan. They can make as you ask, not like a big restaurant where staff doesn't know much of the food and culture. Best place for a quick lunch or dinner.

Placed an order for collection, got home to have received dosa with no masala and no chatni’s given, when called back they wouldn’t deliver the correct order, and had to go through a lengthy conversation to get a refund. Ended the evening with cereal for dinner.

Sri Rathiga have done catering for me 2 events recently. Both times the food was spectacular. The pizza/masala dosa, utappam, idly and daal were very tasty. The service we received Milan and the rest of staff was equally as good. Highly recommended! 👌

Good food but awful service, very rude staff, waited 30 mins for payasam, which you would expect to come soon at an authentic south Indian place and the staff wasn't even sorry. Won't be going there again. Do not recommend it. Also zero ventilation for hot days.

Went there on a Sunday evening and it was quite busy with long queue outside as well (which is good sign). In terms of food - their dosas are fine however their Kaima Idly is truly outstanding. I highly recommend this dish. I haven’t had this dish anywhere else and is also one of the reason we go there.

First time round I had chilli garlic mushrooms with my brother, I found a hair in my food, considering both of us are bald & clean shaven so no chance of our own hair going into the food, it was quite a long hair. We told the owner & all he said was “I’ll let the chef know” didn’t remove the item off the bill, didn’t apologise, neither did he acknowledge that we did not inform health and safety or environmental officers to come down. I gave this restaurant a second chance & low & behold, I got food poisoning for 4 days, thankfully I wasn’t hospitalised. But it was from the Daal, I did a takeaway for Plain & Masala Dosa on Sunday night to take to work for Monday morning & I got sick at work whilst eating this, I was beaten up for 4 days & ever since then I haven’t been back & I never will return again, it’s a sad sight because some items on menu were lovely but after this poor experience & for the owner for not caring about customer welfare or feedback, I’m flabbergasted & I don’t plan to return anytime soon or ever again. The waiters/waitresses were brilliant, very friendly, took my concern seriously & I obviously think the issues put forward were pressed by the owner. 4/10

Reminds you of the classic small restaurant in the side of the road in Kerala with metal dishes and chairs. Nostalgic, the dosa is tasty,have not tried much else.

Great South Indian restaurant, with varieties of culinaries from idlis, dosas, chilli tofu etc. No service charge here unlike other restaurants. Jain option available on request for dishes with no onion no garlic. A must try.

We have been there on Sunday evening fully crowded, love the food real taste of South India. Must try their Mysore Masala with cheese Good and quick service.

Tasty vegetarian food including dosas is served with staff in cramped surroundings. Parking is available in side streets. Menu has variety. WiFi is available. However the kitchen door at the rear if left open can let in insects which is not good for the cooking area & then the food is served to diners. Not a good policy for staff to take money from the paying customer & then tell him/her to vacate the table quickly. Ruins everything & it also has a silly till closing policy especially with unhelpful staff around. & dead rats are seen lying in the alleyway at the back. 24.10.22 Tasty food & a "seating charge" is added to the bill which is not mandatory! Where else, but! 7.1.23 Tasty food served in a clean environment. WiFi needs sorting out. 17.3.23 Tasty food with grim staff around. I have been there multiple times. Once the white chutney was spoilt and tasted sour and bad. Another time we ordered extra hyderabadi rice to take home and the next day we discovered a small maggot crawling in the rice, it was horrible, who knows what was in the food we already ate. The hygiene there is appalling, never going there again!

Large selection of South Indian food like dosas and idly served with 3 types of chutney. Fully vegetarian restaurant, alcohol also served here. The good thing is they don't have service charge here.

Food was very good but the service no so much. The manager was rude and not very welcoming. It felt like they were doing us a favour by providing food. Blamed us for table position which was obstructing the path for the waiters which they set. Not our fault they tried to squeeze in two tables of four in the narrow space. We liked one of the dishes and asked for one more but made us feel guilty by telling there are other reservations and havr people waiting outside even though we couldn't see anyone outside the door and the tables behind us were completely empty. It it wasn't for the rude manager and slow service I would happily go again.

Very poor attitude by the waiter who has been away for sometime. He was passive aggressive and reminded me of past waiters with anger management issues, especially towards women! Sorry but the Taliban attitudes don't work here. Refused seating on account of 14 people arriving at 7pm. When I ordered I asked if he could ask the chef for the food to be VERY hot. Instead of graciously accomodating my reasonable request. He just lectured me incessantly that it was hot. The idly's I was served were dense, reheated, luke warm and not hot. When seats were given to a group of 5 (not 14) he again argued that the large group had changed their size to 12 and would come at 7.20pm. He asked me why he'd lie. Yes I'd like to know too. He was beligerent, unhelpful and in my face. He's in the service industry and if he can't treat customers with respect he should do another job. The other waiter who did not serve us today, is always polite, efficient and helpful. He is a gentleman not aggressive like today's one.

We love eating here. I think they make the best dosas compared to other places we've been to. Also the other dishes in their menu are equally good. And always try their chefs special. They change it every 2 - 3 weeks but I don't think you can go wrong.

The staff accommodated a large group of us who walked in on a busy day at the restaurant. Really appreciate the service! The food was excellent as usual. The mysore masala dosa was fantastic and had the right amount of spice. They also have a wide range of chutneys!

After a long time found something authentic, each dish different and flavoursome compared to other places where all the Chinese dishes taste the same!! Good,polite and quick service. Will definitely come again:))

Went for a family and friend meal out. Food was awesome. Especially mini tiffin. Service was good. Will recommend it to everyone. Will go back again.

Food was as good as always, they were busy so initial service was a bit haphazard but fast. Friendly and expert staff. We were a large group so a little noisy and the seating area is quite small so would advise booking ahead.

Best dosa, coconut chutney is good, bhajia amazing. What a teal good selection of South Indian fayre.

This is the place to go, if you fancy veg south indian. This is as close as it gets to authentic south indian flavours in my opinion. Saravana bhavan does not even come close to this place. Its a must try for everyone. Anyone Ive recomended, absolutely love the food here. Even the fussiest of non veg eaters, still enjoyed their meal. Only one down side the interior needs a face lift may feel a bit run down for some. Quite small restaurant, so can get bit stuffy on busy days. We always book as there have been times when we have had to wait for a table 30mins. Amazing waiters and prices and portions are very reasonable. We will be coming back for sure. Thanks

Great authentic Indian food. elderly Indian community love this place. The staff are amazing, friendly and hard working. The manager is very friendly, honest and humble! Favourite dished are chilli mogo, cashew mutter panner, paper roast, dessert are fabulous. Always order masala tea. Priced very modestly max £20 pp

For me it's a ritual now to come here once a month and just eat authentic indian food especially vegetarian, every time i was greeted with happy faces and consistently good food. Once you try this place, you'll keep coming again. Thank you shri rathiga

This is an authentic South Indian restaurant in the area and they serve best authentic food. We been going to this place and my kids love the food here. I have to say all the staff in the restaurant are friendly and always try to accommodate your request within reason. Please don't forget to try their salt n pepper Toffu and Mysore masala

The staff attitude is very bad and the lady is very rude . Its a dosa place and they refusing to give extra chunty and sambar . This is the second time we went and they came up with new rules and wanted to charge extra for everything . The place was empty and the food was cold when we complained he was not interested . They refused to do heating and the tables were dirty . Please avoid this place as this is a rip offfffff.
