Okay, so, Abercorn? Seriously good. Like, the food is actually really tasty, and the people working there are super friendly. Plus, parking? Loads of it! And the best part? They don't rush you out the door after two hours. It's just a chill, good place to eat. Paneer Mongolian is must Try

I recently visited this shisha place at the back of Everest, and I have to say, it was a huge disappointment. First off, the service was incredibly slow. We waited over 30 minutes just to place our order when it was very quiet , and when the staff finally came around, they seemed disinterested and unfriendly. It felt like we were bothering them by being there. To make things worse, we were made to stand around even though there were more than 10 empty tables. It was really frustrating to see so many available seats while we were left waiting not allowed to stand because we didn’t order shisha though ordered a plethora of drinks. This has never been an issue before! The shisha itself was subpar. The flavors were weak, and it hardly produced any smoke. I’ve had much better experiences at other places where the shisha was rich and flavorful. Overall, I left feeling frustrated and unsatisfied. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a good shisha experience based on its poor customer service and the “shisha manager” who was rude, disinterested and unable to provide a good reason for making 3 people of a 6 person party wait. Save your time and money and go somewhere else!

As frequent visitors, we always get exceptional service from the team. Benny, always smiling, Mahesh - always remembers our preferences, Shumi, Rana & Sagar - always smiling! Such fantastic service from staff, and no requests declined. A wide selection of food for vegetarians. Freshly made dishes and food does not come out dripping in a pool of oil like other local curry houses. ! It’s a clean and brand new modern decor, clean toilets, friendly staff, parking and overall, fantastic food. Their Paneer Tikka and Garlic chilli Mogo is one of the best in area. Very generous portion sizes too. Biriyani was good size as well. There are no TV screens which makes it a great place for family. Its our no.1 Go to venue! Keep up the great work Team Abercorn! Gem of a restaurant in the heart of Stanmore, such lovely food, beautiful decor and great service. There is a good sized car park to the front and rear which is a plus for any restaurant. The Chicken Chatpata is the star of the show and a must have if you go there. Reasonably priced Indian food and a good choice of beverages. Will definitely go again.

Great food and friendly service. We've been there several times and never had a dish we didn't love. Always busy in the evenings, but that's because it's so good!

Benny did a fabulous job looking after our family (a group of 15) celebrating the parents anniversary. The food was great but the service was the star of the show.

Me and my family had a really good time at Everest. The food was tasteful and in good portions. We also had a server, Beni, who was super helpful and constantly ensured we had everything we needed. If you’re looking for great food and great service, this is the place to go!

Phenomenal… quite possibly the best I’ve ever had. We attended as a work party of around 10 mid week and we couldn’t have asked for more. The service was slick, the menu is amazing, the food was delicious! It’s just top marks all round 👏🏻

I live in Cardiff and came to this restaurant for the second time to meet with my school friends. Both times I've had a brilliant experience, great food, great atmosphere, really friendly and helpful staff. Best of all, there is no pressure to leave. We were given time to relax and enjoy our time and food 👏

Yano what I never leave reviews but you guys deserved it today honestly food was great service was great literally came for a late 30th birthday dinner with the misses and we enjoyed honestly I even ordered lamb chops I wasn’t really a big fan of those and they even cancelled it off my order

Service is a bit annoying to get properly when it's busy or you sit in the corner and service person are not looking your way to get attention. Otherwise great.

I have been here a few times and have never been disappointed. The food is excellent and so are the staff. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys great food and atmosphere. You may need to book as it can get busy.

On November 24, 2024, the Jain Association of the UK held a memorable Diwali function at Everest Abercorn Stanmore, where attendees praised the outstanding service, food, and decorations provided by the restaurant. Many thanks to Vineeth, the Restaurant Manager, and his dedicated staff for their exceptional service that contributed to a wonderful experience enjoyed by over 100 guests. Everyone agreed that they all had a wonderful time and look forward to future celebration at Everest Abercorn.

The starters were fine.But the chicken tikka masala was made using chicken thigh meat(cheaper) instead of breast meat. For the price l would expect better.

The service was really great. We have a baby and they sorted out an end table for us so it was easier for us to handle the children! Food was great at always and couldn't fault anything. Sohail and Salon were our waiters and they went beyond our expectations to make sure that we were okay.

Good food as before and still with great ambience

I recently had my 50th Birthday Party here, and from the time when I booked it, I was blown away. Back then, I could not picture it, but when all the decorations were done, it was epic. My first interaction was with Sumi, who showed me the function suite . She introduced me to Vineeth, whom I believe the manager is. He then discussed with me the different types of packages I could have in terms of food and what we did choose in the end was loved by all my friends and family and they still can't stop commenting how good the food was. On the day of the party Vineeth had put Beni in charge to look after us and he was very attentive whenever I needed him he was right there to help, even when it came down to the smallest request like getting the kids meals like chicken nuggets and chips or noodles and chips and they made it mild to suit that particular child's palette. Beni, you were amazing. You were truly a gent, and you were a great help on the day whenever I needed you. I also hired a DJ on the day of the party. Vineeth had recommended me the decorators which they use normally and I called her up and she did an amazing job but just don't take my word for it have a look for yourself with the pictures and videos I have posted on this review it totally blew me away. I just want to say a big thank you to Vineeth and Beni and the rest of the staff who had made my party flow seamless and they made my 50th birthday a truly memorable one.

Our favourite Indian restaurant.

Amazing & Tasty Food. I loved everything we ordered. Grilled prawns were my favorite, huge king size. Salmon grilled was perfection. Chicken lollipops were awesome and good quantity. The drinks were yum yum. Family dinner was a success at this restaurant. Place to go!!

AJ, Mahesh, Sumi and Naz were very helpful and friendly. Thank you! We started with drinks. Prices are decent, cheaper than down on the south coast. Request for Milkshakes and they will tell you if they have Vanilla, strawberry and/or chocolate. For starters we had mix grill, extra tandoori wings (our favorite), Mongolian paneer, chilli chicken and Crispy dry wings (if you have with sauce, it may be spicy for children but is about same as tandoori). For starters I can recommended you get some of these. For mains butter chicken and daal makhani. To accompany get Naan. Cheese and butter mixed. We also occasionally also get takeout

We had our fmly of 9 diwali lunch on Saturday. From start to finish our dining experience was excellent. Our waiter served us well, very polite with our order and service. Starters were all delicious, meat samosas, malai chicken nonveg mixed grills varieties chicken, lamb chops were all marinated well with subtle flavoured spices tender /succulent, cooked to perfection in tandoor. Mains again was equally tasty desi chicken, lamb buna, methi matar a little too sweet. Desserts: kulfis and ice-cream were great. But not too keen on fusion desserts Thank you will be back in a few days!

First time visitor and rather enjoyed it. The decor is uninspiring, too many coloured lights which makes it look overly pimped up. That said, the service and food was good/ verging on great. In particular the Desi Chicken was: silky; not very spicy and great. I will definitely come back when I'm in the area.

I have dined here several times & in fact, it's one of my favourite restaurants.

My first time at this restaurant. Atmosphere was buzzing on a Friday night. Our meal was delicious and they were happy to make mine a bit milder. Staff were great and we were not rushed at tge end of the evening. I'd recommend this gem to everyone.

More staff should stay in the restaurant area. Could have easily given 5 Stars.

Service was excellent. We book table for family gatherings having large choices of menus. Cocktails were excellent as well. Highly recommended for family and friends gatherings. Large space for parking and it’s in the heart of Stanmore. Staff is very friendly and supportive. I would recommend to go for EVEREST SPECIAL FISH and all food was delicious and worth it.

Good food and ambience but very expensive compared to other similar restaurants.

Went here for my nephews birthday. Was our first time but definitely won't be the last. The food was amazing. There really wasn't a dish I could criticise. Both veg and non veg dishes were delicious. Service was great. Staff were so helpful and efficient. The atmosphere was great not too loud but nicely busy. Would recommend.

Abercorn Stanmore is such a hit! Great food and great service. The crispy fried wings are a fave, the Makai bhel something I thought wouldn't be great but was delicious! We ordered it twice, the butter chicken was so tasty! Highly recommend for good indian food. We have also hired out their function room for a party and have to say service was great! The set up they did was amazing and they attended to all our needs and requests! So anyone who needs a small venue for a party or engagement etc definitely check out their function room.

Food was nice. I love an Indian but I’m not the best with spice. I ordered the fake butter chicken expecting it not to be spicy but it still had a kick. I wish it said how spicy it was next to each dish. The others in the group who do like spice really enjoyed their meals. The service was also very slow

We dine here regularly. The food is amazing and the all the team are amazing too. The service is in comparable to a 5 star hotel. The owner is very lucky to have such a dedicated team focusing on providing amazing food and great service. We booked the private suite upstairs for my daughters 21st birthday party. It was a truly wonderful party, organised very well, food was great, staff were amazing. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone who wants a great party. Our main contact, with whom we arranged the party, was Vineeth he was attentive to every detail, and provided us with full support and assistance. His advise was greatly appreciated, and we found him to be really professional at all times. On the night of the party, we were looked after by Beni and Mihir, both were really great and the party was a success with their help. Especially Beni, he helped with the sound system. Both were very polite and smiling and treating our guests very nicely. Thank you to Everest Abercorn for a memorable party.

Groupon deal and did we enjoy our choice. Mixed grill platter Fries Naan Drinks Would definitely come again and happily pay full price. Spotless and welcoming.

Terrible we had a big party but the food was cold & u r not allowed to take food out as it was their policy despite if someone is not well surely they should have the courtesy to allow for 1 person. However if u want to do a takeaway then u go downstairs pay for it then u r allowed. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

Food was good as usual. Tables spaced out in line with covid guidelines. Staff friendly and service was good. Bit surprised when the bill came in that 12% service charge was added as this was not the case previously. Bit to noisy as a lot of people chattering.

Bought take away for over £104.00 for my wife's birthday on 21/7/24 from Everest Abercorn in Stanmore London and of the three Lamb Biriyani there was very little Lamb and it was very disappointing. We have been a regular customer and never had this problem Shan

A group of us dined here for the euros quarter final and we received impeccable service. The staff were ever so friendly and hospitable. Great parking space available and large size indoors

Food wasn't bad, but also wasn't great. Service was almost none existent as the only staff we could find and approach were the staff behind the bar. Understandable that it was an England euro match game and all, super busy. Almost at every opportunity, I went to the car park, I was asked by the car park attendant if I was leaving 🤦🏾‍♂️.

£7 for 2 popadoms that taste average? Has the masala gone to your heads!!! Food is nice, but a few price concerns that could stop me going back. A rubbish peshwari naan for £9.90? Some things are reasonable, but this is a joke. Maybe wear a spice mask next time you adjust the menu prices.

No longer cares about customer service. Ordered a takeaway and spent close to £100. When I went to collect the order, despite ordering multiple starters, I noticed they only had one mint and garlic sauce. I asked if I could have more, and was told its their 'policy' to only give one of each with a takeaway. Frankly, that's either just greed or stupidity. When your spending that much money on that much food, charging for sauces is trivial and petty. I've been a lifelong customer and eaten there for many years, but now I won't return on principle.

Only had starters. Food slightly oily. Sunday lunch is quiet. Parking is a headache. 04/24 Went again. Liked lamb chops, mogo, veg manchuria, lamb samosa and keema. Average on kebab, jeera chicken, chilli lamb and crispy potatoes bhajia.

Extremely great quaility tasting food, not had better anywhere else! The entire team are very friendly and the customer service is great.

Then but their food from cheap suppliers who don’t clean the chicken properly. Chicken covered in hairs (filament) usually found on cheap frozen supermarket wings. Service was 1/10. First time here with my Family and never again.

We came as a party of 10ish to celebrate two birthdays, the service as far as I could tell was decent, the servers friendly and available and everything was brought out as ordered Not sure if it was just a very busy day but the dining room was very loud, hard to hear, can't say much for the atmosphere really, it was dated and bland Food was fine, not bad, not great, just plain. Everything was rather lacking in spice or that kind of authentic Indian flavour. Seems catered for white British people. The best thing we had was lamb bhuna and fried bindhi. All in all, it was a fine experience, pribably wouldn't go back but I don't really have anything negative to say about it.

I would never eat there again. Not worth the money. No-one at restaurant when we got there & we were still ignored. Staff are not attentive. Starters are reasonable & chicken curry we tried was nice. Fish dish was absolutely awful! Four of us tried it & thought the same. Gave feedback to waiter after he asked if we liked our food & still nothing done about it. He returned with the chefs justification etc. We were left unhappy.

Always properly cooked, well flavoured authentic North Indian food. Never had a bad meal and reasonably priced.

Starter came without hot plate and was cold, the main was okay. They did not come to ask if everting was okay but automatically added service charge of 12.5% hence the low score

Lovely place for authentic Indian food and a drink. 4 Star because it can get quite busy when full, hard to hear yourself talk. Management, please install sound absorbing panels on ceilings etc. Otherwise great!

2018: Enjoyable evening. Saturday's are very busy so expect to wait long for the food to arrive. Overall nice place for a family evening out. Edit: Re-Visit March 2024 Sunday Lunch visit, surprisingly busy for a Sunday, staff were all great and coped well, food was on point, the ambience as good as I remember from the first visit.

The chilli chicken took me back home to Kolkata. Additionally, the saag chicken was very well cooked and went perfectly with the naan. However, the butter naan was quite dry. The outdoor seating is airy and very calm. Washrooms are clean and well maintained. Overall, it is a great spot for a family dinner or office party.

I live quite close Abercorn but usually avoid going due to the quality of food but last evening decided to give it a try so ordered two starters. The fish chilli and chicken chilly were both were very salty and un healthy.

We used the function room upstairs to celebrate my birthday party. From the start Vineeth was so helpful, accomodating and really did his best to personalise my event to the way I wanted it. The space upstairs with the bar is really spacious and was just perfect for our event (we had 80 guests). Our friends and family really enjoyed the food, every item was tasty and on the day Beni, Sanskaar and Mihir were so helpful and kept everything moving smoothly. I would highly recommend Everest Abercorn for your next event but having eaten in their restaurant, can also recommend their food downstairs too.

We’ve been to this restaurant a number of times so thought it would be nice to revisit for lunch on our day off. The food was good, it was tasty and the same as we’ve previously experienced however the naan was cold. When we told the waiter that the naan was cold he rudely suggested that it had gone cold because it was sitting on our table for a while. It had only been sat on our table for 5 minutes. He then offered to heat it in the microwave for us which I thought was awful for service. I wouldve expected this to be rectified with fresh naan. The same waiter was quite rude and arrogant and frankly ruined our lunch experience. We might have to double think visiting again if all we’ll be getting is microwave meals for £30pp!

Amazing Food! Meat Platter was on point! Side dishes were excellent too! Beers on Tap was lacking selection but all in all great!

Walked past many times and finally booked for lunch. And now I wonder why i hadn't visited earlier. Super spacious inside and must have a great atmosphere when its full. We ordered a bunch of dishes to share between us - cheese naan , potato 65, chilli chicken, crispy lamb, chicken tikka to name but a few. Food was delivered in just the right time (not too short, not too long). Every single dish was outstanding. Flavourful, spice on point, amazingly seasoned. On particular the potatoe 65 was superb and my personal recommendation Shout out to Mahesh for looking after us and general friendly service during our visit. We will going again! Complete recommend.

I recently have had the chance to visit this astounding venue located in Stanmore. My first experience on this space with my closed ones was made special not only by its food but the aura of the staff member striving to provide an absolute restaurant feeling. We often visit this restaurant..... The food was nice but the hospitality they provided was too bad.. it was my special occasion so I decided to come here with my family ....none of the waiters were smiling it seems like they were taking order Forcefully and literally they were in a hurry to close the restaurant even there was customers And even they haven't clean the table before providing the desert..

Celebrated my parents 50th anniversary here and had a party with around 35 guests. The food was amazing, service was brilliant with Sumi helping with the planning before hand and throughout the night and was totally flexible in making the night so special for my parents and all the guest. AJ served us all night and was perfect - continuous smile, tried to meet all of our requests and brought food and drink out without any delays and without being overbearing. We are extremely picky when it comes to our food, and honestly we could not fault any of the dishes that were served. Thank you for making last night so special!

We had an 18th Birthday Party at the function room upstairs at Everest Abercorn. We were extremely pleased with the service we received from the start to the finish. Vineeth Krishnan the manager helped us organise the whole night. They set out the area to our requirements (tables decorated and chairs dressed) and also provided vegetarian food, which was delicious and plenty and enjoyed by all our guests. There is also a separate bar area which served a range of drinks. On the night we had Beni together with Riya and one another, sorry I forgot the name, who looked after us ensuring the party went. They were all very polite and helpful. I would definitely recommend Everest Abercorn if you are looking to hold small parties/gatherings.

Great food, nice seating and atmosphere. Waiting staff are very attentive and helpful. Menu was a good selection of dishes and a few different choices to the typical Indian sports bar type restaurant. Love the mari potatoes and the paneer starters. Worth a trip. Book in advance on weekends
