Overpriced but really good food

Probably more of a 3.5... We came as a party of 10ish to celebrate two birthdays, the service as far as I could tell was decent, the servers friendly and available and everything was brought out as ordered Not sure if it was just a very busy day but the dining room was very loud, hard to hear, can't say much for the atmosphere really, it was dated and bland Food was fine, not bad, not great, just plain. Everything was rather lacking in spice or that kind of authentic Indian flavour. Seems catered for white British people. The best thing we had was lamb bhuna and fried bindhi. All in all, it was a fine experience, pribably wouldn't go back but I don't really have anything negative to say about it.

I would never eat there again. Not worth the money. No-one at restaurant when we got there & we were still ignored. Staff are not attentive. Starters are reasonable & chicken curry we tried was nice. Fish dish was absolutely awful! Four of us tried it & thought the same. Gave feedback to waiter after he asked if we liked our food & still nothing done about it. He returned with the chefs justification etc. We were left unhappy.

Lovely place for authentic Indian food and a drink. 4 Star because it can get quite busy when full, hard to hear yourself talk. Management, please install sound absorbing panels on ceilings etc. Otherwise great!

Starter came without hot plate and was cold, the main was okay. They did not come to ask if everting was okay but automatically added service charge of 12.5% hence the low score

Always properly cooked, well flavoured authentic North Indian food. Never had a bad meal and reasonably priced.

2018: Enjoyable evening. Saturday's are very busy so expect to wait long for the food to arrive. Overall nice place for a family evening out. Edit: Re-Visit March 2024 Sunday Lunch visit, surprisingly busy for a Sunday, staff were all great and coped well, food was on point, the ambience as good as I remember from the first visit.

The chilli chicken took me back home to Kolkata. Additionally, the saag chicken was very well cooked and went perfectly with the naan. However, the butter naan was quite dry. The outdoor seating is airy and very calm. Washrooms are clean and well maintained. Overall, it is a great spot for a family dinner or office party.

I live quite close Abercorn but usually avoid going due to the quality of food but last evening decided to give it a try so ordered two starters. The fish chilli and chicken chilly were both were very salty and un healthy.

We used the function room upstairs to celebrate my birthday party. From the start Vineeth was so helpful, accomodating and really did his best to personalise my event to the way I wanted it. The space upstairs with the bar is really spacious and was just perfect for our event (we had 80 guests). Our friends and family really enjoyed the food, every item was tasty and on the day Beni, Sanskaar and Mihir were so helpful and kept everything moving smoothly. I would highly recommend Everest Abercorn for your next event but having eaten in their restaurant, can also recommend their food downstairs too.

We’ve been to this restaurant a number of times so thought it would be nice to revisit for lunch on our day off. The food was good, it was tasty and the same as we’ve previously experienced however the naan was cold. When we told the waiter that the naan was cold he rudely suggested that it had gone cold because it was sitting on our table for a while. It had only been sat on our table for 5 minutes. He then offered to heat it in the microwave for us which I thought was awful for service. I wouldve expected this to be rectified with fresh naan. The same waiter was quite rude and arrogant and frankly ruined our lunch experience. We might have to double think visiting again if all we’ll be getting is microwave meals for £30pp!

Amazing Food! Meat Platter was on point! Side dishes were excellent too! Beers on Tap was lacking selection but all in all great!

Walked past many times and finally booked for lunch. And now I wonder why i hadn't visited earlier. Super spacious inside and must have a great atmosphere when its full. We ordered a bunch of dishes to share between us - cheese naan , potato 65, chilli chicken, crispy lamb, chicken tikka to name but a few. Food was delivered in just the right time (not too short, not too long). Every single dish was outstanding. Flavourful, spice on point, amazingly seasoned. On particular the potatoe 65 was superb and my personal recommendation Shout out to Mahesh for looking after us and general friendly service during our visit. We will going again! Complete recommend.

I recently have had the chance to visit this astounding venue located in Stanmore. My first experience on this space with my closed ones was made special not only by its food but the aura of the staff member striving to provide an absolute restaurant feeling. This really made me impressed. It will always be my go to place with the people i am close to. Please keep it in your bucket list, you won’t regret. Environment- 5/5 Service- 5/5 Food- 5/5

We often visit this restaurant..... The food was nice but the hospitality they provided was too bad.. it was my special occasion so I decided to come here with my family ....none of the waiters were smiling it seems like they were taking order Forcefully and literally they were in a hurry to close the restaurant even there was customers And even they haven't clean the table before providing the desert..

Celebrated my parents 50th anniversary here and had a party with around 35 guests. The food was amazing, service was brilliant with Sumi helping with the planning before hand and throughout the night and was totally flexible in making the night so special for my parents and all the guest. AJ served us all night and was perfect - continuous smile, tried to meet all of our requests and brought food and drink out without any delays and without being overbearing. We are extremely picky when it comes to our food, and honestly we could not fault any of the dishes that were served. Thank you for making last night so special!

We had an 18th Birthday Party at the function room upstairs at Everest Abercorn. We were extremely pleased with the service we received from the start to the finish. Vineeth Krishnan the manager helped us organise the whole night. They set out the area to our requirements (tables decorated and chairs dressed) and also provided vegetarian food, which was delicious and plenty and enjoyed by all our guests. There is also a separate bar area which served a range of drinks. On the night we had Beni together with Riya and one another, sorry I forgot the name, who looked after us ensuring the party went. They were all very polite and helpful. I would definitely recommend Everest Abercorn if you are looking to hold small parties/gatherings.

Great food, nice seating and atmosphere. Waiting staff are very attentive and helpful. Menu was a good selection of dishes and a few different choices to the typical Indian sports bar type restaurant. Love the mari potatoes and the paneer starters. Worth a trip. Book in advance on weekends

Food is as good as it gets. Service on a Saturday is abysmal . Food ended up being cold by the time it gets to the table. Waiter forgot to bring things and was generally slow.

Nice place to go eat, as well as in summer to have a pint outside.

Food was really nice and the portions huge (biggest salmon tikka I've ever had lol). Got so full on starters we didn't eat mains! The Potato 65 and Mongolian Paneer were the tastiest dishes.

The food here is good, the chilli paneer was tasty and nicely spiced, nice ambiance to the place and good service. Almost £4 for a chilli garlic nan that came thin and lukewarm, come on guys that's daylight robbery.

To the management of Abercorn Jain Association of UK had an amazing experience on our Diwali function on 26th November 2023 at the Abercorn Restaurant in Stanmore.The service was top-notch,the food was scrumptious to a high standard and exceeded our expectations. All this was possible due to the manager Mr Vineeth Krishnan who went above and beyond to help us to accommodate our vegetarian and Vegan requirements ,allowing us to have a very successful ,an enjoyable and a relaxing event.Food allergen labels were placed appropriately next to the food items and the layout of the tables with centre pieces were awesome! The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and attentive with good speed of service and punctual timings. We definitely will be using this venue again for our forthcoming charity events ! Great tasting food, outstanding service and excellent atmosphere in the restaurant. Also, the bar has a brilliant range of draught beers. Even has kingfisher on tap, which is an absolute rarity.

A large group of us, and they accommodated us. A mixture of veggie and non vegetarian and all seemed to be pleased. The prices were reasonable and the portion sizes were the same. Service was fast and efficient. So overall quite good, only a small minor issue, when food was asked mild, it was very spicy 🔥, but to be fair, it's not the first place or won't be the last place.

We hired the Function Room at the Everest Abercorn for our son's 18th surprise party. We can only thank Vineeth and his team for being so attentive on the evening. Our guest complemented the team on being hands on and if they needed anything it was sorted immediately. As for the managers assistance, Vineeth on this journey , amazing nothing was a No! He managed the evening down to every detail. The venue / food and general service were all on point! The event definitely left a lasting memory with our guest, us and our son. Highly recommend the Everest Abercorn for food, and the function room if you need space for a larger party.

Went for my daughters birthday. Was pretty disappointed by the service. Firstly, the plates and dishes were not laid for us; it was a 'plonked on the end of the table' for us to hand out to each other (there was only 5 of us)....

I think food quality needs to be improve a bit.

We had a Birthday Celebrations party of 80 people. The ambience, service, food and staff were very good. The staff was polite and helpful. Their manager Beni was very attentive and charming. I would say their function room is very good for parties.

Great place to eat. The Groupon offer is brilliant and gives you the opportunity to try out local restaurants.

Probably my favourite Indian place! Love the vegetarian dishes available, im glad they haven't changed any recipes because the Mongolian paneer is what I always go for and it still tastes as good as it was years ago!

Been there a few times. They have some great veggie options particularly the sweetcorn served with cream source. It’s a specious restaurant with comfortable seating. It has plenty of parking, waiters are also attentive and service is good overall.

We went for a bday lunch on a Monday afternoon, the restaurant had lovely ambi nice, the food was delicious and the service especially by Mahesh was lovely. He made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Would highly recommend.

We came for our fathers bday meal, with 2 little kids and Mahesh was brilliant in his service, especially with our little one. His service along with the delicious food made the meal extra special.

Only came for drinks this time, but have eaten here before. But this place is always busy most weekends and evenings, better to book especially if weekends.

Last went here when it was Abercorn. Came back last week and was generally impressed with what Everet have done to the place. Food was brilliant, we had Naan, Chilli Paneer, Chilli Garlic Mushrooms and some Chicken Tikka. All was tasty and prepared well. Service from the waiters was great, friendly, and brang out food quickly to us. The atmosphere is also great here with a nice chilled vibe. Parking spaces available at the front and rear of the building, with other parking available on the main / side roads too. Would recommend a visit for sure.

Great atmosphere, the place has its own car park and good service but did not enjoy most of the food as it was too salty/overseasoned. Not many good vegan options and the butter chicken curry labelled as 'a veganized gravy' is actually not vegan due to use of dairy. Would come here for the mogo, but nothing else sadly. Even the naan was dry. Pre-made food meant that they cannot make changes to adding the dairy either. Lucky we had a birthday event and brought dessert, else there were no vegan desserts. Drinks: the beer was flat but cocktails were great!

A very spacious dining experience serving am excellent range of Indian cuisine. Service was efficient and very friendly. Food is served hot and packed with authentic flavour. The tandoori wings are very good along with the chicken lollipop. Portions are generous so take away boxes may be needed! Parking can be challenging at busy times so get in early! Overall an excellent location to have a family meal. They also have a private hire area upstairs. A lot of TV screens have been strategically placed for those big sporting events which is a clever touch. Hopefully visit again soon!

Really nice vibe and the service of the staff was quite good despite the packed venue. I loved the food especially the lamb chop and chicken chatpata. Recommended any day

Drinks reasonable. Desserts very tasty! Has some outdoor seating, but shame that the garden area is mostly car park and has no seating on the grass.

Personally the taste of the naan bread I ordered for takeaway tells me if I would go back and try the other dishes. Save me a seat I plan to come back for a sit down meal very soon...😋👍

I'm only giving 3 star because of the food otherwise terrible service and disrespectful member of staff. Very bad ventilation system you can not breath in this restaurant council need to check on them. Seems like everybody forgot all about covid 19. Shame on restaurant owners not bothered about people is health.
