I had hosted a B'Day Party for my Son. While I wasn't happy with the arrangements done and what restaurant had promised me to deliver but what was more frustrating that I was over-billed. At the time of payment, the cashier told me that their till-machine is not working and hence just did the total on the calculator, which was incorrect. Since, I didn't had the receipt, I didn't realize that I ended-up paying about 15% - 20% extra money and realized only after I came back home. Since, then I have called hotel may times and sent them an e-mail as well but no response from their end. It's not a matter of 40 pounds that I paid extra but the intent and the courtesy demonstrated by the restaurant manager & staff. Disappointing when have a feeling that someone has tried to cheat you...may be unintentional but not correcting their mistake

I organised a surprise birthday party and it was amazing. Management at sd bar and lanes is superb, staff is very friendly. Food was delicious. And Rahul, the owner and Flo, the manager they both are amazing, friendly and helpful. They organised the whole event so so well I couldn't even imagined. Thanks you guys. We had my son,s 9th birthday party at SD lanes today. Kids enjoyed the Bowling and the food was perfect for a kids party. Staff where very accommodating. Highly recommend x

From the first phone call to book the party and discuss the particulars, we have been nothing but impressed with the phenomenal customer service we have received. Your advice on what options would work best for us and the ease at which you accepted our guests various dietary requirements made the whole process so easy for us. It didn’t feel like a business deal but like you actually cared about what would work bets for us. Your staff - what can we say?? Flo greeted us and all our guests with a warm and reassuring smile and made it clear that him and his team would be there to tend to our every need. And that is exactly what you all did. Every single guest felt welcome, special and spoilt. That is no small achievement since we had 24 children and just as many adults! You have made us feel valued and important from the very first moment to the final moment when we left the venue after our Sons fabulous party. You guys have totally nailed great customer service and great food too! Look forward to doing another party in the future soon!!!

Fab place for a birthday party be it for children or 40 th birthday party which I recently attended . Food is delicious and the place is clean , got a very nice vibe and they let you play your own music too . Drinks are a bit dear . Recommend the butter chicken , lamb roghan josh and butter paneer for vegetarians. Starters - seekh kebabs, chilli chicken and dahi samosa chat were all very tasty . You can have a private party and hire the bowling lanes and the room next door .

We booked a children’s party here for ten kids through groupon. Booking wasn’t very straightforward as the member of staff didn’t know what we were talking about. We never received any confirmation of booking either. Once we got there we were shown the tables available for us and the two bowling lanes. We were the only customers in the place so having ten kids for a party should of been easy. First off the constant nagging from the female member of staff put a real damper on the day. Kids are noisy,they run around bearing in mind it’s a kids party. This member of staff was at my side every five minutes complaining about one thing or another. The bowling alley wasn’t great,at one stage the ball actually rolled back up the alley. The food is unlimited on the groupon with pasta, chips and pizza available. The kids were hungry and ate well but we didn’t need anymore food. There were a few left over slices of pizza which I offered to the adults. The female member of staff actually took the pizza out of my mums hand saying it was for the kids,took it away and binned it. When she came to complain to me again I actually told her to leave me alone and requested the manager. There were a few complaints from us about the way the staff behaved and when I discussed this with the manager he just blamed the staff. When I explained that I’m an avid trip adviser reviewer he tried to bribe me with a free game if I gave a good review. It’s a great deal on the face of it but it was a total nightmare. I even opened a tab and spent £60 on top of the party cost as I know the business doesn’t make a profit from groupon,this included food for the adults. The male member of staff behind the bar was fantastic.

Met up with some friends while visiting London. True local gem. Super chill yet very professional. Friendly bartender who whips up amazing drinks. Food was delicious (lamb chops and chili paneer...yum!) Music was on point and the vibe was just perfect. Great spot!

Went to celebrate a birthday, great food - meat was excellent. Great service too, our waiter Kevin really looked after us. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

Went for a birthday treat with family and thoroughly enjoyed it. Place was full on Tue evening...food, ambiance will tell you why? Very authentic Indian food with high on spice-o-meter! Social Dhaba is akin to modern restaurants back home and presents upbeat and comfy setting. KV, our waiter from Mauritius, was fantastic! Only Negatives: Pricey (paid £90 for 4 adults dinner without alcohol!) and tables are not wide enough.

Planning to go again. Taste was nice. Atmosphere is totally different than other restaurants. Went for a birthday.

Recently visited this restaurant with friends and I have to say the food was excellent. This part of London has a high number of restaurants but I have to say Manager Sanjay and our server Kevin did a fantastic job of looking at our table. Food was of high quality hot and drinks were service ice cold. Very well put together dinning experience. I will be going back with my family for an occasion.

Had heard good reviews of this new restaurant and I’m pleased to say I wasn’t disappointed. First impressions were of a buzzing and vibrant place. The staff were very attentive and advised us on our menu selection.Mauritian Kevin even spoke to us in his native French! It was good to try some new dishes- we selected a variety of starters- the okra and the avocado dishes were original and flavoursome. The mixed grill was particularly tasty. Cocktail and wine choices are good. We even managed a bottle of the mango wine before desserts- well worth sampling. And yes we saved space for delicious chocolate desserts too. All in all an excellent evening- we will definitely return 😄

Came to Social Dhaba with my family for my fathers birthday after seeing it on Facebook and Instagram. As soon as we pulled up we were amazed at the external appearance of the restaurant and there was even a nice outdoor seating area. We were promptly greeted and shown to our table. The restaurant was busy and the atmosphere was buzzing. We had amazing food and drink and stayed for approx 3 hours. I would highly recommend this restaurant as it ticks all the boxes for me. Great atmosphere, Great decor, Great service and mouth watering authentic Indian food. I will be going back again soon!!!.

We enjoyed the social dhaba food! The ambience is simple clean and conducive to a fun eve with friends. Food was excellent really authentic I had the black dal and paneer bhindi and bharta. The garlic naan was exquisite and I caught myself eating it on its own! It does get very noisy after 830 pm!!

Nice atmosphere and the restaurant looked good. Starters were nice with ordering the Palaak chaat, crispy corn and chilli paneer.

My family treated me to this very nice restaurant for my birthday. The service was fantastic, especially Ninad and Carmen who were attentive and generally on the ball. The food was great and the the drinks menu is great. Fantastic presentation. Loved the brass theme. Definitely be visiting again.

Ok let's talk about bowling so I booked a bowling Lane face-to-face and they said to me it's 2 hours for £35 but I only got one hour booking so I think the information was wrong also I booked another Lane on phone which was ok and they said the same thing.

Wanted to try Social Dhaba in Hatch End but it was fully booked. Looking online M18 was the same company so decided to give it a try.

Our friends were here from abroad and we met here at this was close to where they were staying. They are not Indian so were worried about the spice levels but loved the food.

Just had to write this review to congratulate Florin, Sonit and the team at M18 for an absolutely faultless execution of my vision for my son's 18th birthday party. Initially as a private hire, my request to turn the restaurant into a function room caused some confusion . However once he grasped my concept, Florin worked unquestioningly to lead the exceptional staff to deliver an amazing event. The layout, service , food and drink presentation and replenishment was orchestrated with slick precision . Commendation particularly to those silent heroes ( the chefs) who delivered a mouth - watering menu and Raj for his technical skill with balloons! Can not thank Florin and the team enough... well done guys!!!

We live around the corner to the restaurant and this is our first visit. We were welcomed with a open heart. Lovely staff and lovely decor. Loved the food and reasonable prices. Waiting for another visit!

We had a university birthday reunion and the food as well as the service was awesome. Very friendly - made us feel very welcome esp. with 6 children Paneer dishes and rotis were amazing. We will be back..

We had only booked for 20, but when a couple of extras turned up M18 accommodated us all. Food and service was fantastic. Highly recommend this place.

This was my first trip to M18. As soon as you walk in, it has the feel of a Mayfair restaurant with no expense spared on the fantastic decor. Sonit (the Manager) was attentive and friendly - he gave some recommendations which were delicious. The staff in general were also prompt and charming. The food was outstanding, I'm not typically a curry man but this experience will have me coming back again and again. At the end of the evening Sonit suggested a game of bowling downstairs - we were surprised to find a fully functioning ally with big screens everywhere to watch the football. A brilliant night overall - would thoroughly recommend.

Myself and a couple of friends ate at this restaurant last night and we were very impressed. There was plenty of choice on the menu and the dishes were delicious and well presented.

Was a great experience. From start to finish we received fantastic service, in particularly from Rhiya. She was friendly with the kids and ensured we were enjoying our visit. Food was lovely and the music was just right. Would return myself with family and recommend to others.

Had a lovely dinner with a friend. The food tasted fresh and authentic. My only complaint was that I ordered a Tea instead of Dessert and it took an age to come!

We celebrated my uncles 70th birthday at M18. The manager Vishal and all the staff were so helpful. All our requests were dealt with promptly, efficiently and professionally and with a smile, every time. The food was delicious as were the cocktails. I highly recommend M18 whether it is for a small family dinner or for a bigger party. Thank you M18 for making our party so memorable.

We all enjoyed a good authentic Indian vegetarian meal together. The service was prompt and friendly and efforts were made to make sure we had a good time.The ambience was good with many other diners enjoying themselves. The decor and furnishing is all swish, clean and up-to-date.

Must say that M18 is one of the best restaurants of London for anyone who is searching for typical Asian especially Punjabi food. The taste is just awesome, the service is great, very friendly and humble staff.....would like to visit more often

We were blown away by the level of quality of food and wine at M18. The prawn starter is a must, and the onion bhajis we enjoyed were the best we’ve ever had. All of the dishes were rich, packed with flavour and memorable. The wines on the list were varied and the cocktails were flying out of the bar. The ambience was ‘cool’ and modern for an Indian restaurant so should attract a younger scene. I’m sure the bowling lanes downstairs also help with that. We will 100% be back to try the other dishes!

Went to celebrate a friends birthdy and, overall a decent experience, (including the bowling). A very nice restaurant with a great environment and pretty good service. The food is squarely average, you can’t complain about it but it’s not something to write home about, and slightly pricey. Nevertheless, an enjoyable and worthwhile experience.

We had been to the bowling alley under this restaurant and had seen they also have a place to eat so we booked in for a girl night out there.

Almost gave this venue 4 stars purely because of the terrible waitress we had in their restaurant, but in the end we had a fantastic night. The food was delicious, the bar staff were attentive and the bowling was such good fun. We're always looking for a work night out in the area and would definately return assuming said waitress receives additional training.

We went as a group of girls and had a really nice time, the staff was friendly, we wasn't rushed and were left alone to enjoy catching up. It's just such a shame that the food was only average at best, and is not worth the price that's being charged.

Visited the restaurant on a Saturday night. Really good vibe, busy but the staff were very attentive and the food is tasty. Kudos to Bhavin and Bharat for excellent service. The manager, Vishal was also very helpful and showed us the bowling downstairs.

We, a group of 4 visited this place for dinner for a cosy chat.

I had a lovey evening while dining at M18 tonight, not only was the food made to a very substantial level, the staff proceeded to make my night enjoyable through their friendliness and helpfulness. We were greeted upon entrance by the manager Vishal, he was very kind. I would also love to point out the lovely waiter Bharat. He was so kind throughout my whole meal and made my night more enjoyable. After eating we played a couple games of bowling next door which was organised very well and was made very fun too.

THE MOOD: The modern decor is a big enhancement to how the resturant used to look and much more up to date and contemporary look and feel could fit in to a Mayfair location without any issue. The website is also on par with a Mayfair location and you are expecting something really special so the marketing element is defiantly working. But read on to main element which is the food.

Last night I had a takeaway from M18. It was fabulous! We waited in the restaurant whilst it cooked. The service was brilliant. The food was so tasty and tasted just as nice as the food I have had when dining in the restaurant. The restaurant itself is modern and super classy. I will be returning back very soon and will continue to recommend to my friends. Thank you again for the wonderful service and food!

We have been coming here for the last 20 years, previously known as Mauriya. It's gone up-market, with high end furnishings with new management and higher levels of service and luxury. Food is great and a huge choice of wines and cocktails.

We walked in to m18 on Saturday night without a reservation, the restaurant was buzzing great atmosphere. We were still accommodated. The food was awesome just the correct spice levels and great flavours. I would certainly be visiting m18 often now. Highly recommend!!

We were dining as a group of 6 friends on Saturday evening. The restaurant is beautifully decorated throughout, and it was packed full. We were delighted to be given a lovely round table. The service was impeccable, the friendly staff could not do enough to make our evening pleasurable, and the food was all absolutely delicious. A similar restaurant in London would easily charge double for the meal we had. We will definitely be back!

Taking individual diners plates away the moment they finish while others at the table are still eating is not good service; it's rude and intrusive.

Had a very nice meal / good service / starter mains very good and staff very friendly service good / until we both visited the toilets / the toilet clean rotor showed the area had not been serviced since the Saturday / we visited at 13.30 Sunday lunch

Six of us oldies visited in the evening last week , had few drinks,,starter and mains. We all enjoyed unanimously all foods and drinks. Well decorated bar and service is second to none. I would recommend all to visit once and you would get addicted with tasty foods.
